MTN have about 80 centers nationwide. Lagos alone should have about 6 centres talkless of other states. it's not a must that you use MTN if you're dissatisfied with them

I swear my airtel line I registered it only once and dat was when they first started dis sim registration thing dats when u don't see chronic queues. just walk in, register ur sim.& be done in 7 mins. But dis useless mtn I have registered up to 4 times now. I just quietly removed their sim 4rm my phone and threw it in d available dustbin I saw. No time for nonsense. Are they the only network in Nigeria?

Yea but those other service providers are not efficient and consistent enough. So I wouldn't blame them if they use MTN inspite of this scenario

that means mtn should have 6 registration centres for the geopolitical zones,every1 in the southwest go to lagos and etc since the problem is better off in mtn abi guy

Mtn will not pay that money unless it is slashed by at least 70%. It is obvious this is a conspiracy against MTN and in in the long run it will affect Nigeria economically as it would scare away foreign investors. Cmon lets all be sincere, N1.04 trillion fine.. Are u kidding me? , even with a 25% reduction factored in, is almost 40 times larger than the next-biggest fine imposed anywhere in the world on a telecoms operator (US$100m on America’s AT&T). And to make matters worse they were asked to pay within 4 months... That's like a whole country's yearly budget imposed on a single telecommunications company. I'm a Nigerian, and I know MTN will not pay that money. The case will be in court for a long time until the fine is slashed. NCC must be high on some high skunk if they think Mtn will pay. Or they think they can impose all Nigerian's problem on MTN. Iranu. How much has the government fined dangote when his trucks kill people on regular basis?

So after futile experience of sending new year messages with the response: check operator services ; I was surprised with a compensation of 1500 even into my main account. Get me right, I'm not a paid mtn advertiser, neither am I an unpatriotic Nigerian. In lieu of this, I personally think mtn should be treated with tenderness so that the fine wouldn't have a negative impact on their operations. Happy new year.

Dude they don't even know tecno on gsmarena.com whereas other china phones like xiaomi, gionee and huawei are recognised. Tecno are enjoying their early penetration into the Nigerian market and I praise them for that. They came into the market when only the rich could afford smartphones in nigeria. Then BlackBerry were ripping us with their stup1d bold and curve selling them at exorbitant prices. I remember someone buyijg bold 4 for 90k, bkackberry z10 for 130k, wtf. But tecno made snartphones affordable for everyone, they are the first to exploit the market and they are reaping the benefits now. Other chinese oems now see there is a big market in nigeria so they start launching their phones. So abeg make tecno dey chop dey go, they earned it to be honest.
