It is an issue of acceptability. It is so unfortunity to the good igbos but most nigerian heart have been wounded by igbo traders that most nigerian carry the mind set to see every igbo that why. it is not a yoruba issue. it is all over nigeria. they are know for ripping people off. Which has create the wrong impression in people mind. In the north that is one of the many reason the northerner do what they do sometime. they feel cheated by the igbos.

An average yoruba or hausa man in business would likely tell you close to the real price of a good with little profit on it. but if for an igboman , and the price is $100 the igboman would tell you , he want to sell it for $800. And you discovery the yoruba or hausa man selling same product for $120. they get piss off with the igbo people. And assume they are thief. Thier mind get information of who an igboman is. The igboman call it business. the other nigerian call it a scam.

You walk into an igbo store. He tell you he has two product fake and original. You would never walk into a yoruba or hausa store and find fake product in them. they would never want to sell it in the first place. This are the reason why nigerian see igbos as scammer and it affect the way they vote.
I would tell you , there are some igbos who are born again, but because people have already made up thier mind of who an igboman is. It is hard to make them vote for igbos. None tell of the story of the honest igboman trying to take care of his family and is not a trader because people do not see. Most people see the traders everyday. And they are the main medium to market the Igbos. And average igbo traders see over 500 people aday. He is who every Nigerian see as an Igboman because he is the one they deal with everyday and they get rip off.

Other Nigerian never want to do business with igbo people. they think twice. Igbos have to change this, the trader is the medium of marketing the Igbo presidency. If he stop ripping off other nigerians they would see igbos in a new light.
It may be bitter but the truth still need to be said anyway?

Being blessed in that area in fine as long as your pleased with it and confident about it.

What I dont understand is wearing some body-hugging dress or pants and then acting offended when people start looking at you.

Is that not the main purpose of wearing it
I wonder o? The whole world knows that men are moved by what they see and you still tempt us.

Nope, that's not the main purpose of wearing it. Some people wear them because they look good in them Cool. Who wouldn't want to look good? Cool If you want to ogle, ogle at your own butt!!!
well then women should not complain that their bums are being stared at?

Education › Re: Look Who Is Going To School In Nigeria: The Statistics May Surprise You by deb(m): 1:02pm On Mar 18, 2009
Can u speak any other language apart from yoruba? You see there are many Igbos who Speak more than 3 languages apart from English, what does it tell u. That these people are naturally ahead in learning and excellence, not stolen government money.

To many yorubas, there are only UI, OAU and Unilag, others are not schools. These same people are so educated that they cannot differentiate between Igbo names and other tribes - If you are not hausa or yoruba then you are Igbo, their ignorance of Nigeria, people of Nigeria will always make them think they have the best of Schools, education etal. They don't like competition - because Igbos have beaten in almost every area of endeavour, all they do is to hate and give Igbos bad names. I remember my lecturers in Yabatech and later in UI, always associating bad things with Igbos when they know there Igbos in their classes, and then good legacies with yorubas.

They should open their eyes and see the hand writing on the wall.

Drug dealers?

Please tell us more about MKO abiola and his drug deals
Tell us more About Tinubu who was arrested in the US for drugs
Tell us more about Akindele Ikumoloyi AKA Ile Eru, whom the NDLEA described as the biggest baron in Nigeria
Tell us more about the names of the first three Nigerians who were executed by Buhari for drugs
I guess it is people who have not sinned that are casting the stone.

we are talking abt $ and not naira.
it was according to the poster only $3.08 billion dollars. the most interesting spect of it is the only which is common when talking about money no matter how much is involved.
Man! Thanks for the correction, it was a typo. I meant to type $ not Naira

You can cry if you want, you can even jump into the sea if that makes you feel better.
A good percentage of these Nigerians that you're painting as bad fruits are still responsible for employment opportunities in Nigeria as we speak.
Not everyone has the opportunity to migrate out of Nigeria. For those ones that are strong enough to remain in Nigeria, "these thieves" are the only hope at this time that keep us moving and continue to shine light on Nigerian Universities graduates.

And I see nothing wrong with listing the names of successful people in Nigeria. The concept to me is inspirational and I also view their stories as motivational tool for the students of business.
It is sad and natural for Nigerians to quickly see negative in everything when they aren't directly involved.
If you have anything against anyone on the list, I think you should go ahead and present your case, but to box everyone on this list as thieves is foolish and irresponsible.
I agree with you sir.
Nigerians can complain. God?!
Business › Re: Nigeria's 10 Richest Persons As Of 03/13/2009 by deb(m): 2:49pm On Mar 17, 2009
this is just forbes list.
any list that does not have the likes of obj, babangida, odili, tony annenih, atiku is not a complete list as long as nigerian rich men are concerned.
What is your own definition of wealth. Imagine the names you listed are all people who never worked for their so called wealth.
ibb, atiku, obj and the rest? Man the thread is about people who we all can point to their source of wealth, not the ones stolen
from the nation's purse. abeg!

Some people have eyes , but cannot see
they have ears but cannot hear
They can read but cannot understand

That the Igbos dominate Nigerian markets have already been established, the issue is the methodology. Many Nigerians believe they are using an unfair methods. The argument that the Igbos are hardworking, while all other Nigerians are lazy is baseless and insulting. Its like the typical argument among biologist; nature vs nurture
Igbos are not even among the world's richest people when the newly released list had two Nigerians; Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola
yet some disillusioned people think they are more hardworking than everyone else in Nigeria

Lets form the Voltron,

You guys remember when princess was ill and all the four lions were being
beaten black and blue? They needed to form Voltron bu they could not bacause
Princess was still on her sick bed. She had to leave her bed to join them in the battle field
so they could form Voltron.

The blue lion woke them up from their unconscious state one after the other. And each Lion
responded with different EFIZEE roaring along the different sound track alloted to each of them.
Alas! they formed voltron with princess, brought out their sword and destroyed the giant robots

go go Voltron. I love that cartoon man!

@poster
Do you think this two are richer than IBB and all the politicians that have been looting our money,
please read your line again? IBB and the politicians you are refering to are looters not rich. They don't even
have the skill to make genuine money. If they hadn't stolen in the past you will not even have been considering
them now.

So, please and please don't mix thief with people who work for their money. There is dignity in labour and
the Otedolas, Dangotes and the rest deserve to be celebrated not the likes of IBB who should be rotting in jail now
if he was in a sane country?

@ofokasibe
ur friend shouldnt have been dumb enuff to let anyone listen to his unreleased song talkless of stealing it.
i blame ur friend for being dumb!
You don't get it.
He has started work on the project in the Music studios. He couldn't continue with it because of fund so he suspended
it so he could go source for more fund. However, before he returned back to the studios his producer had given his song
to the artiste that sang it.
Maybe he was stupid not to have transfered his song onto a CD and also that he didn't make sure
the copy left on the studio PC was deleted from the recycle bin?
