Sports › Re: Nigeria For FIFA World Cup: Will The Eagles Qualify? by deb(m): 3:34pm On Mar 31, 2009
No one should loose his sleep or health to these FOWLS mistaken for eagles.

NIGERIANS should endeavour to forget 2010 and focus on 2014.

2014 will be hopefull under a brand new team assembled by Siasia.

Please, do not put a bit of hope in SA 2010, Tusinia is the Chosen.

Thanks, Nigerian for your understanding.
I understood angry embarassed sad undecided
wetin man go do. Two consecutive FIFA World Cups missed.

When you carry Junk (Amodu) to manage papa fowl (super eagles) What you get is the result of MONKEY

The way Nigerians think and talk affect their results.Befor the match many Nigerians including the Niiralanders had already condenmed and accepted defeat for Their Super Eagles.Should i say here that mahy Nairalanders contributed to the failure. How will u parade feared players like Uche Obafemi,Mikel and others and expect not to perform well. These discouraging comments reach those players,a nd it goes a long way in discouraging them.No matter what u say or do ,u are a Nigerian and Super Eagles fan.Being a fan is supportung your team when they are going up or down
Your brother dey super chicken?
Sports › Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by deb(m): 12:43pm On Mar 31, 2009
I think like someone said here, the boys lack passion. They know they are assured of their place in the team whether they play well or not thats why they play anyhow when playing for Nigeria.

You all should have seen the passion in players like Drogba, Toure, Eboue, Kalou in the Ivorian team when they played on saturday. And these are players that play regularly for their clubs. Amodu needs to be brave and wield the big stick. Nobody will complain if he goes for hungrier players. Players who want to make a name for themselves and are ready to die on the field to make that name. You will see the way Nwaneri played on sunday was different from the way any other player played. Thats because he knows that when Yobo comes back, it will be hard to get his shirt from him as captain thats why he gave a sterling performance.

We need hungry players even if they are from the local league. Its not as bad as we think at least not in Africa. Heartland beat an African team away some weeks ago and even recently, Kano Pillars drew away in the CAF Champs League. Mozambique, Kenya both have majority of teir players playing in their local league so Amodu cannot tell us that we don't have players in Heartland, Enyimba, Pillars, Rangers, etc who can beat these teams comfortably with the injection of a few commited foreign based players. I think he is just too lazy to groom them and prefers 'the devils he knows', as he aptly stated.
Responding to the highlighted paragraph,
Passion or no passion, these Eagles cannot play nothing. It is simple they are not good enough and we don't have a coach
that is confident enough to do what is right to field younger and much more energetic, passionate and determined talents that we
have across the world.

Our midfielders are currently sick. And once the midfield of anything collapses then its as good as you don't have a team.
Why can't we field Rabiu Ibrahim? I'm sure if we had been featuring him regularly he would have developed enough confidence
instead we kept giving Mikel Obi whose attacking skill had been completely destroyed by Mourinho the number 10 jersey.
Sports › Re: Who Is Your Favourite Super Eagles Player? by deb(m): 3:35pm On Mar 30, 2009
Garba lawal, Just like Gattuso for Italy, never tired and always punctual, hardly complains and very disciplined.
hmm u remind me of that guy. He is a workaholic. very disciplined player, but Nigerians never appreciate him then.

I wish all our so called super stars, if we have any at all, could emulate hi character with their skills combined

Football game has chaged a lot .These days you can hardly find push- overs teams.Mozambique and super Eagles are good teams playing against each other. The two teams created good chances. But i think Mozambique is a bit luckier having been used to playing on that kind of pitch.Nigerians! lets say the truth,If u have ever played on a pitch that when u overlapp , the pitch draws the ball back ,or when u try to play a shot, the teeth of the grass draws the ball back and many others,it will definitely not bring out the best performance in you .The pitch played a major role in the performance of the super eagles. Do u think Oba goal would have missed those scoring chances ordinarily. If u have eyes, then u will believe me,then if u dont have eyes, then u r among those Nigerians who dont reason b4 they talk.
You wait to see Tunisia beat Mozambique on the same pitch. Do you think Brazil, Italy or any quality team would still not have beaten
them on that pictch? Infact the pitch wud only have saved them from 10goals bashing to just 5 goals to nil. Keep giving papa chicken eagles
them excuse. olodo! shocked

AMODU has to go
Familiar phrase from the same people that clamour for his appointment in the 1st place.
God punish all of you that clamoured for his 5th, 7th or his how many times return to eagles sef.

want to be proud of. He is a very powerful and influential person in not only Ukraine but in europe.
His story is that of a man that rose from grass to grace so I won't be surprised if anybody is trying to pull him down,

You guys should really look at where the situation is.

Do yahoo yahoo boy who buys different things only with someone else's credit card online have access to the atm card or the bank itself.

If u havent compromised your card then its just a random selection on you. All the fraudsters need is a software that permutate numbers till they hit a jackpot. Yes your card is been used but it is been used online.

Am not justifying the banks or justifing u. all am saying is we are in an unsecured economy so save ur grief.
Must you post that? Now, you have opened door for some bastard who have no job to start trying to figure how they can swindle
more people. I pray you will be the first victim. Unguarded mouth!
Business › Re: Firstbank Customers Beware, Money Missing In Acount by deb(m): 4:33pm On Mar 23, 2009
man u're cruel posting a thing like this about FirstBank. u ain't gonna get anywhere trying to portray the bank in bad light like u're doing.the bank is in a class of it's own-has more sense than soil its hard earned name and esteem with a paltry 20 kobo or wat did u say it was. it's simple,ur password has been compromised.put in a letter instructing that ur atm be blocked so there'l be no further transaction on the account via atm for now, then request for a new pin.be careful next time and always watch ur back.act now so u won't lose all ur money rather than waste time posting malicious topics about a bank driven by integrity and with zero tolerance for fraud and sharp practices.
In case what the poster was saying is true, I feel shocked by the above quoted response. The response is cruel.

Business › Re: Intercontinental Bank Has Become Useless by deb(m): 12:18pm On Mar 23, 2009
Hi guys,

I have carefully read most of the posts here and carefully conducted a personal research on this bank.
I use this bank alongside three other banks in 9ja and i have confirmed that most of the people that posted negative comments here are just unfair to the bank (intercontinental bank) and our dear country -----I'm aware some banks also charge btw N50-N100 per ATM withdrawal. Most of the negative posts on this thread are over-bloated, exaggerated, and in some cases cannot be verified, the bank is not as bad as it is being represented here, I know of a relative that just took substantial loan from this bank. I do not think a distressed bank can give such a loan.

We need to realize that the economic meltdown is a global issue and we all seen how it is taking it's toll on most big orgs worldwide including big banks in US and Europe. Its only God that is still sustaining our economy and i wonder why some of us are attempting to destroy what God has done for us,

The absolute truth is that orgs need to take some measures to remain in business, and such can include, business re-strategize, lay-off, salary-cut, over-head reduction etc, I heard from an unconfirmed source that the bank want to cut salary, but if the MGT thinks that is necessary to keep them alive, i see nothing wrong in that, I am aware of other banks and so many organizations that have laid-off.

I have had causes to leave some banks due to unsatisfactory services, and i always believe it makes sense to do so as customer we have right of choice, but it's not good to pull others down
I can see you are another newly registered member making a post. If every other staff of your bank had responded this way, maybe we would have
been a little softer in our responses, but when you result to personal attack to your customers on a public forum, trust me you are doing yourselves
more harm than good. I guess the heart of Nigerians should have been obvious to you now. You cannot afford not to satisfy customers or you will
be out of business very soon. Nigeria is one country where customers get slapped a lot without being able to do anything about it. Its not only
in the banking sector. Even telecoms and some other major sectors do slap us on the face a lot because they know Nigeria is sort of still backward
and they can get away with their act.
Thank God for seun for creating this forum. At least the people of our country can pay back a little from here grin grin cheesy What a wonderful and powerful forum. Telecoms it may be your turn next time.

Anyway, to answer your stupid poverty stricken bastard who cannot survive without salary,

Look at all the IDs, they are all newly registered members of the forum.
They have all been mobilised from Intercontinental Bank to save their bank.
See them devicing different strategies against the innocent lady Sweet T. They want to know
if she came from a competing bank. They don't even want to accept that most of their customers including me
are disatisfied with their services.
You evil genius IntercontinenTHIEF bank

I am a regular poster on dis forum for close to 3years now. And most of the folks
on this forum know that I am an enterpreneur not any banker. So, you can't  accuse me like
you are doing sweet T as though she's from a competing bank.
What is happening to you now is what I call payback time from customers that you have cheated severally including me.
It is not a curse your bank will soon die by the time we all finish withdrawing our money.
This is a powerful forum visited by millions of Nigerians, we can kill you from here if you refuse to change and we can also make you
here if you change your act for good

I had closed my account with Intercontinental and I had advised my family to do the same even before I saw this thread.
This your desperate move is confirmation that you are losing it. And you have just not lost me I am also determined to run you down
as an aggrieved customer.
Nairalanders, can you imagine your own bank deducting N50 from your account everytime you use their ATM? Thief thief bank.
You can't eat your cake and have it back. Bastards! You can mobilise all your staff all you care. Nigerians on this forum know better.

If you love yourself move that money from Intercontinental Bank to a more secured one sharp sharp!

Mr. man that is your own opinion, but remember your opinion is Smiley not other people's opinion.
Nobody will crucify Siasia should he fail (though i don't pray for that) because his appointment is long overdue, but due to politics in the NFF, he wasn't given the chance to do what he knows how to do best.
Wishing him success if given the free hand to do his work but nobody will hold him responsible for the epleptic performance of the NFF.

Goodluck Siasia.
Are you referring to the same football followers in Nigeria that I know?

Do you realize how much the media and football followers praised the appointment of Amodu as though he is the best thing that happened to
Nigeria, and how much the same people condemned him after the draw with Jamaica as though he is the worst thing that ever happened to Nigerian football?
