Romance › My Brother Wants To Quit His Relationship. He Needs My Advise What Do I Tell Him by deb(op): 6:09pm On Apr 06, 2009
Hello Nairalanders,
My younger brother wants to quit his relationship of 9months with his girl and he wants me to advise him.
I don't just want to give him my mind alone, I want other views from able nairalanders with experience.

He complains that his girlfriend is too proud and cannot submit to him.
She complains about everything and she never seem to appreciate anything he does.
The word of her mouth does not match her action.
She talks to him with disregard and anytime he threatens to quit the relationship for her lack of respect, she begins to cry and
promise to change.

He loves her despite her weaknesses but he is scared he may not be able to cope with her character if they get married.
They are both already planning to get married December but he says he doesn't want to regret his actions.
He loves her but detest her character.

I told him to give me time because relationship issues are delicate to poke nose and they might both decide
to get married eventually after I must have advised him to quit. In my opinion I feel he should quit if he his sure he cannot
tolerate her attitude in marriage. I have seen men who thought they will never lay a finger on their wives but eventually after
marriage, out of frustration they beat and batter their wives. My brother is a very gentle guy I don't want him to turn to a wife
beater someday.

I need your advise what should I tell him?

Nigerians are so quick to make noise about their negative deeds.
why other countries sweep theirs under the carpet as though they are saints. They also help us
maginify our problems and challenges that we ourselves love to tell the whole world about.

I still can't understand why we can't make noise about all the wonderful and great things that Nigerians do
across the world except the negative ones. The most amazing thing is that the people that cause problems
for us are fewer in number. gosh! shocked

May the almighty God save us from our 'men of god'. But is this guy still in Ukraine?
The world is not yet saved from people like you, you are asking God to save us from 'men of god' like you stated it.
A lot of people find it to be committed to God's activities like these other men that you quoted as 'men of god'
yet all they do is to condemn them at the slightest mistake/rumour.

Hypocrites who never sin are the quickest to condemn others

MAITEMA,
1. pls explain to me who a play maker is.
2. the last time nigeria won the african cup of nations, who was their play maker?
3. is this topic about mikel's inabilities or amodu's?
4. did nigeria fail to do well in mozambique because mikel did not play well?
5. from all posts here, mikel is not a good player, will it be right if i say mikel is either bribing all these coaches or using juju on them both at club levels and national team?
6. what do u think is responsible for every commentator to talk about mikel at the end of every match including you?
7. i will be happy to know who is the play maker of england at the moment.
8. what do you think is the problem of nigerian football - mikel?
9. under normal circumstances, can't nigeria win in moputo even with 10 players?
10. is etim among ur list of successful players in nigeria? if yes, pls highlight his achievements.
my brother, you did not direct the questions at me but I can tell you that
I have not seen any good in Mikel since after the under20 world cup that Siasia took him.
Mikel has simply lost his football identity. Can you imagine what Lionel Messi is doing?
who will ever imagine that Mikel was ever nominated as the 2nd best player of a world cup
tournament just behind Messi. Some of us even argued then that it was an unfair decision that Mikel should have won the best player award.
Now look at the same Mikel, A very confused footballer in my opinion. Highly under utilized potential dey worry am now.

And before you start to attack me, I am a Chelsea fan, and I've been supporting the club since the
era of Zola, Desaile, babayaro down to the present generation.
Sports › Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by deb(m): 2:51pm On Apr 02, 2009
the problem of nigeria and nigerians is politics in everything. mikel was sick and was not fit for the game but instead of looking up for a replacement, the nff and other authorities were rather more interested in mapping out punishments in case mikel did not show up.
to make the matter worst, he lasted 90 mins. we have other players who are hungry to make an impact. how can a nigerian doctor certify mikel when chelsea doctors confirmed him unfit.
if nigeria has a doctor for real, why is non of our politicians go to them even for headache.a lot of things are wrong with football administration in nigeria and unless those political issues are addressed, the motivation and unity among the players will not come back.
if you look at the team, there is no commitments yet they will come out to say the spirit is high.
at the moment, the pdp govt has no interest in the game bcs it is not oil related hence the privaization urge and for one or two reasons, the game has been used to compensate a few for their political contributions in the rigging programmes of pdp.
I agree with you. And its for this kind of politicking that even foreign coaches, be it Berti Vogt or whoever, will not succeed in Nigeria.
