Your answer to how will this program help you needs to be rephrased just in case of another time. That answer sounded like you had plans of not returning to your home country. First, you bad-mouthed your home country, said it lacks adequate automobile professionals, yes, we may understand that but the VO won't see it that way (he/she would see it like an escape plan from your country), then when you said you can render efficient services unlike them, you should have stated the location you plan on practicing which should be Nigeria. Also, if this sponsor of yours is not related to you in anyway, why is he/she sponsoring you, have you thought of an answer to that? I've heard of people of your age getting their study visa and I hope you get to experience that too. Styles3six: Good day everyone My visa was denied yesterday Lagos office
V.o good morning and pass me your 1-20 and passport
Me- good morning and passed it on
V.o- so what are you studying and and school
Me- I will be studying automobile automotive mechanics at salt lake community college
V.o- how will this program help you
Me- Always had passion for repairs and maintenance , so getting quality education at this college would enquip me with the right knowledge to be a top automobile expert since my location in nigeria lack adequate professionals .. I can render efficient services unlike the roadside mechanics
V.o I will not be granting you and passed me the blue paper
Note- the blue paper says lack of home ties , am 34 going for my first degree , I don't have a kid yet , my sponsor is American and not family
Advice needed on reapplying for a new interview .. can I say I have a kid in the next 1-20 form I fill to get better home ties .. is it possible Should I go to abuja next? |

How was the crowd? Were the queues long? Etc Thanks! Well, the queues were long, can't say if it's always like that but too many people were scheduled for today. The nose mask is compulsory and you'll be asked to sanitize your hands using the sanitizer dispenser at every room you enter..... apart from this, no other COVID protocols |

Novartis: Hey guys
I need a school with no application fee, no gre, no English proficiency test, no WES evaluation actually, this is possible, some schools are running no application fee till 15th of February while very few are doing it for the whole year self, Google schools with free application fee or application fee waivers, check the requirements for your course, not all courses require GRE and the better news is once your undergraduate degree was taught in English, your school or the evaluation organization used to evaluate your transcript (if any) can attach a letter that says your degree was taught in English. Note: Nigeria is being removed from list of countries that need English Proficiency Test to secure admission lately, tho not all schools allow this yet. |

tiptoe1: Wow. I didn't know one could do it this way, transferring your Sevis payment to another applicant. I thought your profile would have been linked to it already. Yeah, profile would've been linked but by the time you transfer payment, the new profile would be linked to the payment. |
Travel › Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Debbss: 7:47pm On Dec 28, 2020 |
tiptoe1: You mean you've made a Sevis fee payment and would like to transfer it to someone who hasn't made the payment yet. It's not possible, it can't be done.
Sevis fee is valid for a year and even if you wish to apply to a different school for fall, it can be transfered to the new school Sevis ID. So if it's still within a year, you have nothing to worry about It is 100% possible, the SEVIS fee is still valid but it won't be valid by the time I'll be reapplying for Visa as it would be more than a year by then so it would be valid for anybody trying to pay for Spring and Summer session. |
