You will get an email update on your application every time there are changes in the application status. However, I advise you do a routine check on you online account (say every 2 weeks)
The last time i.e 3days ago I checked It showed processing that they are on final decision since few weeks now,I don't want to be checking its making me think alot am asking if I discard that online account, if my visa is processed and dispatched will I get a mail as I didn't pay for any notification even the one they updated I didn't get notification it was cic account I discovered it.

For Future Applicants

Paper Route (the best way to submit a Canada study permit application with zero worries)

MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT EARLY LIKE 5 MONTHS TO RESUMPTION DATE

1) Make sure all your academic docs are photocopies

2) Only Bank statement and all letters addressed to CIC should be original

3) Don't submit your passport (you might need it for other travels with faster results)

4) Link your application online

5) Live your life and check your account once a week (preferably Saturday night)

6) Pray and don't worry about the application

Note : All other documents should be photocopies
Medical Examination is optional (upfront or wait for permission to do so)
And most importantly live like you didn't submit an application

Because Canadian study permit question now is like "How old is your application?"

DON'T STRESS YOURSELF

Cheers!!

Nigerian traveling with work visa? I don't even think Nigeria is eligible for that class of visa. I'm not sure but I know that the only way to get a work permit is IN Canada. When you are there already. I could be wrong, but that's how I got mine. When I had a job offer I used that to apply whilst still in Canada. This was far back as 2011 though.
I know they're a lot of scams in Nigeria and agents parading that they can get one a work visa to go work in Canada, but that's impossible if you don't have a job offer. And that visa is probably fraudulent.
Bro you meant you only get legit work from agents only there in canada ?

I would advise that you register and prepare for another Ielts, while you request for a remark.

My first test was LSWR 9,8,7 6.5 and I requested for a remark and I immediately registered for another test which I did a few weeks later. The result was LSWR 8,8,7,7, which gave me enough points to dive into the pool with 434. Last week I got ITA. This is the 6th week since I requested for remark for the first test and nothing yet. If you are not in a rush to get into the pool then you can wait for the outcome of the remark test, however, it's a big gamble; you may likely not get an upgraded scored.

Think smart.......
How did you tell them to remark your Ielts I mean

1. what was the message you sent to them.
2. Whats the mail you sent in applying for that??
3. How much did you pay?

CrimeGun Men Invade Anambra Church Kills Many by debris(op): 6:16pm On Aug 06, 2017
Gunmen numbering about 5 invaded St Philips Catholic Church, Amakwa Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Anambra state and killed over 50 worshippers(unconfirmed)
According to an eyewitness, the gunmen invaded the church around 7:30 am today, Sunday, August 6th, 2017
The death toll is on the increase as the injured and the dead bodies have been taken to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi.

All the the doctors and pharmacists attending mass in the hospital have retired to the theatre and casualty units for surgeries and treatment.
The church was built by a South African-based business man and philanthropist, popularly known as Bishop.

According to reports, Bishop left the town yesterday before today's unfortunate incident.
Unconfirmed reports say that the gunmen, after the church massacre, proceeded to the philanthropist's house and shot his father dead.

Meanwhile, insinuations from different quarters believe it may not be unconnected with the recent drug war by some Indigenes of Ozubulu in South Africa.
This is a developing story, more details shortly.
