Wait until you land as a student to then apply for PR. You can get most of the required documentation in place now ahead of your PR application. Unfortunately for a friend, he applied for PR visa while processing student visa, both were denied. He requested for his GCMS and observed that a review officer remarked they were not convinced of his intentions; they didn't understand why he was applying for student visa and then pursuing PR, he appeared as a desperate applicant so they shut him down. For your situation, land as a student first, then apply for PR if you meet the requirements. That's what most other students with work experience do, cheers.
hi dear all am just saying is that i already have the visa not that is under review, you mean i should leave it?
i thought about applying from as i heard getting it from canada is difficult.

We left Lagos about 6:35am and landed in Casablanca after 10:am.
From there a bus drove us to a place with lots of chairs and a free wifi where we rested for about 6 hours till we were later driven again to the airport to checkin to Motreal.

We were fed four times. On the trip to Cassablanca, at the waiting hall and two time during the flight to Montreal.

I was most impressed by the way the flight crew attended to a white lady who was having health issue. they went all out to help the lady regain consciousness. she was handed to proper doctors immediately the plane landed at Montreal.

We got to Montreal around 8:30pm and after we cleared with immigration and had our PR paper signed, we had to wait till 5:am inside the airport to check in with Air Canada to board a flight to Winnipeg.

The most interesting part of the journey was when the immigration officer signed our papers and said "Congratulation, you now have all the rights of a Canadian citizen except the right to vote."
If am not mistaken I thought they said Quebec is not advisable for landing due to some processes or was it because you came with a PR visa??@papaking

yea, its nice. Pgc health informatics holds better opportunities.
with pg certs in health informatics can they consider it with a bsc third class for a masters degree ? Am considering based on the program is post graduate certificate not post graduate diploma.

I used DHL and it was 19500 to send plus insurance, 21626 for pick up (2 passports). It seems VFS is 9800 per passport both ways. So DHL is more than twice that of VFS for 2 passports...but faster. People who have used VFS can shed more light on the time difference between the two so one can make an informed decision.

For mine sent 23rd June
Delivered 27th to AVO,
Cic approved and pick up letter 13th July
Contacted Dhl to pick up and pay 13th July
Delivered 18th July.
Cant say if weekends played a factor in my timeline.
bro morning please i want to ask you according to your previous post why is other POE acceptable for landing except Quebec are there issues over there am asking cos my family friend willingly to recieve me when i get to canada lives in montreal Quebec.

PGD or Msc public health
Msc public health management
Msc Health economics
Mba with focus on health (for people in health)

There are more jobs than graduates in these fields and the pay is good. You can also get jobs in other countries in future.
What do you think about pgc pharmaceutical regulatory affairs or Pgc health informatics I actually want a relevant health program of 1 year that can offer me something good.(Am all about graduate dip/certs)
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by debris: 10:43pm On Jul 15, 2017
brothers and sisters in canny already please what are the booming graduate health care programs excluding nursing one can choose with job opportunities and good pay over there would'nt want to take off the little we have and spend it on programs without relevance or job offers.

mcobex:
if u intend doing upfront medical then do it a day b4 u go to vfs to apply cos u will have to also submit the documents the hospital will give to u. as for the application cost just go with atleast 56k. u will do biometric the same day u go to apply(it's part of the process for paper route), so after u must have applied wait for a day or two to link ur application online then wait and pray for updates from cic
Feeling sad sad didn't know about it, As am applying today what do you think should i leave it and go for medicals today while I go to vsf Monday? Am considering based on time frame days are going.
