You made a point but you didn't go deep with your point. Battery drainage is influenced by different factors,
one is the screen on time,
2 is ram,
3 is processor
4 is gpu.

Most of the time ram and processor consumes more power than the other 2.

Galaxy s7 edge has a 4gb RAM and a combined (quad core and octacore processor that's like 4+8 =12!) with adreno GPU (which has 8cores) .

IPhone 6s plus has a single dual core processor(thats like 10 cores lesser) and 2 GB RAM with power VR GPU (which has 6 cores) so you don't expect both to compare in terms of power drainage while running.

Pick another android phone, and this time check the specs first and make sure they atleast both have the same before making the comparatives.

Logic:

You compare ios and Android = Problem
You compare flagship and flagship = Problem
You compare battery capacities = Problem
You compare resolution vs resolution = Problem
You compare fluidity/apps = Problem

Now you compare soc/gpu/ram. So we should pit an iPhone 6 with Samsung a8 or j5? = Problem

If I'm buying a high end phone which cost close to a thousand usd I should be having the best technology can offer. Why did Apple increase the 6s RAM? Why would Apple include OIS in plus and not in the basic versions? Since resolution doesn't matter, what the purpose of VR?

Having a 2gb RAM phone that obliterates all Samsung flagships and even the Oneplus 3 isn't the best technology?
Having the best chip, A9x isn't the best technology?
Having a low battery capacity that's on par or better than the flagships isn't the best tech?
Oh, having an 8mp that's on par or even better in some isn't tech enough for you?
Having 64gb and 128gb options are not good enough?

Apple will of course increase the RAM to work better with their OS, not for fanboys to argue which number is higher.
IPad pro has a 4gb RAM, suitable for its use. Same logic goes to their phones.

I know cardboard vr works on iPhone 5s which doesn't have a "1080p screen", the soc is age long but still does better than some androids.
If VR isn't available on iPhone 6/6s, why look for a tech that isn't? To brag about what? I'm pretty sure if it were introduced, the iPhones would be on par if not better than the Samsungs.

This is where you guys make mistakes. No doubt iOS conserve battery more than Android but it doesn't automatically translate to good battery life. The S7 is pushing 4 times the display of 6s and 2 times the display of 6s plus but you always neglect this.

I don't know if the iPhone 6S is faster.I don't believe in any speed tests where the apps being compare are not the stock apps that come on the phone.
All you have todo is install a couple apps that are faster or slower on one phone or the other and cheat the test.

Since you don't believe in professionals, can you do your tests yourselves? I was doubting Greenhulk claims till I opened the same apps on an s7 and 6s. Voila, he's right. Since you said benchmarks are trash, what will you say about this one?

Technology ain't static. The 1080p on s5 had worse battery than the QHD on s6, same thing goes for note 3 and note 4. Even z5 premium with the "4k screen" has a better battery life than the normal z5.

The problem is optimization. The QHD on iPad pro battery is top notch. What of the retina display on the MacBook pro?
Okay if you insist, Samsung Tab S2 and iPad air have the same resolution, screen size but the former uses the battery conserving "Super Amoled" and a beefier battery unlike the iPad air 2. Go compare their battery life...
