It's just like people choosing Nikon over Canon of the same class based on Dxomark scores. Dxomark just compiles average scores of this and that to show figures but not test shots.

I'm not saying s7 is not great. It's better in focus, some low light sceneries but majority and even an average Joe will put g5 above s7. Doubt me? Read user reviews of both and check what people worship most in each phone.

Summary: If you want a media kinda phone, bad äss camera with sd card support and ability to change batteries, go for the g5.
