Well, I must admit, 278 is a pretty good score. You can probably stand a chance. As for the use of waec results, I really don't know but it should be really useful too .

Lol... I guess you are a first time Jambite. Anyway, let me tell you the truth. Your 220 won't even get you MLS in uniben(It may sound harsh). I know you may be sad or angry but even an aspirant of physiology is expected to have 250 at least. Uniben is federal,thus having many aspirants. As you know, many science students especially MBBS aspirants all had 280-above. My advice for you is to change your course to way lesser competitive courses like biology,physics,mathematics.
Honestly you have 0%chance with 230 for mbbs in uniben
PS- It is my advice. You can ignore.

I dropped too. I had 267 last year. AAU ekpoma didn't pick me for Law after beating their course cut off mark.
So you dropped a little to two hundred and forty something this year?

I think It has to do with the competition in sciences, like me I scored 299 in last year Utme and missed admission by 1.5 score and this year studied harder and score 309.

That's my opinion too. I was so sure of my exam but i didn't get what i really expected. I'm not here to complain though but the highest i have seen in Arts is 293. I have not seen 300 till now. There might be people out there who got it o but they will be very few unlike the science students.

I really do not think JAMB will deliberately fail any set of students irrespective of their academic field/inclination.

BTW. . .What is your total score?

The highest arts score i have seen is 293. He is a law aspirant in UI.There might be other art students with equally high scores like that but they are few. way fewer compared to the science department. I don't know why Arts didn't pass much.
