I do not care if Boko Haram is sponsored by Allah or USA but interested in anything to bring disintegration to Nigeria. Whether Nigeria remains as dysfunctional in present state or disintegrated into several nation states, crude oil must be mined. |
odumchi: I believe Celestine Ukwu is from Ndokwa in Delta State and not Enugu; he said so in his song "Uso Ndu"; Victor Uwaifo is Ika (which is also in Delta); Morocco Maduka is from Awka; and Eddie Okwedy is from somewhere in Aniocha or Oshimili (Delta). To the best of my knowledge, Celestine Ukwu hailed from Abor in Enugu state not the Aboh of Ndokwa, Delta State. Abor in Enugu state is part of the Ojebe Ogene clan of Igbo land made up of over 13 towns like Okpatu, Ebe, Ukana, Ukeghe, Umulumgbe, etc to mention a few. Victor Uwaifo is a Benin indigene. I guess one can not talk about “hotbeds of highlife music” when musicians mentioned were apprentices to the likes of Mike Ejeagha and Stephen Amechi. I do not know more prominent figures in highlife music in Igbo land than the stars that led bands such as Three Night Wizards, African Rhythm Messengers, African Baby Party, Eastern Brothers, Eastern Minstrel Band, Peacock International Band, Abaraka Dance Band, Skylarks International Band, Oriental Brothers and Entertainment Group |
ilugunboy: Dende...you as an elderly person should not be seen to be fanning the ember of tribalism...but apparently you are always at you best element when such issue is up to discuss..Illegitimate boy, I have been a very good neighbor to many Nigerians but each time issue of national interest shows up for mundane and innocuous discussion, my so-called diversified neighbors seemed to be drugged on opium that induces characters that militate against Ndigbo. I stand firmly on my convictions that Awolowo and his legacy are overly exaggerated beyond human sensibility. As for the cesspit called Nigeria, my wish remains disintegration and it can not come sooner. |
plendil: *Falls from iroko tree*You are a good boy. Please tell the fact to Agbaya-illegitimateboy |
afam4eva: Nwanna, pls let's not tribalize the issue.Nwanna, Nigeria is tribal as hell. Even the source of livelihood in Nigeria is downright tribally constituted. By the way, Achebe being enshrined into Nairaland’s hall of shame is a bad taste of tribalism. |
coogar: something can only be offensive or non-offensive. there's no middle ground. if it was okay for jonathan goodluck then it has to be okay for chinua achebe. at this rate, i won't be surprised if you find your name there next year. i also suggest you should read the book that has infuriated the majority of the members of your forum before taking drastic actions. As usually, dumbass such as you moronically forgot to add the book infuriated the “foolish and idiotic” majority of the members of your forum before taking drastic actions. When the so-called majority of the forum members are dumbasses, basement fools and incompetent jackasses, the use of drastic measures can not be premeditated. |
Anybody who thinks USA has business in Nigeria over Boko Haram saga is a complete fool and should not have country to call home. |
odumchi: Here are a few:Nwannem, when I said you wrote out of ignorance in your previous post, it shows with the above post. jason123:It is a fact deceitful characters such you usually die a miserable death. You can not continue to fool yourself by living a double life. Apparently, you seem to despise anything Igbo according to your posts on Nairaland yet a slimy and foolish son of a bit.ch kept sniffing after a skirt worn by an Igbo girl. |
odumchi: What's wrong in what I said?I shall be all eyes when you list the highlife artists of (60s to 80s) which granted Anambra and Delta the title of “hotbeds" of music in Igboland. |
dayokanu: Dendemoro shebi na your Igbo untrained sons go kidnap Osun speakers wife?Dayolodo, Please, shut up for once. We know certain people who will kidnap skirt in Nigeria. |
jason123: It was carried out by kidnappers of Igbo origin, remember?!Yoruba can never own up for anything. Always angling to reap where they did not sow. |
ilugunboy: Bros...stop before I aimed at you. Please, channel your kidnapping expertise to the usual targets-the wives of speakers of House of Assembly in Yoruba land. |
jason123: The OP is right. I am in Lagos right now and most of my neighbours of Igbo origin didn't travel. Only my Spouse's family traveled to Enugu BUT they are staying in a hotel because of the kidnappers and armed-robbers. They simply can't go home.Any Igbo family that allowed a dirty azz punk such as you to get onto the door step talk less of being acquaintance should be banished from the Igbo community. |
ilugunboy: Of course m.orons like you would find dendemoron entertainingIllegitimateboy, How many loudmouthed punks in Yoruba land worth the efforts of the kidnapers? I am not surprised the sex staved areas boys in Yoruba land set their slant eyes on sex. |
dayokanu: Dendemoron,Dayolodo Foolishness runs deep in Ogbomoso. The kidnappers in Ogbomoso ply their heinous trade for sex. No wonder one Dayolodo thought a man named Kanu is his father. |
Eko ole is a typical bloody Yoruba, all skulls without brain. The bigoted ninny can not comprehend the word- Akure, with or without Ondo State. |
coogar: see this buffoon......I guess you meant lower intelligence frequency in the above conjecture. |
coogar: see this buffoon......If the above crap is an indicator of your so-called penmanship, I urge you to settle for loudmouthed wordsmith, a strait visible among Yoruba. |
Aigbofa: Perhaps Achebe also lack the pedigree to impugn the integrity of Obafemi Awolowo, a parent and grandparent. An achiever whose achievements Achebe cannot equal in two lifetimes.Awolowo remains a none-starter in any form of comparison with Achebe in the stratum of intellectual contribution to mankind. Achebe is more than Awolowo’s contemporary in every human endeavor and had achieved the mantle to assail the political characters of Awolowo. You are neither Awolowo nor the child and need not embolden to vituperate Achebe. Awolowo was politically nobody and at best, a convict who owes Gowon big time for any political relevance in Nigeria. |
coogar: disgusting scumbag....If I call you a deranged maggot, it is a huge misplaced compliment. It is not out order to find a moronic dingbat such as you link a person with the idea of half-baked education. I shall not connect you with any form of education until you can correctly string two sentences together. |
coogar: the following posters should be placed on suicide watch:It takes one suicide prone lapper such as you to articulate issue of suicidal watch. |
Aigbofa: Achebe is a crippled old liar; What part of my statement is incorrect? Mention my parents once more and we will have our own uncivil war right here. You are hugely unqualified and lacked the audacious pedigree to call Chinua Achebe, a parent and grandparent, crippled old liar. Again, your parents were not in Biafra when the events Achebe recounted happened. I have been involved in a real firefight in combat as a teenager and mere war of words as often seen on Nairaland does not faze me. |
Nairaland Political Section does not need moderators and certainly not the type of characters who had recently occupied the position. Anybody who in his\her infinitesimal wisdom elected to enshrine Achebe into the hall of shame is a drunken canteen rat. |
Aigbofa: That is how divisive Achebe is. That crippled old liar. I think ibo bigots here are working overtime to help Seun ruin Nairaland. What a shame. You look idiotic while calling Achebe crippled old liar. I am quite sure your parents were not in Biafra during the civil war. In addition, late Awolowo had on several occasions arrogated the Nigerian policy of starvation as his brainchild. |
Alarji, Gaisuwa ni ke yi. Am back and better. . . Miss you guys. ![]() Yeah, some bigots are now panting heavily at the sight of my name. Time to showdown
Rhinoceros, you are a fool. This long tail and fatherless lizard is very funny and idiotic. I am not surprised at your ill-formed thoughtless postulation because boastfulness is inherent strait among Yoruba. |
Granted I do not have iota of respect for series of elections on the Nairaland Political Section be it hall of fame, shame or poster of the year, it is plain idiotic to stage hall of shame on Nairaland Political Section without a perennial nominee such as late Obafemi Awolowo. The process of induction into the hall of shame on Nairaland political section remains a practical joke without characters such late Awolowo, the tribal icon of Nigerian politics, late Abiola, the International Trained Thief and Tinubu, the drug baron. Anyway, politics is very local and tribal. It is good to notice that Niaraland is not an exception. |
Gowon should have declared you the vanquished and burden you. with reparations for what it cost him to fight the war. thank your lord murtala or obasanjo was not the one at the head, your next 10 generations would not have sold enough spare parts to settle your debt. anyway, remember to give "shout out" to awolowo for bringing radio to nigeria. without that there will be no radio biafra. yeye baboons.
You have written like a drunken canteen rat. |
joeyfire: Yoruba na Yoruba from age to ageYou could not be more correct than the above postulation. |
