Ofunaofu:Always remember nobody invited you, you went there to make profit, your going there benefits you. Don't let it go to your head, outgrow the need to shalaye. The only reason we talk in this is because everyone see us as Nigerians. |
Why always the need to show off? This comes from a place of inferiority complex, you people should grow up, develop your states, employ your people... people will hate you if you want to try to dominate them just because they gave you space. Think, and stop soiling our image everywhere. |
wildernessVoice:Anywhere sharia is declared, jihadists see it as a home base. If you want anarchy and terrorists in your state, declare sharia. I pity yoruba people, they placed a yoruba man as head of muric to deceive and manipulate you people, and he is doing his job. The only book we are compelled and obliged to follow as citizens, is the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria. |
Stop all these nonsense of idolizing these perverted people. |
Too much bragging and chochocho no good, inferiority complex is bad. |
zeyt:I don't care about your religion, man is born free, no man born of woman can tell another human how to live... nobody cares about how you feel, what you practice or whatever. Mind your business, if you people are looking for things to do due to idleness or overzealousness, feed your almajiris and empower them, all these false sense of importance must stop. Nobody or religion is superior to another! The nation is above all religion, the nation's constitution is the only book we live by as a nation. |
flokii:But you people are being sold out to the religion brought in by them, they will use this soft approach to conquer you slowly... Kwara now is now a den for religious extremists, different jihadists and extremists group coming up everyday, because of the sharia practice, they will feel it's a caliphate for them...a lot of Yorubas have denied their traditions for Arab cultures, even saying traditional ways are diabolical, this is conquest of the mind, the highest form of conquest. Your traditional spirituality is richer and realer than what you people are embracing that came from foreign lands, it's quite funny how you leave gold for copper. |
Honestey:Tinubu came on board later...you sound naive, this man was talking about a fulani/northern caucus meeting, before Tinubu got involved...it's same way you people say you are moderates, you don't know they have their agenda, being used like pawns. It's funny because history clearly stated all these, the intentions are clear, it's written in history |
Every sensible man knows Buhari was a bigot, protecting his herdsman brothers, they did their worst while he was in power. He has no respect or regards from me. Fulanization agenda is real, southerners who are claiming to be moderates are being used and are very naive |
Don't flaunt wealth in a rural environment where everyone else is poor, you become a target. |
Nigeria judiciary seems weak, this type of trial ought to be accelerated. Partisan politicking is the bane of Nigeria's development, making our institutions weak and the nation a laughing stock. |
In your face ![]() |
zeyt:In your own words " It involve attempt at stoping any vices in the communities wether by words or action." But in a democratic civilised system, we have the courts and the police, I think the extremists are using action to try to stop perceived vices...you can't tell people how to live, if people want to engage in vices, it's not in your place to use action to stop them, they don't believe what you believe, you are a mere mortal like them, trying to force others to live like you is where the problem is, this always leads to violence and anarchy. There are many things people don't like about you and your beliefs but you are tolerated, the almajiri system that is leading to an epidemic, the noise from worship centres, people don't like these things, but in a secular free country, you tolerate, or move to an extremist religious country. You have no right to tell people how to live, if we all start forcing others to do what we want and not do what we don't want, we will have anarchy...if you feel aggrieved go to court. Trying to force others to be like you is looking for trouble and extremism in itself, I pity North, the violence will get worse, with this type of archaic beliefs. There are hundreds of religions if all religions start moving against perceived vices, this country will go up in flames. This is a twisted mentality, and reeks of narcissism. |
histemple:my point is reporting a situation of supposed libel or defamation should not be followed by arrest, rather investigations carried out, to see if there is an element of truth in the publication...if it is truth it should not be prosecuted as a criminal case. |
GloriousGbola:I think the reason people like him is because he was honest and had good intentions, he wasn't a religious or tribal bigot. |
You turn to the devil, you get what devils get. |
Yaradua was a great man, this is the type of people we acknowledge...God bless his higher soul. By trying hard and finding a way to bring peace to the Niger Delta, his disposition to do what is right in this political climate of Nigerian dirty politics, I give him kudos. |
DeepSight:But slander is spreading false information, which can be very damaging...maybe I ought to put the defamation in quote...not yet proven...Sir Falana is a righteous activist and conscious human being, with the spirit of forgiveness, he will get his good rewards. (had to correct my earlier premise) |
histemple:It should not be a criminal issue, until investigation has been carried out and proven it is false allegations. |
I think libel and 'defamation' should be false, for it to be a crime,. reasonably... sounding out a suspicion or crime should not be punished criminally, the authorities first need to investigate the allegations... Nigerian police should try more to do investigations before arresting, I know some of them do in some cases, but in some cases they believe what the complainant say, arrest before investigating, it should be investigation before arrests, to preserve human rights and dignity. |
jaszplus12:You are welcome |
What did he really achieve for Nigeria? Nigeria gave him a lot of previledges and good life, he benefitted from Nigeria much more and did not do anything for Nigeria to move it forward progressively. |
jaszplus12:Most of them are ignorant, remember the religion is about memorising...I was trying to explain to them that ritual means religious practices not dark arts as they make it seem...every religion has it's practices, this is rituals. |
JIBO4REAL:They get what they do inspired by the hadiths, to buttress, the stories of conquest passed down is definitely an inspiration for the radicalised youth in the religion. We know down the lines of thousands of years adulteration and copycats occur, a lot of blood thirsty radicalised men and women have been misled probably by their interpretations of the occurrence of history, the times of old was a time of struggle, people have to build armies to survive, nowadays it's different times. I think the heads of the religions must participate in the fight against those violent radicalised people, (perhaps by a radicalised imam), under a radicalised version or sect of the religion. The moderates in the religion who love peace should join the rest of the progressive world, alienate those evil ones from their midst ban them from their worship centres and fold, so the kids and youths will see and know that they are counterfeits and saboteurs of the religion. remove those extremists because their sects and versions of the religion based on their interpretations will lead to more violence in the future, and violence leads to retrogression and poverty. Times have changed, everyone can clearly see the ills of religious extremism, the violence, displacement, animosity, retrogression in the North is directly linked to religious extremism, the almajiri system feeds this violence churning out a lot of untrained and uninspired youths. Other religions too have this versions of adherents who misinterprete what they like about their religion as it suits their interest, purposes and motives, but people are concerned about this particular religion because the violence affect our existence, people can say Christians preach prosperity etc, but that is different from extremists killing people...we are not talking for the fun of it. Extremists terrorists hiding under the umbrella of the religion are killing people, we need to get rid of them. |
zeyt:Can you explain the idea behind the jihad and kafir doctrines? |
Lionessza6:Their women are forced to cover their heads and relegated to background, all these freedoms and equality you enjoy is not in there. |
Hardeybohwarley:When you exit they will bury you here not saudi arabia, they won't give you free space there and you can't afford it. |
omoredia:You are right, both Christianity and their religion borrowed practices from Judaism, this was the first popular religion. |
AllBlack:The annual worldwide total money used in hajj trips is sure more useful in feeding the poor. Priorities are different. |
