i think the incoming government, the Press and NGO's should press for more of this for all and every tier of govt in Nigeria, forcing them to be publishing their contracts awards in public domain, this can go a very long way in enhancing transparency, like there should be an NGO that will be coordinating a central database where all the awards and contracts from all the 774 local governments, the 36 states, the FG, all the MDAs and every other public organizations for the public to be keeping record of. If not for the internet, we won't be seeing this facts and figures.
I think the APC in part of their campaign promises said they are gonna be publishing the record of any contract above #100 million and we are waiting for that.
my verdict abt fashola is this; the dude fashola performed above average going by the Nigerian standard, but as you will have it anywhere else in the world or most especially Nigeria, many of those contracts are inflated. But i think its beta than the PDP guys that will make provisions, also inflate the amounts but u just won't see anything to show for it.

Bottom Line, both through history and present day distribution, Kwara is not/never a Hausa state. No trace of Hausa or anything in the state, kwara claiming to be Hausa is noting but a scam that other regions of Nigeria has been falling for a long time, we are not claiming it not for anything but for whats in it for us to gain , just like in this particular case of Bukola Saraki's. If Bukola eventually becomes the next senate president, that means its 2 yorubas among the 3 most powerful persons in Nigeria (*dancing shoki*).
