What is even more baffling is that he is newly registered, has about 5 posts and hasnt made a cogent argument for going to CA without adequate funds in any of them, save the tedious 'rightly said' or 'word' that a simple 'like' could have helped with.

My conclusion is this person is most likely a thread member with a new moniker (Think Esther, Chrisviral's alter ego). That, or just a desperate ploy to get attention.

It's not true. I completed mine in a day. I actually went there to book an appointment first, the appointment can however be booked by calling them.

When I called IoM in April, i was told 2days, they also sent a mail and an information package to me

Read @Kepner posts again, he/she got his admission letter (hardcopy) in 6 weeks, but he received his Pdf copy way before then.
If you have to pester your departmental admin or whoever needs to be pestered, do oo and find out about your pdf copy... Lol
I almost missed my admission and the conditional deadline because I had issues with my email address and I didnt even know. I feel you should have your pdf copy already.
For my school, its the date on the pdf copy that is used to determine acceptance deadline, not the date you receive the paper (hardcopy). So I feel its important to find out if pdf copy has been sent.
Well Nairalanders in your school will know better.

Since its paper route you're on track.. Next mail should be the dispatch mail.. Then you go pick up with ur trv in it.

I was also happy when I saw there's a med testing centre in Ikeja. But when I called to make enquiries, was told I would have to come twice, because the test will take two days
So I just made d 1 day island trip.

If you are including employment letter, payslips etc, you should submit your SOA too.. My opinion...Submitting employment details without SOA looks incomplete.

This issue came up in another forum I'm in (mostly asians) and the advice given was to include a sponsor despite the scholarship, and not to submit only the scholarship details.
IMO, Maybe because its not Canadian-funded, Cic wants to know there are other funds available apart from the scholarship

Despite the fact that you submitted scholarship details, I think cic still wants you to submit Statement of account (doesn't have to b buoyant) and details of a sponsor, if you don't have personal assets.
