This thinking for VOs.. CIC will not turn someone's head. If you can defer your admission, it is better to request for your file (GCMS) so you will know what the VO considered. Apart from financial reasons, the reasons usually ticked (purpose of visit etc), we can only speculate, we don't know for sure. Applications are treated case-by-case. |

Team12: Request for proof from the hospital to be sure that it has been sent. The proof is exactly like the eMedical form you were given to upload during your app, but this one contains a comment that states the exact date it was submitted. Then send the proof via email to accra, dasall! Thnks ma! It has been resolved and I've received 'med passed' update |

I believe you can use whatever you have to your advantage, so I used my voluntary/community development activities to cover up the small gap (HIV and Malaria awareness, I organise and give free vocational training etc.) I included CV, incase VO does not take time to read my detailed LOE, CV is straightforward and highlighted my activities. I read through the thread from part 5 till present. It pays to read back, so you will know what questions to ask and who to ask. And I'm a simple applicant |

Team12: So happy for you. Congratulations!!! Since you have called the hospital, that's the first step (hope you gave them your UMI number?), but ensure you call again today to be sure they have sent it. Mine was sent in less than 30 mins after I called them. The VO herself.. Thank u oo! Yes, I was asked to call back in 30 minutes.. |

CoCoLav: Now I can speak my mind. Its unfair when you guys only come here when you need help. Some of you have been so called silent followers and get your medical calls but you don't tell the house. You will now come back when your medicals don't go smoothly or you have other issues.
The second category are those who come here to tell us they have been called for medicals and after that they disappear. When did you apply? No answer, what route? No answer, oya documents nko, that one is even worse. Meanwhile, it is from this same place you got clues on the documents to package and steps to take. Its really unfair. The information that you have been called for medicals is useless to us if you won't tell us the documents or other relevant info. If you won't tell us what we want to know then pls stuff your good news down your throat cos personally its of no benefit.
The above is said with all due respect and not directed at any particular person Spot on.. Like! Like!! Love!!! |

mizIvy: Don't mind those vo. I always tell people dat some of these VOs na enemy of progress. Anyways it's obvious it has nothing to do with ur employment or sponsor. Maybe they are not convinced of ur intentions or maybe it's cos you emailed them, so they just rush thru ur documents to get it over it without checking important documents or even reading ur sop. I have notice in most cases if u send them that reminder mail they assume u r too desperate n it's instant denial. Same tin happen to me wen I applied for UK tourist visa. I was over anxious n i emailed them, immediately they replied that they've not yet process it n ll let me know wen they do, like 5 hours later I got their rejection mail. All am trying to say is reapply, write a great sop infact 3pages is allow then just let it be especially wen u have 1 - 2months to resumption. I know u don't want any pity party but I'm feeling bad. U r suppose to be my tavellin companion na. Now I hv to start looking for Some1 else *sadface*. I don't think it's because of the mails. A friend of mine bombarded cic with emails in January, day and night. Infact she was beginning to sound insultive, yet she got her TRV |

dbabba: House, I think this is getting abnormal, even those who submitted online long after some of us have gotten their response while my own application will be 8 weeks tomorrow. Please I need the contact (email) of the embassy so I can lay my complaints. I really plan to bombard them tomorrow if I don't get anything.
Or is it that they are not responding to the college applicants cos I notice most who have gotten theirs after my submission were university students? I dnt think it's because you're a college applicant, mine will also be 8weeks tomorrow and I'm for Masters. Check the list, University applicants are also experiencing same. Sighs |
