But during the time of Buhari because they want to restructure Nigeria

because they're playing opposition huh

N.B :- Yoruba's have been playing opposition since 1960

Weldone guys, what a thought provoking thread this is...I respect you guys views on having a country that is purely for Yoruba.. but the truth we have to tell ourselves is that we need to use the templates of successful countries around the world in building a new nation. ..example America is successful cos of its diversity. US govt for centuries have realised that creating a country on the basis of common interest devoid of ethnic or racial interest accelerates development. I so much believe we do not plan to have another useless state in Africa but one that will compete with the Asean tigers and European greats like Sweden and Norway in no distant future.
in my opinion, I think it will be better if we create a country where any group of people that wants to be part is allowed to join irrespective of race, tribe or ethnicity....i am certainly certain that many people of igbo dissent will even prefer to be part of a country formed in Western Nigeria than Biafra. so for other tribes as well I believe ...

Trust me a country of inclusion will better serve the Yoruba agenda than a country of exclusive Yorubas...A country that has a Yoruba man; who naturally is an administrator , strategist and a man of Igbo dissent who naturally is an industrialist will easily achieve greatness than a single one....what I am saying is that we should plan for a country for all willing parties and a constitution that gives everyone equal right and opportunities ofcourse with tested allegiance...some might say we are creating a mini Nigeria again...the truth is there is nothing wrong with Nigeria if not that the participants were not allowed to decide on their participation but forced to participate, hence the reason why we are here today.
Bro, i dont like what you just wrote. You have taken your own to another level. You talked about European giants like norway and sweden. Do you know that they are almost monoethnic? In sweden for example, the swedes make up 90 percent of their country while the minority finns are just 5 percent. Asians tigers like south korea and japan are 99 percent occupied by one tribe.
What do you mean by yorubas and igbos should form same country? I dont know where you come from but pls if you are not yoruba dont comment.
That your second paragraph is total bull-shit.

a wholly Yoruba nation yes, tho I feel some of the middlebelt can stand alone, we may need to accommodate those who want to but not to our own detriment.
The Ebiras now may want to join since the okun people of kogi will be in a Yoruba nation. we can't say no to dem and dey can't stand alone.
Ebiras can form middle-belt republic or whatever with other minorities in the middle belt.

Well mono ethnic societies in Europe comes to mind but in Africa, few can only be mentioned like Benin republic(that is if they are mono ethnic society anyway). I would have to carry out a research on this.
Japan and south korea are also mono-ethnic. And they one of the most innovative and developed countries today

I have stayed in Benin republic before. They are not monoethnic at all. They have many ethnic groups. Even ghana has lesser ethnic groups than benin. Yorubas indigenes make up 14 percent of benin republic sha, but the fongbes and ajahs are the largest. I heard there are 33 ethnic groups in togo.
You can use botswana as an example even though they are not mono-ethnic but in the african sense, you can can call them one.

i dont like the idea of a yoruba nation. we yorubas should be more open to the minorities as they feel more comfortable with us than any other major tribe in nigeria. the SS and middle belt will be part of us. and we all are going to write a new constitution that we will all agreed upon. i don't want a tribal country. just want an egalitarian country.
No bro. If we include the minorities, what then is the essence of leaving Nigeria in the first place when we will still face the same problems we faced in Nigeria? Will it be sensible to form another "Mini-Nigeria"? Let the minorities stay on their own. We dont want them to accuse us of holding their progress. We dont want anybody to start crying of being marginalized.

Think about it.

Back to topic, I like the intellectual discussion among yoruba goons here and I foresee a greater SW economic boom just that the Nigerian elites are the ones killing this country.

Should oduduwa rep secede tomorrow, I would not want any of the known elites to hold strategic positions. Fresh and corrupt free people are what we need at the helms of power
Believe me bro, we wont. There is a reason why most indigenous mono-ethnic societies have very little corruption.

Nigeria is a failed system. In nigeria, we hardly have up to 4 hours electricity in a day! A country with 180 million that still manages 5000 megawatts. We provide our on light with power Generator which is harmful. For how long will this continue?
Yorubas need to leave this failed entity. We are better than this.

I agree that Southern Unity will minimize the likelihood for conflict with the North. But, this idea that Northerners are any less separatists is a myth. There are thousands of Mohammed Yusufs (the non-militant founder of Boko Haram) in Northern Nigeria. I am talking of Muslim leaders who desire a Muslim ONLY country. The Arewa Youth that gave ultimatum to Igbos are also sick and tired of one Nigeria.
Well i think you are right. Some Northerners support nigeria disintegration.

Bro, there will be no war if our leaders support succession. When igbos, Niger-deltans and yorubas decide to leave this useless country, there is absolutely nothing the hausa-fulani can do. They cant defeat us.
Take this to the bank.
The only problem with us is that Yorubas and Igbos dont like themselves. Also, the Igbos are confused and they dont know where biafra starts and stops. They always include Minority south who will not go with them.
The Hausa-fulanis dont have any power. They are just benefiting from the disunity of the south.
I also do not support southern unity because i don not like the Igbos

That's the omoluabi spirit!

That's why you see me come hard on some Yoruba Muslims here. As you can see, you won't find them (those ones that lick Hausa Fulani assessment) on a pro Yoruba interest thread like this, but they're always the first, second, third commenters on every pro Nigeria thread, Pro Hausa Fulani one Nigeria thread, anti biafraaaaud thread. They've made themselves advisers to biafrauudians on how to play Nigerian politics. They lick Buhari's hairy assess. I don't know why most Yorubas don't think. Do you know how much it hurts me that HAusa Fulani controls our port? Something that should be manned by Yorubas, same way anything petroleum is manned by a Niger deltan and anything Abuja related is manned by Hausa Fulani. yet we go about supporting this impunity and shouting on top of our voice advocating for one Nigeria that only seeks to empower the Hausa Fulani.

Look at the way they've planted themselves everywhere. They control the military apparatus. While their loyal and docile slaves in person if some Yoruba don't know more than to blow grammar, wear shirts and tie, and start gracing every thread to oppose Yoruba standalone and supporting the Fulani oligarchy. Even sai baba people don't go to this length to defend him. May be because they know they've some loyal, low self esteem, docile Yoruba slaves as foot soldiers. All they need do is deceive them with religion affiliation and brotherhood. Yet the supposedly sophisticated and educated Yoruba have refused to wake up and smell the coffee.

One even called me a pdp loser. Me that supported APC during the campaign. my friends knew as a pro apc. I even donated to apc campaign. I started losing it when Fulani herdsmen started invading Yoruba lands and killing our people. Yet presidency kept quiet and said they were from Mali.

Six months to appoint ministers and so many more clueless moves that vegetable had made. Yes, Gej is ckuess but vegable president has taken it to another level. He's not only incompetent but daft, tribalistic and favors only his kits and kittens...

Follow this guy (Gbonka Ziano Ebiri) on facebook. He's a pro Yoruba interest guy. His posts are always deep and always set me thinking.
Bro, it is very annoying. This is why you see me attack these eeeddiots every time. When you insult them, they will say you are not Yoruba. I have never met a foolish, crazy, useless set people like these idiots. They irritate me to the bone!!!
If the Igbos want to go, how is that their business? They will never comment of this thread. Never! But when they see any Biafra thread, they jump on it and start their "one Nigeria" slogan. Yet the Fulanis control their ports. These fools will never talk of how we can collect our right back from them. They will never talk about the future of Yoruba land and its people. They will ignore.
As for the Fulanis controlling our ports. I cant tell you how annoyed i am. I just dont know what to say. I am speechless.
I heard that Fulanis have been controlling this port for over 20 years.
I will always insult these bastards that insult the Igbos for wanting out.
Foolish crazy bastards!!!!!!!
