how I was almost scammed today by scammers. haven't read alot about how people were scammed .. let me share my experience today.

I got a call from my younger brother this morning tellingvl me about someone who asked him if he is interested in civil defense job, my brother said he wasn't interested but had a brother who was. fast forward he sent the man's number (engr. Ben) to me telling me to call him . I later called the him and introduced myself to him we talked nd I told him I was interested he then gave me the number of one Mr. Akpan to call. fast forward I called him and we talked he asked some questions about my qualification's and other questions which i answered. he then told me how lucky I was that I should pay N25,500 to a certain acct number ti buy the civil defense replacement form.
he said the application letter would be released next week and he claimed to be a civil defense officer. at first I was happy that I have finally gotten a job bt then u decided to check online for any C.D replacement formvl bt couldn't find any. so I know it was a scan, I called the first man (engr. Ben) told him I would lyk to knw him face to face atleast to know who is helping me he told me to come to his office at Abuja.

scam spoted, I cut the phone and he called me back, immediately I then told him u didn't have such amount of money he became furious and started shouting how unserious I was and how he normally helps people with N300,000 . I cut the phone aqain he called aqain telling me that he is willing to pay the N25,000 for me but I should send him etisalat recharge card if 500.


so people I just wanna use this medium to appeal to all unaware Nigerians out their to beware of this scam . thanks y'all and have a gr8 NYT
