This one na for social distraction nau. |
Your linguistic criticism is valid, however, your sweeping assumption of a money-influenced turnaround of the protesters, isn't. ozoebuka1: |

Partial knowledge doesn't make for full understanding and robust engagement...What you do not know, you can't engage. Reuben could have remained an armchair journalist/editor/columnist and castigate government, polices and social issues through his professional prism without a deeper insight with which he now addresses social issues...How many of his colleagues (ex/current editors) can write like this? It's only myopic to think that everyone who joins government must dump their personal/professional convictions. Yes, you might not be able to push your personal agenda for the moment and you've got to be loyal to your employer without sacrificing too much. Perhaps, one reason Nigeria is falling apart is the lack of a critical mass to effect desired change. If only 30% of government workers believe in professionalism, honesty and dignity, it will be so hard to influence the other 70% with these principles. But if the reserve is the case, your thought is as valid as mine. The Yorubas say, one tree doesn't make a forest... We need working alliances and valid critical mass to move Nigeria forward. oruma19: |
Political lie ![]() Who's your age mate in the Nigerian political circle; Obansajo, Atiku, Buhari, GEJ, Saraki, Ibori? No one is too old to rule in Nigeria/Africa and that's the true affirmation of the maxim 'Leaders of TOMORROW'. Tomorrow will always come and thankfully there's no age limit to the leadership bar, here. lonelydora: |
That's ignoble in Nigeria. Resigning from a public office, who does that in this clime? Even if you wanted to, your allies and political camp won't support you. What do you think it cost Buhari to finally leave Nigeria for this vacation and hand over to Osinbajo. We're too power driven in this control, maybe not for ourselves alone but for the satisfaction of the people within our circle. cooljude: |
Interesting assertion, but, please show the numbers, at least the basic expenses. Love Machine: |
So, you can't compose your restlessness to read this basic 1,500 word article? But you can watch BBN for hours. Leader(s) of tomorrow, I hail thee! lonelydora: |

So, you're using us to test code tweaking scheme on YouTube and you needed to open a thread for that? Anyway, all the best. Faz3: |
OP, nice one. But this isn't anything new. Almost every glo user knows this. Perhaps, the validity of the 3G isn't 7days but 14. You can use it the following weekend if not exhausted the initial week. For airtel users, there are three options (I know of); 1. There are some select airtel sim that allows for 1G for N100 weekend data plan. Google to learn more. 2. You can subscribe to either of the midnight packages...N25 for 500MB or N200 for 1.5G. Head over to Google. 3. General weekend plan...250MB + 200min for #200 or so. For MTN, you can officially get 1GB for N500 valid for 7days. Mid-night package at N25 for 1GB/500MB. Just do some further research to learn more. |

I've always known that Singapore isn't a country for hustlers. Quite expensive, highly structured by the law and intolerant of Dysfunctional social behaviours. This is what Nigeria should be but we lost it a long time ago. We ain't even trying to get closer to Malaysia, a second phase of Singapore. #SMH |
I presume Buhari took the booklets to London and also kept some in the other room. Miles300: |

Poster, your incoherence with timing is disturbing. The post opens with 'arrived today', next 'they were officially received at 4pm'. Meanwhile, you published this on Nairaland at about 7am. The time is currently few minutes past 3pm. Isn't that worrisome? CastedDude: |

Something is wrong with us in this country. What's the rationale behind this? Is she the only nursing mum in the camp? From whose account is this financed? How did she emerge winner of an uncontested draw? What's the psychological effect of this on other people in the camp? How'd she sustainably manage the house? Let's hope this is not one arrangee thingy. |
OP, na wah for your headline ooo. "3"... 3 what? Goats, Persons, Angels? Make una dey give unasef brain when casting headlines. |
