Okija_juju: What is dry Abulution?!If you are not able to do ablution because of your illness and inability to do it, then you should do tayammum (“dry ablution”). This means that you should strike bare earth or any dry suface i.e walls etc once with the palms of your hands, then wipe your face, and the back of each hand with the palm of the other, then you should pray. olasesi: .....Hmmmm nice...Water is very precious in space. Astronauts don't take showers, they usually make use of antiseptic wipes similar to baby wipes to clean up but in his case tayammum (Dry ablution) was the solution. 3 Likes |

wellmax: Where was he facing? Given his peculiar situation , A consensus was reached by the ulama that , it is sufficient to face the earth alone. Also given that the sun rises and sets approximately every hour while in orbit, his point of take off was used as reference for the timing of his 5 daily prayers . 17 Likes |

Remember this Guy Geert Wilders, the Dutch leader who created the anti-Islamic film ‘Fitna’. The film that released in 2008 hurt the sentiments of Muslims around the world and caused a lot of furor in Muslim nations. Arnoud van Doorn, former member of the Party for Freedom in Netherlands and a former antagonist of Islam, was one of the thousands who came to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. Van Doorn, who until the end of 2011, was a strong supporter of Geert Wilders. Earlier this year, van Doorn declared in public that he had embraced Islam. In his quest to produce another anti-Islam film, he took to learning more about the religion that he strongly advocated against. He read and learned in depth the Holy Quran and Islamic teachings and later became spiritually inspired by Islam. Van Doorn had come to Saudi Arabia earlier this year to perform Umrah. He expressed his feelings while performing Hajj; he said that his eyes were filled with tears of joy ever since he arrived in Makkah. He added that he was living the best moments of his life, reported Akhbaar24. He said that he found in Islam what he was lacking and searching for in his previous life. He went for Hajj to ask Allah for forgiveness and to pray that Allah erases his past sins. It is his wish to live in Al-Madinah close to the Prophet’s mosque; however his family and work hinder him from fulfilling his wish. Van Doorn is planning to produce a film that defends Islam and shows the truth. Then your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones or even harder. For indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and there are some of them that fall down for fear of Allah . Tomorrow is the Day of Arafat The most critical day of Hajj. If missed, cannot be compensated for, which is why the Prophet (pbuh) said, "Hajj is Arafah!" For those outside of Hajj, it was designated as the greatest single day for fasting in the year. The Prophet (pbuh) said that one who fasts that day and it is accepted, will have the minor sins of the past year and the coming year erased!!! Allaahu akbar. May Allah bless us all with its acceptance, those of us on Hajj and those at home. Let each and everyone of us pray for the entire Muslim Ummah to rid of all the calamity that has befallen us, May Allah release us of the fitnah of the oppressors We should also pray for our country Nigeria.
