Politics / Why Nigerian Youths Must Wake Up To Their Feet And Say No To Their Defeat by deeprinz(m): 5:15pm On Jan 30, 2018
NIGERIA YOUTH WAKE UP TO YOUR
FEET AND SAY NO TO YOUR DEFEAT BY COMR YAHAYA ZAKI
I carefully x-rayed the political climes in Nigeria since the advent of democracy, and I intentionally omitted the pre-1999 era for obvious reasons. We are all aware that it has always been the same cabals since the independence and the military juntas. Nigeria is endowed with young talented people who are doing great in their various fields, name it, Engineering, Science, Arts, Education, Commerce, Agriculture, Entertainment, Fashion, Banking, Entrepreneurship, E- commerce, Divinity, among others, except in Politics. I said except politics and I mean it. Most of the few young people who are on the corridors of power are certainly not in power because they don’t even know what goes on in there. Many of them are not too different from being house Boys and Girls. The political Godfathers will not allow or listen to them but only to command them and nothing more. The argument has always been that young people are not matured or experienced enough to handle a complex country as Nigeria, you know, this sort of assumption is a calculated attempt to blackmail the young people into accepting that they are incapable because those who gained power at their very young age have never planned to relinquish or quit the stage for others to come in, they rather prefer to fill in their own children and relatives. Nigerian youths are brilliant in all aspect of life, they are resourceful, genuinely skillful and can handle any task given to them, but here, the political gimmicks are thinking otherwise, they see youths as mere objects of voting, instruments and the roles the old people have confined these young people to are to continue to use them as political thugs, errand boys and girls in the names of Personal Assistants, Senior Special Assistant on this and that. Looking at what is obtainable in other country like the US, UK, Canada, and other advanced country and even some African countries, you will be hearing that a boy or a girl of 21 years is a member of parliament, but in Nigeria, the old politicians don’t want the young people to come close to the real political leadership, they have invented and set all manners of barriers to stop them from being competitors. It is only in Nigeria you are eligible to vote when you are 18 years but you cannot aspire to contest for leadership unless you are 30 or 35 years old, even at 30 or 35 there are offices you cannot aspire for, is this not ridiculous?.
In the same Nigeria, we have seen toddlers, children become kings, Ezes, Emirs and took over traditional leadership to lead a lot of people. Why is Politics so different? I am asking, if that is the case, the same constitution which was deviously crafted to stop the young people from aspiring for leadership should also say that, eligibility to vote is when a person turns to 30 or 35 years. To my knowledge, the old politicians who are all people of the same circle irrespective of which political party they belong do not only use age as barrier to prevent our young people from aspiring for leadership, they invented all kinds of tactics such as ethnicity divide, Religious divide, political violence, Money politics, rigging, diabolical means e.t.c which ordinarily will scare and put fears in our young people who have not muster enough courage to toe their line of do or die politics, I am not encouraging any young person to take after them please. The same old politicians the young people wants to kill themselves for either in APC or the PDP in Nigeria are sensible enough and have started aligning, horse trading and forming coalitions to forge a common front ahead of 2019 just like they did in the past elections, can’t the Nigerian youths also adopt this aged long strategy to unite to get powers, how long will the youths continue to be pawns in the hands of these political elites? To the old politicians, most of them especially, it is about power grabbing and not a venture or quest to transform the country, they are aware that the more transformation and education to the mind and soul of Nigerians the less the power for them, but the youths are thinking otherwise, the youths wants to make their marks known, they want to make names that will last for decades through serious development and transformation of the country. To an average young person who wishes to aspire for political office, the first thing your friend and family will ask you is that “hope say you don cook yourself”. This is very sad and ridiculous because that has been the foundation laid by the old crooks to continue to remain and perpetuate themselves in leadership. I sincerely hope that the youths will seize the 2019 elections to make a remarkable difference since the invention of our democracy.

Travel / Amazing Photos Of The Wonderful River That Looks Like Dragon In Portugal by deeprinz(m): 11:42am On Jan 30, 2018
The blue dragon river is a wonderful River that looks like Dragon in Portugal, the river which is also known as the Odeleite river is in the municipality of Castro Marim in (Algarve , Portugal ). Many people don't really know much about this river as little is known of the history of this awe-striking river. The people that leave near its shores never considered it to be uncommon until photographer Steve Richards, saw it from above and revealed its fantastic form in a photograph.
The mythological shape of the Odeleite has astounded both the Portuguese and Web users since Richards published this image on Flickr. Its outline is exactly like a blue Chinese dragon. A long, scaly, meandering blue dragon.

Recently, Nigeria has witnessed an epic increase in the Internet biz, with more and more developers coming into the online market to earn some living, e-commerce still tops the chart of online income with a daily increase in trend.
Recently, I came across an online mall
named CheapCheap , after accessing the site, and as the name implies i thought this is a very great opportunity for me to purchase products online at a low discount. Although I had the normal fear of a Nigerian in me, so I decided to buy something worth taking the risk, something that doesn't cost much, which i purchased and had the goods delivered to me within 2days. It was a wow, and since then I have always been a regular customer at cheapcheap, I am now into retailing, I buy there at a cheaper price and resell at my own price making a few profit for myself. So i thought i should share this with my blog readers so that other Nigerian youths like me can earn some living from www.cheapcheap.com.ng

This is the funniest shit I have ever seen. You do not give the country a bad name? Fulani killings, Boko Haram, Sharia laws on non Muslims, Fulani armed robbers operating all over Nigeria, corruption in high places condoned by Buhari, those are not bad name enough?

The North of Nigeria has the highest cases of disease, illiteracy, death, poverty, in Africa and that is not bad name enough for Nigeria? The number of drug addicts is highest in the north than anywhere else, as is the ritual killings that go unreported. 99% of all panhandlers in Nigeria are from the North.

Where do I start from?

I laugh when the easterners use insurgency and herdsmen/farmers crisis as a yardstick to define the north and northerners.

We all know the issue of insurgency was a plot by the easterners to wipe out the north,
The north has always been the topic of everybody's discussion, why?
Because the north in terms of administration is in the forefront, even if many easterners will disagree with me, administrative rule has been in existence even before the existence of the so call "Igbo race". The north might not be as educated as the west but it is more politically capacitated than any other part in Nigeria.
Talking about the issue of herdsmen, these are people employed by your wicked politicians to destroy buhari' image for the upcoming elections since he has refused to die. But you have all got it wrong, because buhari was chosen by God to lead the nation and bring an Everlasting change to the affairs the past leaders have destroyed.
North will continue to prosper irrespective of the evil plot of the West and east. You have tried to reduce our population by killing our people through boko Haram but yet the north has refused to fall. You decided to destabilize benue state by introduce another set of thugs to kill innocent people, perhaps the perpetrators have no conscience. The north shall never fall.

LONG LIVE THE NORTH.

Politics / The Problems And Prospects Of The 2019 General Elections By Abubakar Shafii by deeprinz(m): 9:45pm On Jan 23, 2018
By Abubakar Shafii

Nigeria is a year away to conduct another democratic elections, this will be the sixth time the country is witnessing a democratic election since the transition of government from a military rule to a civilian democratic regime.
Many Nigerians are however worried about the upcoming election due to the economic instability, insecurity and inflation of commodity in the market especially the recent scarcity and hike in prices of fuel which is still being experienced in many parts of the country, these problems are bringing the country to its knees.
So far, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has not declared any intentions to seek re-elections although some notable politicians and stakeholders have endorsed him for a second term.
However, Nigeria might have faced severe decrease in economic productivity in the last three years but the government has tried to tackle that by empowering and encouraging production of food to feed the nation through agriculture and this has reduced the economic inflation rates by 15%, yet the masses are not happy as the APC ruling government has failed to fulfill its campaign promises made in the last election, the country still has problems of lack of food and portable drinking water in many rural areas, lack of power and good roads. These might cause the ruling APC party a large loss in the upcoming elections.
Also, the country is still facing various problems of insecurity in different parts like the recent massacre that was carried out in some communities of Benue state by Fulani herdsmen, Boko haram insurgency in the North east which the incumbent government has fought relentlessly and weakened the activities of the insurgents.
The herdsmen uprising is a major concern to many Nigerians at home and in Diaspora and this is sabotaging the efforts of the federal government in tackling crimes, and acts of terrorism.
If the government does find an immediate solution to this problems then the 2019 general election will be a hoax.
The largely 200million population of Nigeria wants to vote in peace but with the insecurity at stake, elections might not be as expected unless the issues is tackled.
Every Nigerian wishes for a democratically corruption free nation and many will applaud the efforts of the government in fighting corruption while some see it as a lopsided fight against corruption.
Since the Muhamadu Buhari led administration has not declared any intentions to seek re-election, “will the country go back to its corruption and impunity phase come 2019 if there is a transition in government?”
This is a question on the minds of many Nigerians.
