You got it all wrong...Been a Christian or pastor alone without other important factors myt not work.. Buhari picked Pastor Bakare as running mate(CPC) but he lost.. Atiku picked Obi, a Christian and also lost..

Mr. Man, he chose a christain more accepted, in whom his church leader well respected and accepted all over the world including Nigeria. His credentials also surpass the rest he had chosen before him. It's only a demented mind that would not see the difference between those he had used before and the erudite Osinbajo.
Saraki only did the party good by not allowing Muslim-muslim ticket because it won't fly and APC would have lost that election with heavy defeat. The christain body that ordinarily voted because of Osinbajo would not have voted for APC but would rather vote for Jonathan another christain on the ballot.
This has shown why he was fighting tooth and nail so that Saraki would not be Senate President. He even went to call for a meeting that Mr. President never called because if PMB wanted the meeting, he would not have sent a letter to the clerk of the National Assembly for the proclamation of the 8th Assembly. How would someone in his right sense sent a letter for proclamation and at the same time, the same day to give effect to the same letter, he would now call a meeting. Some of us said it that time that PMB didn't call for any meeting, that there is one hand of Esau somewhere that doesn't want Saraki. With this Tinubu revelation, it has shown where that hand of Esau comes from.
Because somebody saved the party from defeat, the next is to make sure you block him from becoming Senate President.
Tinubu desperation is out of this world. How would a sensible person even contemplate Muslim-muslim ticket in this our plural society, where religion plays center role.
He tried to be vice president to Ribadu, Ribadu knew that can't work. He tried same with Atiku, Atiku told him, it can't work out. Desperation doesn't allow him to think. He thought everything is all about money and money. He doesn't know one of the sensibility in our society today is religion.
If by accident he wins APC primary, same way he would go and choose northern Muslim as vice, because he knows the north will not agree to any Christain north and thereby make APC lose their political fortune because Atiku will beat him blue black and white.

Even with Muslim-Muslim ticket, Atiku cannot beat Tinubu...The political permutation is not just abt pdp/Atiku alone.

To say Tinubu is only popular in southwest is sentimental and biased. Peter Obi is popular in the southwest and some parts of the North. You said Tinubu will be stoned with pure water if he comes to the east which means they know him very well but hate him. We are talking of popularity. Let me burst ur brain. Many secondary schools students in the North Sothsouth and southeast will know the name of Lagos state governor for instance than other states outside their respective regions. Sentiment apart Tinubu is popular nationwide and not just Yoruba land alone. Just Like the way Atiku is popular nationwide.
