Congratulations to 'em. But most of the youths who will be involved in the pre/post political violence aren't Internet users or on any major social media network. How effective is this going to be?
Why not choose people that echo the voice of the street and not the elite. huh

I will recommend these two movies 1. God's not dead (2014) 2. Left behind (2014). These two movies have helped and moved me a lot. Don't give up there is a God up there even sometimes when it seems he's not there or he can't hear. JustBelieve

Is cluelessness a criteria for being a follower of the clueless old soldier huh

What would you say if Ghana were to expel Nigerians from their own country today?

So much PRETENCE and re-packaging of a very CORRUPT man who said Abacha did not steal our money and should be canonised as saint shocked
FYI... Nigeria was a migration receiving country buoyed by oil-led employment in various sectors in the early '70s. Because of population pressure, political problems and a decling economic growth there was a mass explosion of foreigners (alien quit order)
Ghana also expelled all illegal migrants in 1969 . he did what was the best for nigeria then.Buhari come 2015!

InvestmentRe: I Need Suggestions On How/what To Invest My Savings On(urgent) by DeevaB(op): 4:44pm On Aug 07, 2014
Dsage1: You welcome!

Since you've decided to buy shares(which is good for future purpose), I will advise you checkout for good ones. Like I said before, get a good broker who's ready to assist you. These are what you need to know before you chose one;

1. How often they declare share bonus and dividends.

2. Price- do their shares price usually increase, decrease or just remain stagnant.

3. The highest price ever per unit. This will probably give you the knowledge of what to expect in the future.

4. Demands for their shares.

5. How long has the company been in existence and their past in terms of shares.
Am a total newbie, Will make sure to be careful & put all these into consideration. As advised, I won't be investing all on shares. How often should a share bonus / dividend be declared?

You've been helpful, Thanks a bunch.
InvestmentRe: I Need Suggestions On How/what To Invest My Savings On(urgent) by DeevaB(op): 4:12pm On Aug 07, 2014
ogedanny: My dear, My candid advice for you is this:

Do not invest all your invest in one place.

Split your money and spread them across reliable investment like FBN Capital market, invest in your business presence online to multiply your sales and keep some as cash for future opportunities.
Thanks... definitely, not going to put my eggs in one basket. Thanks, for this new idea (business online ) which means I have to put in more money into my business.
InvestmentRe: I Need Suggestions On How/what To Invest My Savings On(urgent) by DeevaB(op): 8:21am On Aug 05, 2014
Masive01: Hello dear, I stumbled upon your post. I'm glad i did. It's always interesting to meet forward-thinking people like you.
firstly, any investment that pays 10% monthly is either a scam or extremely 'high-risk'
secondly, 'shares will get you money after your first child has finished his university education.....would you wait that long? or would the company you're investing in survive for that long?
thirdly, i'ld also strongly emphasize the post that you can successfully invest in something that you have passion/desire for.....unless you are wildly richer than 150k.
lastly, i have found myself scrapping out my savings recently, because i have invested a lot in a company that i'm looking to establish. It's a tech company, and i simply love gadgets. So if you share my enthusiasm for the internet or gadgets, i invite you to listen to my business proposal. And of course, you'ld have to sign an NDA first. Nice day to you smiley
Thanks a lot, now ure giving me a second thought about shares, I know It's a long term investment, might invest in shares though but not with all of my savings. Ain't wildly rich at all, saved that tooth and nail.
Hmmm, this is the second advise to follow my passion which I think is the honest truth.
Thanks uve been helpful smiley

InvestmentRe: I Need Suggestions On How/what To Invest My Savings On(urgent) by DeevaB(op): 7:57pm On Aug 04, 2014
Dsage1: Hello,

The fact that you could saved upto 150k as a girl and as an under-graduate shows how discipline you are with your savings.

Meanwhile, from the last two sentences of your second paragraph, one can deduce that you've an Idea of what to do with the money, you're just not sure or were afraid to do it.

And let me tell the truth about business/investment, you can only succeed in what you like doing/have passion for and not what some random people suggested for you.

As for the 'share', get a God fearing Stock Broker or check one of this thread on this section to learn more before investing your money.
Thank you so much. This is very helpful, buying shares is the Only investment idea I could think of, and Yes I Am afraid of the risks that comes with it.
Thank you
