Nigeria among worst countries to start a career, and they all don’t accept crypto Nigeria and other worst countries in the world to start a career have something in common – they don’t accept crypto. Changpeng Zhao, the founder and leader of the world’s biggest crypto exchange, Binance, has posted a list of the top 5 countries to start a career side by side with the bottom 5 (worst) countries to start a career. The top 5 in descending order include United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, U.S A, and Japan while the bottom 5 are listed as Uruguay, Nigeria, Libya, Syria, and Yemen. It is interesting to note that the countries listed in the top 5 all legally recognize and accept cryptos, while the bottom 5 countries do not accept or legally recognize the fast ever-changing financial asset.

Brandonx:bro I Neva told you I'm 17, I finished university education 17 years ago that was what I meant. |
Why on earth did God bring me to this country called nigeria...out all 195 countries in the world, it had to be nigeria After all the plans I had for my future, now this is happening. Something that has done more for me in 4 months than nigerian government has, in 17 years... Sometimes, I wish I know what happens after death.. The only reason I'm still alive now is my mom.. I just can't make her go through the pains of losing her only son. God please help me.. |
Emary:bro blocked what? Me that just updated my luno app this morning, and it's still alive and well.. |
GamalNasser:you transfer from your main naira bank account to your luno naira account..then buy cryptocurrency with your luno naira account. |
The founder and CEO of cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, Changpeng Zhao has reacted to the order by the Central Bank of Nigeria which prohibits commercial banks and all non-banking financial institutions from transactions involving cryptocurrencies. The CBN gave the order as seen in a statement issued on Friday, stressing that all the institutions are to close the accounts of customers with cryptocurrency transactions immediately. Reacting to the order which, according to Zhao, will affect naira deposits and withdrawals, the Binance CEO advised the withdrawal of naira to avoid potential channel issues. “Received notice from our channel partners that NGN deposits and withdrawals will be affected,” the CEO wrote on his official Twitter handle on Friday. “Still confirming details on when/how. Please withdraw your NGN as early as possible to avoid potential channel issues. In another tweet, He said, “To err on the safe side, we have also disabled deposits to prevent more NGN coming in.” |
Hello nairalanders. I know a lot of persons are seriously pissed off by the new policy implemented by the C.B.N regarding cryptocurrency exchange, and alot of people are rushing to withdraw their naira from binance and co.. Well for those that make use of luno for crypto trading, I think i just discovered a way that make luno invincible to this useless and totally backward policy. People that are familiar with the use of luno will know that luno offers a variety of deposit options.. it's either you buy the desired cryptocurrency directly from your bank(which will make you eligible for blocking) or you deposit into the naira account provided by luno. for those that are not familiar with luno, the naira account that luno provides, is like an online naira bank account that accepts deposits in naira and still stores it in naira until you are ready to buy any crypto of your choice(from the luno naira account, and not your main naira account) Even if you want to withdraw your cash... You can choose to convert any crypto you want to sell into naira and store on the luno naira account, before you transfer to your main naira account... What do you guys think?? |
iamJ:bros if we wail, it is our wail.... The way you're talking it's like you are one of those guys that can't afford to buy cryptocurrency and is envious of those that can, and are making it, so you just want the system to crash... Rubbiish:I dey tell you!!! Na only person wey no get money to by crypto go dey support this ban.. may be becos one of his friends is making it big time and he is becoming jealous. |

Please stop talking thrash... To be honest, any person supporting this ban is an enemy of development and one of the problems of this country |

Wtf!!!! Why is nollywood like this.. you see them on tv everyday on some of the most popular nollywood movies and think they make millions and are living the good life. Only for them to get sick and start seeking for financial assistance.. I don't think this has anything to do with bad investment, I think nollywood is over, over, overated... Wtf!!! Innovation can be instrumental to the success of economies, at macro and micro scales. While investment provides powerful fuel for innovation—the relationship isn’t always straightforward. The 2020 ranking from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) reveals just that. The map below breaks down the most innovative countries in each World Bank income group, based on data from WIPO’s Global Innovation Index (GII), which evaluates nations across 80 innovation indicators like research and development (R&D), venture capital, and high-tech production. While wealthier nations continue to lead global innovation, the GII also shows that middle-income countries—particularly in Asia—are making impressive strides
