Hello guys...last month, I told my uncle that I wanted to start learning how to code and programme and I would need a laptop or a computer to start... So he sent me one custom made pc (which he built himself, according to him) from overseas..

Please, I am a total noob in anything computer related and I would like to know if this pc's would components would be enough for me...

According to him, the pc has:

128 Gb of R.A.M
Intel core i9 10300H(10th gen) processor
Nvidia Titan V graphics card (16 Gb)
10 Tb hdd
4Tb ssd (and another empty ssd slot)

Please anyone who knows stuff, should please let me know.

I am currently financially stable enough to pay my own rent...I have a small business that brings in some cash..but I can't afford to pay my rent and school fees at the same time... I plan on talking to him about it to know if he could be able to continue helping me with my school fees till I graduate. while I deal with the rent and feeding and co...what do you think?

For me eeh if u ave what it takes to do so y nt bt if it will end in regret b/c of financial isues just stay and manage it bt don't always stick arround the house always go out wit frnds to avoid some mayhem or even go holidays.

Hello guys..is it okay for a 21 year old male to leave his parents house and leave alone

I am planning on moving out of my fathers house because he is making it unbearable for me here....mind you, he still pays my university fees...will it wise to move out and pay my own rent and have him take care of my school fees alone or should I stay till I graduate? I'm currently at 200L...

The way I hate those two stupid things we call religion ehnnn. Nigerians have made anything religion disgust me. Religion is the major reason why africa is as it is today, very backward and disgusting. There is nothing good religion has done for us. Used a dos attack to gain access to the F.B.I database, then installed a malware on their servers, stole some information (that I find useless till this day) then I installed a trojan bomb that shutdown all their servers for 24 hours......damn I'm good..

Hello guys. Why do many christians see people who don't go to church on Sundays as sinners?

Especially my parents...they would tell me that if I don't want to go to church on Sundays, that I should look for somewhere else to go and stay.. that I can't stay in the house that Sunday, Why?

They would deny me of some basic needs that Sunday and would become really angry with me.. I don't really understand. Does going to church guarantee you heaven. Please what do you guys think because I'm beginning to hate this religion called christianity.

A significant number of Nigerians linked to crypto trading have allegedly had their bank accounts closed by their respective banks.

This is in lieu of Nigeria’s apex bank directive prohibiting banks and other financial institutions from dealing in crypto-related transactions. The CBN clearly instructed banks to adhere to the directive with immediate effect which has probably led to why such bank accounts were immediately shut down.

a customer affected was told by his bank that in line with the CBN directive on cryptocurrency operation in Nigeria, the individual account was henceforth inactive.

The Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami yesterday said the Federal Government would soon announce a timeline for Nigerians to link their National Identity Numbers (NINs) with their bank accounts.

Pantami, who spoke with State House Correspondents at the end of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, said the timelines for the mandatory linking of the NIN to bank accounts would soon be released.

The minister had also said NIN would replace the Bank Verification Number (BVN) because the latter was not backed by law.

Panatami had last year set between December 16 and 30, last year as timeline for telephone subscribers to link their Subscriber Identity Module (SIMs) with NINs. The government had warned that ‘violations of this directive will be met by stiff sanctions, including the possibility of withdrawal of operating licence’.

After an outcry by Nigerians over the timing of the directive which had led to subscribers crowding at the few registration centres of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) across the country in disregard to the protocols of COVID-19, the National Task Force on National Identification Number (NIN) and SIM registration granted another extension.

Three weeks’extension was granted for subscribers with NIN from December 30, 2020 to January 19, 2021; six- week extension for subscribers without NIN from December 30, 2020 to February 9, 2021.

The Federal Government finally gave new deadline April 6, 2021, but stakeholders have urged the Federal Government to extend allow the exercise to run for, at least, six months and even remove the timeline in its entirety.

Pantami said told reporters that the Council also approved about N8.9 billion for a new National ICT Park in the FCT to coordinate public and private ICT hubs in the country.

He said: “The wisdom behind the ICT Park is for it to be a centre where public and private ICT hubs are going to be coordinated by the Federal Government, where young innovators with disruptive ideas will be mentored and all what they need provided for. We will provide enabling environment for them to utilise and come up with disruptive technologies.

“This is the first of its kind in Nigeria, we have so many parks and hubs but they are regional. This one will be central and will be a center of job creation for our teaming youths. It will be a center where technology will be developed and incubated. It will play a significant role in reducing unemployment and the reduce the gap of unemployability.

I am still a jambite. I am just making plans for the future. My course is just a three years course (computer science) so after that. I plan on going for masters abroad.

Hello guys. I plan on traveling to Canada for a master in c.s, after my b.s.c in Nigeria.

Some factors made me consider this decision, including the fact that some nigerians believe that a c.s degree in Nigeria is a scam and it's useless. Some say you don't need a c.s degree to be a coder, programmer or app developer. Even if that's all true I just want to study c.s in Nigeria then move to Canada to further my education and probably work there.


What do you guys think of this..and what advantages do I have.

You are as free as air unlike covenant University.. Their hostel accommodation is topnotch ever since they moved over to umunya..You can also choose to live off campus if you like.. At least, I think their fees are a bit lesser than the other..
