Business / How I Was Scammed By A Data Seller On Nairaland by Deilluminator(m): 1:22pm On Sep 01, 2016
Mostly when stories are shared, many often taken for granted. The lessons inherent in these stories are meant to give light to others.
I used to buy data from data sellers but I have never been scammed except today when I decided to try a nairalander whom I came across his advert here on this platform with a mouthwatering data prices.
I decided to chat with this guy through WhatsApp using the number he provided on his advert and agreed to send me 3g at 600 naira. Ordinarily, I was suspecting that the the amount of data is too much at that amount but because one of my friends has ever bought 6g Etisalat at 1k from a data seller, I decided to give it a try.
After collecting the airtime worth of 600 naira from me, the next reply I got was Thank you. And that was all. I couldn't see his WhatsApp status to know whether he's online or not. I called and he said he was sending it. After some time I decided to call back but my calls were not picked and that's how this guy got away with 600# from me in this Buhari era.
Though I have learned my lesson and am not regretting my experience because I like experimenting things but it pains me to see how this naughty guy is spoiling the market for other genuine data sellers. He has succeeded but I have the conviction that it's never going to be well with this guy.

Those days neighbours have dogs named #Ekwueme, Ezeife, Samson, Snoop.. I mean, this thing amaze me so much that we hailed a man that called a woman *SHEPOPOTAMUS and heckle a man that named his pet after a hero.

So If I call my snake; lalasticlala.. he will ban me or what
If that has been the practice, then what has suddenly change that one can be arrested for naming his pet in that order? That means that his behaviour is cultural.

Even if it is not, why not just debate the topic for what it is. You folks dwell on conspiracies too much, get lost in personalities and profiles and lose out in knowledge and exposure. This is social media. There are all sorts out there, filter the news, get the substance and move on. Life is not black and white.
Thanks for the education. But that picture looks so weird to a well groomed African in moral values. Pardon my English

That statement really kick my brain. I can't imagine the Government still begging for patient when the real deed needs to be done. Is this a continuation of cluelessness? For how long will we keep the patient?

Very rubbish post. Before the British created Nigeria, the Governors are under the emirs. Go through the history of Kano and u will understand wat I'm talking about
Stop foaming. The mod just asked a simple question. You could do better by answering his question and educate him there after. I think it's honourable that way.
