Health / Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by dejai99: 10:00am On Sep 27, 2023
Good day everyone, I got married last year and I've been trying to conceive. The first thing that I noticed was that my menstruation ceased for like 3 months. I was placed on drugs and the period resurfaced in February. Ever since that, I've been experiencing continuous spotting/bleeding. I don't even know when I'm on my period again because of this constant spotting. Any time I deep my finger in, it stains with blood and during sex too. I've done ultrasound scan that came out negative for fibroids and my husband and I I've treated infections. Pls any suggestions especially from people who have gone through sth similar in the past on how to stop this unwanted blood

Hi dejai99

Sorry about your wife's condition.

To answer your question, there's always a relapse pending when the subject's hormone is fully balanced.

Women's cycle is a crazy thing and can always go on and off at intervals.

If she's having same issues like mine, please let her focus on vitamin supplementation.

She should try either of this:

1. Daravit woman: its a combination of Chaste berry and all essential vitamins. It has a dosage for non-period days and another dosage for period days. It will help balance her cycle

2. Vitex (Gaia brand). Some ladies swear on this product that it's the best thing after sliced bread for hormonal issues

3. A combination of Magnesium, Vit B6, Zinc, Vit c, and Folic acid. This also helps with balancing hormones ( progesterone levels)

Lastly, let her speak to naturopathic doctor. They are experts in handling hormonal issues.

I hope this helps.

I really appreciate your quick response. She will start option 3 because she is already on vitamin and supplement regimen. We will just include magnesium and others.
But I want to ask, in your previous post that I quoted, you mentioned iron and vitamin b complex. While this one has no iron and b complex in your recommendation. Pls, what has changed?

Hi,

Just wanted to give us a quick update on how I'm faring ( guess someone might need to use that info in the future)

So I started my vitamin supplementation last week just as someone on this thread recommended.

Although I did a bit of research before commencing.

Full details:

I saw a video on YouTube where someone said they were bleeding for 4months non-stop and literally did all the test their gynae recommended - yet nothing was found to be the root cause and drugs weren't even working

Happened that someone else recommended they take iron pills considering that the heavy bleeding can make them anemic. Surprisingly, they started the iron pills and their bleeding stopped.

After seeing that YouTube video, I jumped into more research on the relationship between vitamins and female hormones

From my research, I gathered that vitamins like iron, magnesium, zinc, b-complexes, and vit c are very essential for balancing hormones

So I started taking a combination of these (excluding magnesium) on Thursday.

I took them in their right dosage and to my utmost surprise, the bleeding stopped. It didn't stop abruptly though but it drastically reduced and gradually faded away in 3days.

I'm fully okay and back to my normal life.

Additional details
- The chest pain and back pain I got as side effects from duphaston has disappeared

- Severe headache I got as side effect has also gone

- Aggression, mood swings, and anxiety signs I got during the hormonal crisis are also gone

I feel so brand new and happy.

Thanks to everyone who came to my aid on this thread. I'm utterly grateful for your suggestion.

PS: will be starting my vitex supplement next month and hoping it helps stabilise everything

Thanks for sharing this. My wife is currently facing similar issue. I want to know if there is no relapse. I asked this because there was a time we treated it and it resurfaced after a week. Presently she is on vitamin e, c and folic acid. Pls I need you to guide us on the best type, dosage and the cost. Thanks

This is a real issue. I'm also facing the same challenge with my MTN Sim. Sometimes it'll come up by itself for few minutes before disappearing again. While the glo Sim inside has no issue at all. I think it has to do with the latest update. It started five days ago.

Good morning, I played a game on Wednesday 23rd May, 2018 and the matches were concluded before 6pm of 23rd May, 2018. Unfortunately, the games were still open after 36 hours. I was surprised to see that my stake was returned without the winning yesterday. When I contacted them, they said there's a glitch in the system that made the odd for that selection to be higher. That's they canceled the game. Make una here this o.

Politics / You Have Sacked Yourselves, Osun State Govt Tells Striking Doctors by dejai99: 9:23pm On Feb 19, 2016
Osun State government, on Friday said for abandoning their duty posts for over six months, striking doctors in the state public health sector have automatically sacked themselves.

It affirmed that it was invoking civil service rule that says whoever shuns his or her duty post for a certain period is deemed to have resigned.

Addressing a press conference yesterday, the chairman, Osun Stats Special Committee on Health, Dr. Simeon Afolayan contended that the doctors' demands were higher than what the state could afford financially.

According to him, doctors in the employment of the State Ministry of Health and Hospital Management Board, are less than 100, saying "government could not because of the number, and in the face of dwindling resources, accruable from the Federation Account, use all its resources to pay only them".

While explaining that the doctors were duly represented in the revenue sharing committee headed by veteran labour leader, Comrade Hassan Sunmonu, Afolayan averred that the committee had been determining the percentage going into the payment of salaries.

He stated, "40,000 workforce agreed that the state should take tough decision when it was clear the state's finances was down. This led to the payment of modulated salaries to workers.

"Government cannot pay full salary to doctors when others are receiving modulated salary. While we recognize that the doctors are rendering essential services, we must not also risk irking other workers, who are on modulated salaries.

"For 11 months, they have been on strike, yet they were being paid salaries. They got paid till September last year. In civil service, you cannot abandon your duty post for 6 months without your action being considered as resignation.

"This civil service rule has taken effect. Government cannot encourage lawlessness. Their (doctors) role is significant but their number is insignificant among workforce in the state. The fact that for 11 months, doctors did not work and yet the state's healthcare services are still functioning calls to question their relevance."
