Well i know central bank does not Evaluate contracts, but there is no way CB will not go through the paper trail of the contract before paying 2 billion naira....it not A small amount. ....and if they are satisfied that mean the Nigerian state through it central bank is paying Dokpesi for doing a legitmate business. ... but let wait for the court .

Central bank does not evaluate contract, they disburse and keep fund, what d cbn guy said is that the cbn followed due process in disbursing d fund, all disbursement protocol were followed, the got d letter granting dokpesi d money and confirmed it. they didnt say d contract was right, they dont evaluate contracts.

Did read the Report? ...Who is on trial? The court case here is about Dokpesi receiving illegal money through the Office of the dsa...central bank said the contracts followed due process. .. so how is Dokpesi culpabable....let wait for the judgment..

the case isn't about whether or not d cbn followed due process in disbursing d money to dansuki (they did, if not they will be prosecuted), the issue is whether or not dansuki knowingly received money meant for arm deals from dansuki. If he did he is guilty, it doesnt matter whether cbn followed due process.

CBN followed due process in disbursing the money. That first of all means Daar communication can no longer deny getting money from NSA. The next question is, was the said money meant for media campaign or for arms purchase, that is the real bone of contention. I may be wrong but am not aware that CBN is allowed to dole out money direct to individuals, they usually have to use banks for that. The bank is trying to protect herself by not admitting they did anything wrong. What EFCC is concern with at this point is that Dokpesi actually received the said money and then tie it to the Dasuki money and then tie the Dasuki money to Boko haram arms purchase. So CBN staff saying it was through the right channel does not change anything for now. When the time to face CBN comes, it will be investigated if paying money direct to individuals is a right channel or not.
