Romance › Re: Should I Marry My Boyfriend With This Behaviour? by Dejoe2019: 7:49am On Aug 27, 2020 |
A rule that has always worked for me is when in doubt, don't. You created your nairaland account a month ago and you have created 6 topicso all about your boyfriend and distant relationship. It's a sign that you are really worried and in doubt about how the relationship will work. With this mindset, even if you close your eyes and get married to him, you will continue to doubt if your decision was right. And as such, nothing he does will ever satisfy you and to even say this is a 5 year old relationship, makes it even more worrisome. It's obvious both of you have serious issues at hand. Right now you are both forcing yourselves to love each other. After the wedding day reality sets in. It's painful to let a 5 year relationship go down the drain. But it's total devastation to close your eyes to the obvious truth. I married my best friend 15years ago. And that is the only reason my marriage has survived till now. Anything short of marrying your best friend you can truly love in good and bad times and for better and worse is a recipe for disaster. Marriage is not what you see on movies, the reality is different. Please make a good decision now, while you still have time. Cheers. |

Are you sure of what you are saying? I am in Turkey and I know why I am asking you. Getting a teaching job of 3,000 TL here is difficult for many graduates without accommodation and feeding. Not to talk of bringing someone from abroad in the name of internship and provide him with accommodation and feeding. Which school does that? We have many graduates here working in a factory. Be very sure because it smells scam to me. illicit: No. Thanks for your response.
There is no middle man. The internship employment is straight from the school, they have contacted me already. I am to go and teach English language to primary and secondary school students. Accomodation and food is covered. the pay is 3000 TRY for a month.
The duration is one year. |

Don't even think of resigning at this time. In the Nigeria of today 450k is not a small money. My advice to you as a family man would be : Relocate to your office area and you will get a nearby school for your kids. Get a close family relative to stay with you and help with the kids. Make sure you do not resign until you have saved at least 10-15million and then think of moving abroad |

It is not necessary, but depends largely on how you package yourself and your applications. You will not be denied a visa because your passport is virgin. Tourism started one day for all of us. spacofadan: Do I need to have any travel history before I apply for Tourist visit. As I have a virgin passport, does it consequentially reduce my chances of getting the visa |

Honestly, i tire for the guy wey spend only 8 days and know Turkey more than those of us who have been here for long. People spew a lot of thrash online. Turkey is a beautiful country far ahead of Nigeria in many ways. Turkey is certainly not the best country in the world, but cannot be compared to Nigeria. fispet2009: I just smile when I see how some people jump into irrational conclusion when they have no full understanding of a situation. I presumed he stayed in the slum part of Istabnul (probably Aksaray) and met people who ain’t doing well here I live in Turkey, teach English and obviously earn far beyond the amount you stated above. Very few places in the world has free and boyant economy, everyone needs to struggle and think outside the box for survival. Living in Turkey might be stressful and disappointing at the start but if you are persistent, diligent, hardworking and innovative your journey will be worth the stress and cost. |
