While it is understandable why people are curious about the need for a formal transfer of power to the VP by Mr President before he left , the "21 days or more" stipulation by law should be duly noted, so also should it be understood that even without the said formal transmission of power to to him, the VP is very much in charge already.

The law says if Mr President will be away for 21 days or more then transmission of power will be necessary. If less than that, it won't be necessary.
I think it's as simple as that.

Such a saddening and worrying mishap.
We hope the service chiefs have all sprung to action as they've been ordered by the president and the vice President to do.
We pray that these innocent people are freed or rescued soon.

Whether there's power transmission here or not, what really matters here is that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has taken charge of proceedings once again in the absence of President Buhari as evidenced by his presiding over the FEC meeting.

Besides, the position of the law on such power transmission is that such will only be necessary if the president is going to be away for 21 days or more. In this case though, the president is scheduled to be away for medical check-up for 14 days.
So, that settles it.

This is why we repeatedly tell Naysayers who spread misinformation on the Social Media regarding Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN, claiming he is all about talking and talking without action, that they are clowns and Mischief Makers.
The VP doesn't just preach, advocate and campaign change that will lead to development, he practices it. He leads by example. He supports and encourages growth and development especially in the informal sector.
This is the right man for the job if truly we are serious about getting the country to the next level of development.

Naysayers will always cook up unfounded stories in an attempt to bury their targets.
In this very case though they are bound to always fail as the person they are trying to pull down (Prof. Yemi Osinbajo) is way too much for them.

Only a senseless person will say that an active person like Osinbajo only talk and talk and nothing more.
Nobody in this administration has put in half as much efforts as Osinbajo has, to revive the economy.
