Too much stressful reading causes wahala too. I had lots of Ds, Es and 2 Fs to garnish when I was Jacking like a donkey and just like you, I was a DE student too. I would start reading like mad when tests or exams are close and that really stressed me out. On the said Day I will chew my biro cover. I would forget some small details but of you mention one point, the rest come flooding in. But I did not want to ask questions because if caught, I would prolly be sent out of the hall or school. So I re strategized, I started reading everyday what I learnt for the day to keep the memory fresh in my head. On weekends I read from start to finish lectures for the week and if time permits me I read from the beginning of that session. That was how I managed to get the bulkload and back log off my neck. Exam and tests were just for revission instead of for cramming. I never got a C afterwards. Was all As and Bs oh sorry I got a C just 1. I managed to leave school with 2:1

Yeah, maybe he(the judge) took into consideration the things that happened during the armed robbery incident. You know, a robber who came to steal and takes what you have and leaves is different from one who threatened to rape your 2yr old daughter or chop your fingers off etc if you do not give him more money. So maybe her story prompted the judge. But yes, he may beat it down to life instead of death penalty.

I suspect set up. No record of the man claiming he killed her. The dad seemed to want to send her out of his home. It seems she left and her mom wanted them to go get her again. Hence he said NO way. Ecaxtly. Parents should not be afraid to ask thatguests who wish to carry their babies wash their hands first. Nigerians easily pick offence and some woukd even mock you. overlook their ignorance and stick to your gun. Your child your rules.

I always tell new moms this same thing. Do not give your babies to every well wisher. They are fragile and need to build strong immunity. Tell them that she is sleeping. Put her in a cot and cover with a net. Let them gaze at her through the door. Do not let everyone touch her/him. I do not ask ti carry newborns and if I do I always wash my hands and nit kiss the baby. Many kids have fallen sick due to tio much carry carry frim strangers.

How sad! This is what happens when parents send their babies to far away destinations and/or fail to care for them. Now that girl has to live with the tragedy of losing her sisters, the parents have to live with the loss of two very young children (which could have been avoided by taking PROPER care of them), and the poor sisters are completely lost to the world. What a life!

Parents, please never relinquish the duty of caring for your children to children. Send your kid to a school close by or move to an area with better schools - and still send them to school from home. I don't blame the girl if she was enticed by the prospect of boyfriend and sex. If she was with her parents they would have directed her better. Alone, she has to learn through experience what to do and what not to do. That is an impossible task for a kid. And this was the consequence.
