I agree. Looking back now, I still think we were unfair to Odegbami and should have given her more time. Her falcons team was more of a delight to watch than that of Dennerby. This may also be because the likes of Ordega, Okobi, Oshoala, Ikidi, Oparanozie were still at their prime then.

Yeah yeah we would have given her more time as she played better football defensively and Attacking Wise, even though in the final against Cameroon she was very very Conserved but still grinded out a win when it matters..! She’s good. Arguably my no.1 Pick going for an Ex-international to handle the SuperFalcons and she’s more of a developmental Coach.! Again as you have said those Players mentioned where in their hot period even though some where already getting older.. Ebi, Chikwelu, Ijeoma Obi etc.

Her Players selection where also on point, Substitutions where top notch..! I think her Coaching Style was the last time the SuperFalcons played real Pace and Power Football.. Ordega/Oshoala/Okobi/Chikwelu Infact everyone of the Players where running till 90minutes non stop.

I hope Linda don’t get carried away with the invite to the SuperFalcons, She should work her way into the U20 team. Infact get the First Choice position in both Club and U20 so that we can be sure her invite to the SuperFalcons isn’t just to add numbers.!

The most impactful change that Randy Waldrum made that turned around the fortunes of the Super Falcons was dropping Rita Chikwelu from the team.

That lady was an eyesore and impacted our game so negatively and cost the team a lot.

The Saudi League must be a very low quality league cos I can't fathom how that lady was signed by a club and is still making appearances.

Make Ashleigh Plumptre do commot for that league.

The truth is Rita Chikwelu time wit the SuperFalcons supposed to have ended after the 2019 World Cup, but again most of our players don’t leave when the ovation is high.., like when they know too well that their bossy can’t carry it again at the highest level but they will refuse just because they keep on getting invited which I believe the Coaches are also to be blame..

I'll rather we play Columbia, Sweden or Italy and any Asian country really. Columbia because they seem to be the most improved Southern American country at the moment. Gave the USA a run for their money. Sweden/Italy because all their games with Spain was very close. Sweden because they've played Spain 3 times just last year and all the games were close. We necessarily don't need a team that plays like Spain. No team plays like them quite frankly.

For Japan, they are the best team in Asia and others aren't even close. Anyone will do.

My view from another angle again, Since they will be Camping in Europe, they can as well play games against teams like Denmark, Norway, China PR, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Colombia, Czech Republic who aren’t Bad either and can as well help our Rankings..

-Nicole Payne is not guaranteed. Dare say won't be there.
-Randy will look to the future and take Linda Jiwuaku ahead of Tochukwu oluehi if its 18 players
-Chinwendu Ihezuo definitely ahead of Omorinsola Babajide from the look of things. Except Christy Ucheibe is take as defender in place of Nicole Payne, and then Omorinsola Babajide as an extra striker.

Lol 😂
••• Yes Nicole Payne not guaranteed but stands a chance to claim a spot..

••• Randy Picking another goalkeeper ahead of Oluehi as Back Up for Nnadozie will be a big shocker which I see not happening very soon.. This might be Tochi Major Goodbye tournament for the SuperFalcons..

••• Babajide gets a spot, She’s a winger not a number 9, we need options on the flanks!

••• Ihezuo still have a chance but will have a tough time making the final roster except she do more magic and Randy Sacrifices Iffy Onumonu for her, Her Pressing game look good though!!

••• Oshoala, Okoronkwo, Onumonu and Ihezuo are battling each other for spot..! Oshoala and Esther Okoronkwo very certain na the rest go fight for the other spot..

••~ By the way Onumonu came to camp with a knock on her ankle which made her not to participate in both legs, If she can spring a major surprise in the NWSL and Prior to the Olympics she stands a Chance! Ihezuo chance is more Slim

Halimatu Ayinde vs Aitana Bonmati ??

Can Alozie marks Mariona who’s arguably one of the most underrated player in the Women’s game??

Right now this two are arguably the biggest weapon Spain have! Before the likes of Hermoso, Alexia and Salma

Any Country btw the USA, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, China, South Korea should be our possible options for Friendly Games going to the Olympics!

Me still trying to figure out another Country that’s very good in Tiki Taka/Possession style of Play like the Spanish side that the Falcons can test themselves with before the Olympics, Sweden are pretty okay but no body does it better than Spain!!

With our Physicality, Strength, Pace, Compact Defense and Athleticism in General the girls can match them..!

Nigeria and our love for WOWO (We only want Oyibo), why did Salome Zogg and Roosa Ariyo not play for the Falcons again?
Surprised to even see Blessing Demehin was featuring for Randy even before the 2022 U20 WorldCup. Very Nice!

For emphasis I only started to follow Female football religiously after WAFCON 2022

Also watching these highlights can Tochi Oluehi retire. Randy should find another keeper in addition to Jiwuaku as back up to Nnadozie.

Tochi retire for what reason?? Have you got any incredible young backup for Nnadozie yet?? NO

By the way she’s not only there as Back up goalie for Nnadozie right not but as the Big sister to the Players playing the role Onome Ebi currently Left Behind…

Maybe when you spot one good goalie we can as well clamor for her retirement! But again Age doesn’t really have much effect on goalie as they do perform at the highest level even at 40…!

..I am surprised that the Moroccans were able to match the Zambians initially, because the pace at which they(Zambians)were and still playing is just mind blowing....as regards man power,I saw Patrick😁😁😁,sorry,i meant to say "Prisca" the other time, and I could only laugh grin grin grin

I was expecting Morocco to keep the ball and play Passing game but no they played into the hand of Zambians by going toe-to-toe with time in terms of pace and Physicality, why not Play Passing game and starve them of the ball…

Let’s see how the second half plays out.

Still missing a true, out and out left back.
Okeke is a right footed player who doubles as a left back.

I’m the past we have used Right Footed Left Backs more than Natural Lefties… Faith Ikidi, Helen Ukaonu, Faith Ikidi who’s the best Left Back till date is Right footed..

Okeke is no Stranger to that Position as she has been playing in Multiple positions right from FC Robo before joining the National team, You forget so soon that at the U20 World Cup she was a Center Back, Played mainly as Right Back for the SuperFalcons earlier on before coming in sometimes as CB or LB!

At Madrid CFF she was a Left Back in 98% of the games she played.. Going to Israel 🇮🇱 she played Left Back and Right Back!

In Japan more as a CB/RB

Her versatility will definitely make Randy have her more in the team, Let’s just agree that she’s a Defender (FB/CB)
