Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is Atiku's best choice for a Running Mate. She will get votes from Ladies and Women all over Nigeria. Nigeria is also due for a female Vice President. Just by seeing Iweala on the podium campaigning for votes, women will start thinking of voting for Atiku because one of them will be the Vice President of Nigeria if PDP wins the Presidential Elections. IWEALA is not directly from south east, but i believe she is the most loved woman in nigeria politics and she is more popular than anybody on atiku's possible list.

Atiku would still get the same number of votes he is supposed to get from sw regardless of whether he picks his vp from their side or not but same cannot be said for Igbos. Igbos have waited long enough for this. Atiku should be wise.

you are very correct. Igbos are going to vote Atiku no matter who gets the VP ticket but that does not mean they are ready to be sidelined. The concern of Igbos is removing the dullard from aso rock.
