With my little knowledge of Geology, it is very much possible. A lot comes into play when you are trying to delineate if such findings is a reserve this year and in a couple of years become a resource. The whole workings of the subsurface are a whole lot more complex. This is why you need to review your exploratory findings from time to time. chimex38: |
It feels good to be back and Happy New Year plus Valentine's Day to you all. I hope the Market has been doing you all well in 2025. N/B; Kindly shun any bigotry comments that tend to derail why we are here. Moderators be on high alert when you spot such comments and uproot them asap. |
Also, take note of MECURE as insiders just sold 400m units of shares at 6.95 naira. This is probably a way of boosting the OS. |
ARADEL becoming cheaper is a good Dividend play until the ex-date. A fundamentally sound stock just gave you amount 50% discount. From now on my eyes are on any significant purchase from the corporate disclosure. As I allow SEPLAT escape my sight I no go allow this to pass me by. |
Hogwarthtrades:And the Chairman of the Board nah former Vice Chancellor for U.I as well as a Professor in the Department of Geology oo. Kai!! |
![]() atigro:Chinko doings |
yMcy56:MULTIVERSE result no bad but boy why the use of CAMSCANNER tori olohun? I was just straining my eyes just to read the numbers. Company has a lot to do as regards how they present their result to the public. |
dapinza:Kindly carry this to your family members. Amadioha sends his greeting. |
crownprince2017:The CAVEAT to this is that you need your PRODUCTION to be at a point that it can cater for domestic consumption before considering FOREX from such export. Nah who belleful dey get mind enjoy BENJI. |
megawealth01:Hopefully he comes back to see how the forum has grown to be ![]() |
megawealth01:I no sabi the person but no be am ![]() I don dey Nairaland for quite some time but only active no quite long. |
NIGERIA never get strong institutions like Hedge Funds and the likes as we see in the US and other top-rated markets. Wale for don get HBP and forced to do the right thing when these people are on your neck. They can hire and fire if you no deliver. |
I will rather go to a market square where the sound of my dancing feet can be heard than put my tent in the midst of battalions of drums speaking different tunes. Those that understand this will translate this into their portfolio. Remember nah only you get the profit/loss of any investments you put in, so BE WISE! |
Blaqq2:This decision is for you alone to make. All I can say is have you weighed the upsides and downsides of both stocks? |
Sunrisepebble:When their first earnings report on NGX drops we go know the shareholding break down. At least let’s see OS/Float @ 25% and above. What I'm looking for is a positive ER as well as some moves from Corporate Disclosure as regards the Directors trading. DYOR then sprinkle Shinapps for floor ![]() |
Ijeoma1244:Thunder and Amadioha fire your left yansh. Carry your 419 elsewhere oloriburuku. ![]()
|
Sunrisepebble:This is the kind of news I want to see. All I see is more liquidity in the market. Keep stacking your gunpowder and keep track of the order book from time to time as we anticipate their earnings report. DYOR!! |
Big ups to those locked on SEPLAT, I dey wait make I see how high they can go before a stock split. For ARADEL, keep loading up your gunpowder cause when the time causes this cause just head the same way his Oga SEPLAT is currently heading. Rn assets are still growing so you need the market valuation to tally with it before making any serious move without any share dilution in the near term. ARADEL’s role in the gas sector is still underrated even though nah the oil part people seem to be focused on. We are currently chilling on the sidelines.. ![]() |
You see this SEPLAT with the kind of DEMAND associated with it and the positive news pending official stamp dem go need do stock split in the near future oo. Make we dey understudy the BoDs from the sidelines. As for ARADEL I dey wait make all these NASD retail investors finally get all their cashout then we can begin a reasonable rally. NB; Look out for any corporate disclosure in ARADEL (insider purchasing pattern) DYOR… |
megawealth01:Make he sort the one wey dey ground. Tobago Oil Well too dey to consider ![]() |
I'm all for a single licence for the Generation, Transmission and Distribution arm of the power sector. The fact remains that we need policies that will finally dismantle that TCN of an entity and allow different players to come in while Govt create a body solely for regulation. It is only here that govt wants to be the producer, off-taker as well as regulator. Too many idle assets either need to be sold off to willing buyers or they should just go the joint venture route (JV). In the end, you need will and solid policies to back this up. |
Blaqq2:It pops out once in a while. Currently tracking the SFSREITS but it's not something you will enter and exit in. If you are looking for steady dividend coupled with reasonable price appreciation, such business is worth taking a look at. NB: This is no Financial Advice……..DYOR |
SonofElElyonRet:I get you JAPAUL is a good play but they are still not out of the waters yet. I'm watching them closely anyways due to my background as an Economic Geologist who loves the Mining sector as well as O&G. The key is to be able to lock in profits as well as pull out. Nah only money wey dey your hand you fit call money. |
SonofElElyonRet:There is a difference between inferred and PROVEN. Make JAPAUL display their proven reserves then we'll begin to transfer funds towards their side. How Segilola just went into the hands of the Canadians rather than the public market still dey amazes me (hopefully they list oo). The kind generational wealth wey dey there nah die. Loans don dey settled with more reserves to explore. I just hope JAPAUL is on the right side of things make they sef benefit from am. |
Why shouldn't the RENAISSANCE be given that deal? These are private O&G businesses with good track records looking to take advantage of a good deal and expand from where they are. If not for the yeye bottlenecks wey Nigeria create upon herself this deal is supposed don be history by now. Nah Wale know wetin him see for Tobago wey e dey pursue am, allow the ones at home take advantage of idle assets at home jare. I won't say you should BUY/SELL Oando but thread with caution. At the end of the day everyone for NSEMPA dey chase their respective bags. |
A 10-20% premium of Aradel’s BVPS will be a good region to load the bag if such an opportunity arises. NB: DYOR Mpeace: |
By this logic it is only Ethiopia that seems to be the country growing at a steady rate while Nigeria seems to be on a serious decline. megawealth01: |
This quotation in () actually signifies loss after tax and not profit after tax (PAT). The same goes for the EPS bovali: |
They haven't given an update on their so-called e-naira that they wasted billions of naira on. |
The serial debtor is at it again. Constantly putting future generations on multidimensional debts. World Bank will never complain since that is their job before just like Humanitarian organizations will never pray for peace to reign or disease to be cured. The more poverty and war in the land the more the paychecks. NIGERIA ronu! |
How does this Heritage Bank v FBNH saga affect minority shareholders like this? Proshare has been drumming 🥁 doomsday since 2019 but CBN remember to go collect bank licence after asking for recapitalization. |
So, what happens to Oando if there is another adjournment after the court ruling on June 24th? |
