What form of retaliation do you think the US govt, the Fed and Treasury will likely take to this? RabbiDoracle: |
There is nothing we are looking for that is not at home here. How do we encourage our local coaches to ever dream of coaching the national team with all the nepotism from top to bottom? The system and our mentality towards sports need to change for the better. |
I do not see any sense in conducting another pointless archaic population census. The world has advanced beyond this crude method of door-to-door head count which breeds room for population inflation. There are multiple institutions where data can be collected. The earliest time to hold such a count will be in 2026 if we are to follow the trend of the last census conducted in 2006. |
With at least Five notable financial institutions either folding up or forced to merge in Q1 2023, one can but wonder what's to come in the rest of the year. |
I don't know why people keep falling for these irresponsible representatives. For good 3+ yrs, you didn't remember that a part of your constituency needs a transformer. How does he intend to bring a steady power supply to the area? Can he guarantee his people that these transformers will even last? |
It is the reason I always block traces of tribalistic or religious extremists from my space. We are all humans first. Treat others the way you will want others to treat you. |
For one to have a hedge in this market, one has to keep learning & re-strategizing. Some days will be good, while others will be bad. RISK MANAGEMENT OF YOUR PORTFOLIO IS VERY IMPORTANT. |
They will collect all of them if they get re-elected. Make una think twice before giving them your votes, 4yrs could feel like 8 long years oo. |
Why do people tend to forget things quickly? Which party's govt gave Emefiele the go-ahead to do this? A saner govt will have checked out all possible loopholes before embarking on all these. The party in power have been ruthlessly known for their trial-by-error approach, which I think is still going to continue with the change of hands on May 29. This is more like a scenario of a younger grape from the same vein, destined for the same old bottle. |
I want people to put the presidential election drama aside. They should come out once more to exercise their civil franchise. Beware of aspirants that are too quick to promise heaven on earth. Vote wisely, as your decision could determine what happens in the next 4yrs. |
Don't trust a man that overpromises and then underachieves. |
Claiming to have an all-APGA State-house, will only lead to an authoritarian house. Let the people of Anambra decide the best voice that will represent them. |
From my point of view, it was a big miscalculation by GSM. You had issues with the internal politics of your party, which you're still relatively new to. PDP losing on all fronts (presidential, senate & HOA) a week ago will only make it an uphill task for him to get re-elected. I like some of his policies for the good people of Oyo State, but his association with Political thugs like Mukaila, thus allowing them freedom across the state, could be his undoing. Teslim is a former PDP man, so he could play his cards by appealing to aggrieving members of the PDP to his advantage. Lastly, it is up to the good people of Oyo to decide who to lead them for the next 4yrs. |
It is disgusting how the APC seems to be shooting itself in the foot with all these comments. Why can't they leave the interpretation of the law to the judiciary? On the other hand, allow the grieving parties to approach the court as it is their right to do so. What is the APC afraid of? If you won on a level playing field, you should be proud to defend it. The era of letting things slide just for so-called peace to reign will continue to put our democracy on the path of desolation. P.S: Dear Nairaland Moderators, Kindly double your effort in rooting-out tribalistic elements from this forum. It doesn't give Nairaland a good name. The fewer of them we've in this forum, the better and saner for all of us. |
Which stocks are you looking out for to finish on a high by the end of Q1? |
Those of us that want a better Nigeria know that this Reconciliation that they're talking about is nothing but MOCKERY. If they truly want us together, let them allow the political parties concerned to take their case to the Judiciary. Whatever is then decided at the end of the will be final. |
Omo we suppose get futures and options market for this Nigeria Stock Exchange na. That's one dem things wey dey fascinate me about the US stock markets. Hopefully, this new administration will usher in a breath of fresh air (HOPEFULLY!!!) to both the country and the market. Want to see more listings and deeper liquidity. |

This can only be possible and sustainable with good leadership with a strong foundation. ositadima1: |
All these ones no dey see better thing than darkness everywhere. He no go talk about the series of nonsense going on within the church that they're harbouring. We just have people disguising as the holiest of the holy while the do all sorts of evil in their closet. |
OP, i must commend you for sharing something like this to us all. I just wan ask a few Qs if you don't mind. 1. What was the estimated capital you set aside for this venture? 2. How did you have access to land? Was it on lease or fully owned? 3. What advise will you give a newbie in the Agriculture space? |
Wise Words!!! onegentleguy: |
This one wan become Tina Cruise. Mission Impossible : Afro Version. |
With all these uncertainties in the market, IT IS WELL!!! |
First, thank you OP for bringing this to the front page. I do have a few pawpaw trees that i grow in my garden and i must say i feel bless seeing how just a single seed grows up to become a tree that produces multiple fruits. This is one thing that fascinates me about Crop production which is a branch of Agriculture. I do want to ask a few questions if you don't mind? What signs do you look for to know the pawpaw is ready for harvest? Do you think having too much fruits on a particular tree could affect the size/ yield? Can only use the dry pawpaw leaves as Organic manure? How do you get access to a readily available market for someone selling for the first time? Would love to hear your thoughts and contribution to the questions above. Thank you. |
Wapgod:Wetin you see? |
Crazy how Peace is a fragile concept. I for once wasn't buying the tension from some notable news media yesterday night. I'm not in support of this war or any other that might have happened in the past. It is time to look for credible solutions towards ending this war and not escalating things towards a full blown World War. I STILL DEY WAIT FOR RAPTURE OO ![]() |
