My case is different. I started Hire Purchase of Brand New Keke Maruwa in January 2018. I had a target for 10 units by December of the same year but by June, I decided to stop at 5 units so I recoup my investment. I reinvested part of the recouped investment in the SUKUK Bond in December 2018. The first Keke will finish his payment in March 2019. The last one which was bought in June 2018 will finish payment around September 2019. I am going all out in 2019. Minimum target for 2019 is 10 units and I am restarting in the 3rd week of January.

I wouldn't want to share my trade secret publicly because it took me months of research and a combination of business acumen. I can give you proof of this offline. Is it an easy business to do? Hail no! You gat be a crazy person to successfully manage that business but I can assure that it is a money spinner.

You invest in about 700k to get N1. 1m (depending on the location.... mine is in Abule Egba) That is 400 profit. Treasury Bills, MMF and FG (Savings) Bond cannot give you that for the same duration. LOL!!

We all know how important oil is in Every Vehicle .. If you want to kill your engine fast.. Just ignore your piston rings..

HONESTLY SPEAKING..The best of all bajaj product of tricycle is the first model.. (145 model)

As somebody that has spent years in this tricycle business .. i wont advice anyone to invest his / her money on bajaj product if you dont want to regret starting hire purchase business..

Now lets talk about making the money from the business..

Currently All the Above mention Tricycle are being sold above 500k Brand New ..
If you want to start riding the keke yourself.. you will need to make some finding about Garage and Sale from Fellow tricycle Operators before you register your tricycle to any garage because there are some area that are always involve in hold up everyday even on Saturdays and Sundays E.G Mushin , Ojuelegba , Surulere , and Island..

You need to make research about how much you will pay your chairman on a daily basis because there are some garage where you will pay over 2k including Ticket Fee and Booking, daily apart from delivery money one will pay the owner . So look for area where you will pay less .. There are some Garage in Oyingbo, Sabo, Yaba, that do not pay more than 1200 daily and you will still make up to 5-6k daily apart from the payment you will pay the chariman of the garage..
Those area mentioned above have good road network

Now making the money from the keke..

Your Operator will pay you 15k weekly which will make it 60k monthly
which will make it 13 - 14 months to pay up.. With that.. you will be making 20 - 21k monthly..

For you to have a rest of mind.. Hand over your Tricycle to the Chairman of the Garage where you want your tricycle to work and not direct to the operator and make sure the chairman has a good record and has his own car..

there's nothing wrong with your vehicle, it's just stored codes caused by leaving the ignition on while working on the intake section of the car.

Thank you @eldega for bringing up the advert placement. Infact, he wasn't too aware of the advert. He only heard they are recruiting but all he said are exactly what is in the advert. I also questioned him why an experienced officer will be placed lower to fresh graduates and his answer was that maybe UAC believes that the MT guys know the entire UAC business processes well enough than the GS because of their cross-units experience and younger age. My friend said he is Senior Staff and that the GS post is a mid-level management rank. And the MT are seen as the future MD/CEO of UAC. His explanation doesn't make sense to me either. I remember him also saying that MT is about 2 to 3 steps ahead of GS. Bro, I stop here. The UAC interviewers will be in a better position to expatiate on the grey areas. I sign out.

This is for those who wonder what the pay is like for UAC and in other to finally end the speculations. The total pay is about N65,000. That's outside some other allowances paid to staff which depends on which company of UAC you work with. A friend of mine who works with one of the UAC units showed me his payslip two days ago. His pay is as mentioned above but he eventually gets up to about N80,000 a month. He was recruited as a Graduate Specialist (GS) but now a supervisor. He explained that a Graduate Specialists are those with certain skills at the point of recruitment while the Management Trainees (MT) have no skill at the point of recruitment. But that the management trainees will be placed higher in rank than the Graduate Specialists. How awkward that is but it is the harsh reality. The GS will be posted directly to the Unit where their skill will be most useful. The MT will be made Assistant Managers after their in-house training period. And that in UAC, if you are at the Assistant Manager rank, you have arrived. So, for those folks like myself whose monthly pay with current employer is higher than N80,000 and applied for GS post, you may want to reconsider your options.
