''We have been in camp for about a week but then, it appeared the game would not hold even when we were told to continue training hard,'' Enyeama told Guineenews about a FIFA ban which hung on Nigeria's neck until last Friday and the political programme in Guinea this weekend which combined to form odds against the game's coming to reality.

Nigeria and Guinea hardly meet but in one of those rare clashes in Conakry 13 years ago, a Fode Camara goal in a 1998 World Cup qualifier spoilt Nigeria's fun and was bad enough to send former Super Eagles’ coach Phillippe Troussier packing.
