The election has already started and almost concluded statewide. I believe the scores will remain the same since it is the parties that are contesting. If the inconclusive election is finally concluded and the APC wins, the deputy simply assumes the governorship and nominates a deputy.

APC will appoint Alhaji Yahaya Bello (Ebira) as the new APC candidate as a replacement for Audu (Igala).

Alhaji Bello and others contested with Audu at the last APC primaries and he got an overwhelming support as the most preferred candidate after Audu.

Alhaji Bello has the option of selecting another deputy but Tinubu won't accept that, so Faleke (Okun) remains the Deputy.

It's going to be war! Its no longer a battle between PDP & APC; but a War between the alleged Majority (Igala) Versus a Combo of EBIRA & OKUN (Yoruba). A battle the people of Okun & Ebira have been waiting for since the past 16 years.

Trust the Igalas, they will automatically support Theirs (Wada), even if he decamps to KOWA or AD.

I'm loving this. If this scenario plays out, then tough days ahead!

The first option available to INEC is to conclude the elections at a later date with Abubakar Audu as the Candidate of the APC and if as I expect, he wins the
election, INEC will then declare him the winner and his Deputy Governor will be
subsequently sworn in as Governor to comply with the Constitution.
This view is supported by the judicial attitude that leans towards party consideration rather than the individual candidate. The courts have ruled several times that it is the party that is voted for,

The above option seem more realistic, given the emboldened.

2. YOU CANNOT RENOMINATE A CANDIDATE AFTER NAME HAS BEING SUBMITTED TO INEC ( THE DEPUTY CANNOT STAND FOR ELECTION)
