Guys. Please how many Blocks should a bag of cements lay? Atleast and at most

Best Quality: 28 - 30 Blocks of 9 inches.
Average Quality: 30 - 35 Blocks of 9 inches.
Not too poor but can be managed by a few clients who doesn't want to spend too much: 35 - 40Blocks.

Anything more than this is too poor for construction.

Just move on... remember both you and the client are on different side of the table, different spectrum and a judged with different mindset....

Going forward with the back and forth, you could be drawn in a battle that regrettably, you can't win.. you might even end up in the bad side of the law. like these phone calls possibly recorded without the client's consent is not even admissible in court and depending on the laws of the land, could be problematic for you. I will suggest you take them down.

Reading all these posts, I struggle to find posts that were critical of you regardingthe said project or no project.. they only criticized your handling of the issue..

You need to know when to fight and when to negotiate/ walk away...

read this book by former FBI negotiator ( Never split the difference).. it is on audio book also...

What does that say about you? Should I be worried that you will throw our conversation online if things go sour in our contractor- client relationship

I am not trying to decide who is right or who is wrong but concerned you might be doing more damage to your image than repairing it.

I repeat. I don't wish to continue resounding to any comment about this issue. We have all made our points.

To clear the air more time. This time with my call with her husband last night before all this started. Again with the permission of the admins here.

Point 1: She claimed we never agreed.
Point 2: All she have said to me as confirmed by her husband is that they haven't started her job.
Point 3: My borehole installer did her borehole as one of the preliminaries before work starts. If she doubts it. I will still drop the evidence now.

Since many are quick to conclusion without asking the right questions and seeking for an apology.

Point 4: I will release another voice note from a reputable contractor here she contacted too and didn't use which no one is disputing she didn't have the right to.

What she did do, she is deceitful and that should be the watch word here, not saying I called her names as many are keen to look away from her numerous insults before I responded to her.

Now it's up to the group members to ask the right questions.

Depending on the wall height. Roughly 2 - 3Bags is OK. But if decking is included. It would be more than that. On normal level. 2 brick layers and 1 labour can do it.

On a worst case scenario, a brick layer can do it alone by himself and take the money for the two.

I hope you understand what is stated here.

Average charge is 8K as you have it. The skill of the bricklayer and finishing touch makes the difference too also how the walls are built on also determines the amount of materials to use. What I stated is the standard should everything be rightly done.

I was waiting to hear a design was used without consent or someone worked and wasn't paid for their services or something like that. So far, it doesn't appear like none of that transpired.

If you think its a bother and you stand no chance of winning the business, then decline the invitation to quote or tender. Simples!

Or if you want to cover your time and sweat spent on scoping a potential job and preparing a quote, then state as a pre-condition of engagement that you require some upfront payment before you even commit yourself... and see how that works out.

Let's be frank and sincere to ourselves sometimes. Too much diplomacy and political correctness masks the lesson sometimes.

I would have wanted to clear some vital points you made but then, let's not continue to flog the matter in here for the thread to move forward.
