We have started our colum base and starter colum reinforcements works.

We have commenced and completed the First floor electrical piping works here.

We have started forming our colum base basket, starter pillars and rings for the project as shown below. We have also visited some block industry in this area to ascertain the blocks we are going to be using as well.

More procurement is ongoing already and site preparation ongoing too. About 400 Bags of Cement is paid for and supplied for a start already by us. We have bought over 900 Lengths of irons from 16mm to 12mm, 10mm and 8mm. And 10! Bundles of binging wires are all available on site now. We don't intend to waste time or delay.

We have started buying some materials We saw irons for these amounts here for Full Guage (Standard) 16mm - 16,800 12mm - 9,600 10mm - 7,400 8mm - 4,200 Binding Wire - 35,000 Cement - 7,500 Like this, we already bought reinforcements that will take us to the decking These prices were lesser than this as at last week when I made enquiry. Dollar rise again have started affecting prices here again in the east

We had a market survey today to ascertain the price of Things around the market here. From Planks, to woods, to irons. I was a bit surprised to discover that they have full standard irons and less standard irons here. The former to be full Guage and the later to be less than full diameter of the reinforcements. Anyways, by our standard, we will be going for full Guage because we can't put down or quality of works for any lesser cost. Of course it is pertinent to note that the cost of full Guage is always and normally more expensive than the less Guage.

We have arrived at site. Everywhere is very bushy. So we will be doing site clearing first. There are lots of trees that will be uprooted and cut away so site clearing is gonna take up to 3 - 5 Days to prepare the ground. The Trees here are not small trees Find attached in the picture is the existing palace that we Will be remodeling much later in the project...

TopazandDiamond:Good day sir/MA. This are not wall bricks. We crafted it with hand manually and painted to design texture you are seeing. That's an art work right there... Not bricks at all... We only gave it brick pattern during the designing. |

Hello Dear Nairaland Followers. We are pleased to announce to you the birthing of our latest Project to be located at Aro ndi Izuogu Kingdom in Okigwe Imo State. This project is going to spring up in between existing buildings in the premises. It's a 4 plot property and my client is trying to uphold the legacy of his father through the erection of a world class royal architectural marvel and at the same time we would be renovating all the existing structures namely, main building (Bungalow), Boys quarters and a palace. Our New Proposed Structures comprises of the following. - 5 Bedroom Royal Duplex all room ensuite. - 1 Storey Gate house with two self contain flats. - Gen House The proposed carcass cost of the proposed structures we are about to erect is - #80m Here also, we are bound to finish this project in 10months - 12months Max. We intend to do carcass for 3 - 4 Months Max and use the rest for finishing because we would be doing so much detailing during finishing. We would try to see how far and fast we will battle with the rainy season which we are into already to get that time frame actualized. Our Team are already on ground. We are doing our preliminary works of which some of it is as follows: - Changing the existing windows of the main building Bungalow - Doing a geological survey for borehole - We were given a depth recommendation of 300Fit for the borehole in this property for a cost of 3.8m because the ground has rocks beneath and rig will be used for the borehole operation. - Next will be for us to begin the main building setting out as soon as the borehole is set. Find attached the 3D model of this proposed project and keep in mind that we are going to build it with 99% accuracy level. Yes, you heard me.
