^^ I dont think anyone is going to choose culture over religion. Choosing culture over religion means that you would marry people from your culture irrespective of their religion and that definitely is not the issue here. |
Her legs dont look osteoporotic. how they do that? ![]() |
It is a con indeed. Otherwise his head would be on the next chopping block for blasphemy.
Can you rephrase? That way, it can make sense to me. Thanks. |
Feminists are at it again!! Hmmmn |
A wife engaging in this kinda fight with an ex should be ashamed of herself. Seriously! |
“I couldn’t contain myself; I asked my colleague to transfer the video to my mobile phone. I did not tell him why I wanted the video, but I wanted to compare it with her (wife’s) photo I have on my laptop computer back at home.”The person who wrote this script no try at all. Why would you need to compare b4 knowing her as your wife. He also didnt recognise his relatives in the video? Why the need to cover up after Nigerians had done what they usually do- shout, cry, lament over the matter and then, move on. Why bring it back hmmmn? So we can keep on lamenting? |
Ever since I became conscious of dating,I have never dated a muslim sister before. Why? The reason is not far fetched, muslim sisters are always seem too reserved for me. They are not easy to woo. I had had hard times dating them. I know deep inside me that I can never marry a christian. Please, any available sister should feel free to contact me on my bb pin(2387F6A3) or reach me on ma mobile on 07085123439. Ma salam!
What an intro. A sister is going to see this and just like that be interested? I think not. But who knows? ![]() |
SEriously? Some are in it for the love of humanity Some for the rush Some to make a living Some because there is nothing else they could do And some others because it makes them feel like gods. They are the ones I call people with exaggerated brains. They try God. But more usually than not come out burnt, scarred for life. A few others become better, better in faith. |
One of the cons of the social network. Everyone gets to talk. But then, why care so much about what someone else says, like it makes a difference? |
DEmocracy in action. Even morons have a voice. |
You are landing in Nigeria and some people start to clap- annoying In a public place someone brings out his phone and the song is super annoying. |
tbaba1234: Even when they speak the same language, the dialect or where the person comes from will become an issue. It is far more irritating for me when muslims do it because we should not be doing things from Jahiliyyah...I agree. In some places, when his first wife is from elsewhere, the family would find for him 'their own' wife. |
I mentioned exposure as a reason that I think my parents would act the way I think. I understand that some people can act differently even when being exposed. But then, the question has to be, exposed to what? Tribal lineage shouldnt be having this much effect on us. But then, it is a big issue in Nigeria. If we have become a nation speaking the same language and with a cultural integration, this would nit have been a problem at least in a Nigerian context. |
Wow wow. Kudos God bless!!!! |
Logicboy03: Deols, we see you watching this thread....Nothing I say changes anything. I believe the admin is a wise person and does what is best in the interest of the forum. |
My parents would not have that problem. They are well exposed and have met people from different places. But my preference is a Yoruba man.I understand that Muslims are one irrespective of their tribes. But I believe in large families. I wouldnt want 2 have in laws that I cant communicate with or feel left out when family matters arise. Imagine that a husband is speaking on phone while wife is wondering if it is a 'woman from his tribe', to make second wife he is speaking with.(and I am potentially the jealous type) Then comes the cultural differences and the need to do things because that is the way they do it. |
true2god: I dont know ur tribe or religion. But if u r a lady, will u allow another man to give u out in marriage irrespective of wat happen bw u and ur father? Minus xtainity and Islam, we Africans have culture peculiar to our society and environment. And our tradition mandate it that the father of the bride should give her daughter out in marriage. Cos the father raised\tutored the bride from childhood and he has evry right for his emotion and right be respectd on issues that bothers his children.I didnt read all you wrote. I stand by what I wrote previously. The lady in question is grown up and I believe is wise enough to know what is good for her. |
And we ar supposed to just believe you? Link, source? |
