Racoon: The paragraph you quoted was saraki contradicting himself and end up in a state of ambiguity. He made zefo sense and to say revenue is not being matched with results is just plain silly, lying and disingenuous because we can see all the projects his party abandoned all over Nigeria getting completed while the same saraki you labeled smart is owing his own NASS members months worth of salary despite the huge NASS Budget he's sitting on. Obviously, they've looted the poor people's salary per PDP looting and stealing PDP tradition. |
As the leader of the Senate and the number 3 citizen, the president was insulted and called names by your place want members and you did not stop them, you did not admonish and you did not show act like a leader in control of his own chamber. Saraki should be apologizing to Nigerians and to the president for embarrassing the country .....but saraki is not a credible leader hence what transpired @ NASS. The man is a disgrace. |
ollah1:Well said. Funny enough, NASS workers are currently on strike as we speak because the same lawmakers and their leadership either embezzled or mismanaged their salaries, but are they worried or even concerned about their own poor workers with empty pockets during Christmas? No, the leadership sat there while their mannerless, crude and crass members disgraced themselves, their own chamber and colluding leadership. Good to know the 8 NASS, the most disgusting, unproductive and grossly corrupt is coming to an end and most of these national parasites including Saraki are not returning to NASS. Btw, the loudmouths on NL are the usual suspects, they are socially and culturally crude, backward and socially underdeveloped and they have their own lousy and mannerless upbringing to contend with |
emmykk:You mean you can not show us facts and video where lawmakers and people of the UK insulted and called their PM names on TV? Apart from the fact that you are ill-mannered and unruly as a human being doesn't mean you should compound your mental issues with lies and made up nonsense. Btw, even if such was done anywhere on the surface of the earth, doesn't mean it is a good thing, doesn't mean it's worth emulating in Nigeria, doesn't mean this is what you wish for yourself, your own country and your own children's future? See how retardded and mentally lawless you are? Sa to know they still raise mannerless children in Nigeria, but good to know you and your kind are not the best Nigeria has to offer. |
[s] emmykk:[/s] Same obnoxious, ill-mannered and thoughtless mentality. |
ogatboy:Your allegedly rubbish and made up nonsense that you can not back up with facts is the world news you want me to follow. Where was it recorded that the British PM was insulted and called names at the parliament? I know you people eat and breath lies, but must you bore me with your nonsense just because you are trying to convince me that we should be calling each other names, insulting each other and acting like animals because they do same all over the world and it's what you wish for yourself and your unborn children. Why must you justify and support everything that's bad and nauseating about Nigeria? What's in it for you people? |
"We all make mistakes," Obama told reporters, a day after Wilson stunned the president and his colleagues with his outburst. This is a teaching moment for Nigeria and Nigerians in general. We copied democracy from America, but we practice democracy upside down. Republicans and Democrats in America don't tolerate such disrespect and assault on the presidency, especially @ Congress. The lawmaker was made to apologize to the president and to the general public. The NASS leadership should have forced the lawmakers involved to apologize to the president or they themselves apologize on behalf of their members and their own failure to control their own NASS. |
The reaction to Wilson's outburst, nevertheless, was punishing — even without the specter of official House action.http://www.nbcnews.com/id/32767813/ns/politics-health_care_reform/t/obama-accepts-apology-wilson-outburst/#.XBq_mFxKjIU

emmykk:Stop repeating the same irrelevant and unrelated nonsense. Was the British PM insulted and called names? We know all about the British tradition at the Parliament and how they go back and forth during PM's speeches, they don't insult and engage in name calling. Your misguided view and understanding of this very important British tradition is a reflection of your own ignorance per the British people and polity. Please stop embarrassing yourself with your rubbish. |
Fineman87:What's the situation at NASS and disrespectful people insulted and called the President names got to do with Clinton having sex with interns at the white house? Where is the connection here? Was PMB at the at NASS to answer questions about having sex with interns or to present budgets? If you are going to defend such ill-mannered, obnoxious, disrespectful and lack of decorum behavior, do so with sensible and logical excuses, not irrelevant, unrelated and meaningless excuses. |
thunderfirebuha:You mean GEJ and his wife were insulted and called names while presenting budgets at NASS? This is why they say you people can never be lawful, decent and sane members of any peaceful society. |
emmykk:Mocking, shouting insults, name calling, unruly and childish behavior are totally not the same, but you won't know because you are used to such behavior and such behavior within your own immediate environment is tolerated. Says a lot about you and what to expect from your own children. |
ollah1:Wise decision. |
[s] Script94:[/s] Sadly for you and your kind, ipobs interpretation for the word failure and Nigerians interpretation are very different. Of course, we know how you people treat your elders so no surprise here |
duduade:Well said.. |
Arabiandude:I share your feelings. What's really disturbing is Saraki and Dogara's silence and inability to speak up, to control and admonish their members because this is when leaders stand and act like leaders, but sadly, these are not leaders so expecting them to control their own domain and members is asking for too much from failed leaders with their own conflict of interests. It's not even the President's job to discipline, to speak up or call NASS members to order, that's Saraki's job and he failed. |
What happened today at the NASS is nothing but a revolt on the leadership of the legislators. It means the members have no respect for leadership and that the leadership have no control of the members. Shame indeed to the leadership of the 8th NASS. Thank God the 8 NASS is coming to an end, including the end of Saraki and Dogara @ NASS. God Bless Nigeria |
ct2:They did already. Do you see them running after him? Do you see them at his rallies? No. |

tommenoh: The words test run flew over your head. I just don't know why you people are sad and depressed because Nigeria is finally starting and finishing projects to serve and benefit Nigerians. You people obviously prefer 16 years of looting, stealing and projects abandonment. I got news for you, we've turned corner, we are not going back to looting, stealing and projects abandonment. Get used to our new reality. |
deboysben:We've heard this crying and moaning anti Nigerian ipob sentiments before and it's getting more and more boring and unintelligent. In the warped and backward minds of ipobs and PDP elements, the losers, looters and corrupt PDP that left us with nothing after 16 years in office and $800 billion earning are the good people while the people completing, starting and finishing projects to benefit Nigerians are the bad people. I know you are praying and hoping they abandon this project just like your crooked and corrupt PDP uncles abandoned thousands of projects all over Nigeria, but these projects can not be abandoned because they are fully funded, they are completely paid. Nigeria is completing projects all over the place because people are not looting and stealing money like your PDP uncles did for 16 years. Nigeria is winning, ipobs and their looting and stealing uncles are losing God bless Nigeria. |
Import cover shrinks to 1.8 months as forex reserves decline KARACHI: Pakistan’s depleting foreign reserves brought the country’s import cover down to 1.8 months and the country may soon need to seek $10 to 15 billion of bailout package from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), analysts said on Friday. “Looking at history, it looks like Pakistan usually rushes to IMF when the forex reserves fall below 2 months of goods imports,” Executive Director - Research at Insight Securities Zeeshan Afzal said in an economic outlook. “Currently, the country has 1.8 months of import cover, and the finance managers have started hinting at possible negotiation with the IMF. The country’s foreign exchange reserves fell 3.3 percent to $16.243 billion during the week ended June 22. https://www.thenews.com.pk/print/335338-import-cover-shrinks-to-1-8-months-as-forex-reserves-declineLook at Pakistan, theWe have 3 times more than what they gave in reserves. They have 18 months worth of reserves to pay for just 2 months worth of food with. We have 3 times more than what they have in reserve. |
Reference:You are contradicting yourself. You can not be fully productive without healthy foreign reserve because reserves determines what you can and not pay for in form of needed imports in form of raw materials for your factories and industries. Productivity slowed down in 20115 because the precious administration drained our reserve which affected imports and productivity and we end up rationing fund for imports. A healthy reserve is good for our economy and overall productivity. |
hecomeshome:What is this ignorant village ipob talking about? Who is debating guilty or not guilty? I don't even remember uttering the word guilty in this thread. Obviously, you are just another ignorant, unintelligent can't read and comprehend ipob villager. Stop quoting me with your dumb rubbish, please. |
athiefKUlooter's only supporters in Nigeria are ipobs and anti-Nigerian elements. from the SE. |
FearGodinall:EFCC did not touch Fayose while in office because as a serving governor, he was immune from prosecution. Feel free to show us where he was arrested and put on trial while in office. Look in the mirror for idiocy, ignorance and lack of intelligence.,, These ignorant ipobs sef |
