Guy abeg clear road, is it a must say you go comment on my comment.

If you like mediocre, i don't. Our government projects are many times mediocre at their best effort when completed. As for private efforts, they work with the guidelines they are given and with the infrastructure they have to work around.

Almost everything in Nigeria is mediocre, leadership on many levels and many fields are mediocre; graduates from our universities in different fields are mediocre; following the religion or traditions we have chosen over growth and technology is mediocre; They or we say are giant of Africa, but we are mediocre at it; Our society is mediocre. Infrastructure, everything. Guy abeg leave me o, my blood dey boil for Africa's mass stupidity and ignorance. By 2030, more than 80% of Nigeria might still be in the dark if the oyibos don't come up with technology to give us light from their side. By 2050, Nigeria will still be shouting up NEPA.

Our people die going to Europe just to see how life is, just to see how an organized society functions. It is so organized that it accommodates others even though it was tailored for Europeans. If you put the whole of lekki as is in europe or america, it will just be an average neighborhood, but in Nigeria today, you will need almost international passport to go into mediocre estates including lekki.
[/s]

Keep quiet and stop spewing ignorant jargon.

If you are going to proclaim any project mediocre, doomed to fail, environmentally unsound, common sense and sane logic dictate that you show us your own on the ground assessment, detailing soil and environmental samples, quality of tools and equipment uses, quality and knowledge of hired manpower from engineers to pipe fitters.

The fact that this is a private investments totaling hundreds of millions of dollars mean for the folks involved to secure funding from international lenders, they must have submitted credible EIA reports, sound operational forecast and iron clad insurance to guarantee their investments

Nothing more foolish, irresponsible and reckless than ignorant jokers like you spewing nonsense based what you know nothing about, what you haven't studied, what you are not even part of. Even talking about dust regarding a project that even a day old baby know is still under construction.

What's religion and people dying in Europe, lekki, america and average neighborhood got to do with this project in Edo state? You sound very very senseless and logically insane, you just love to hear yourself talk, sense or no sense.

Just shut up and confine your rubbish to your ignorant kind.

If Nigerian youths fit channel their passion for European football to make crooks, corrupt and incompetent, stealing and looting stealing public officials like Ben Bruce to return the taxpayers N11 billion he stole, they will be able to effect a transfer of the expensive looters like Ben Bruce out of office to make Nigeria great again, instead of our youths and the Nigerian taxpayers paying useless public officials like Ben Bruce to sit on twitter instead of the senate floor, passing bills and looking for ways to solve the many issues facing Nigeria and the same clueless youths laughing at silly jokes when in fact the joke is on them.

Something that won't last is not impressive. We never ever do a complete or thorough job; only mediocre effort and results. I don't know the specs of this plant but even the environment it is commissioned on will accelerate the inevitable damage to this plant, just look at the dust around that can corrode the pipes, interfere with valve operations, and is a hazardous working environment. 450 mw for a country that needs up to 100,000 mw to be among serious developing nations is a joke.

A country filled with dunce mentality is a purely foolish and laughable country. Go figure!
Have you been to the place?

Are you part of the EIA team that assessed the project location and suitability or you just formulated your own ignorant assessment based on the picture you saw on NL that says the project is doomed to fail?

I don't even get the headache over dust and a project that's still under construction.

I intentionally asked you to show me where the law says someone must be step down before he is found guilty by the court of law, because you keep mentioning 'where does the say'? as if you are an authority in it.

If it is not legal issue, but morality, then Buhari should stop renominating magu, for morality sake.

Like I said earlier, you're an ignorant! You no next to nothing about Legislature-Executive relations in a presidential system.
The issue of dispute here is not whether saraki is corrupt and as such he must step aside. By the way, what evidence do you have that ministers are not corrupt? If there is allegations of corruption against Buhari, will he resign?
Don't derail from the contending issue-the question of president's nominee and Senate confirmation.

Like I said in the advanced presidential democracy like US where we copied our own, showdown between the Executive and legislature is a common phenomenon. That is what must be experienced. it is a Normal thing in a system where one arm is watching the other. This is where the third organ will come in. To interpret the law. This is what the court as done.
You can only keep ranting here, nothing can make them revert their decision. I can see you are only talking from emotions. House will keep stop the president affront on the citizens.

Given the intractable challenges of local gas market, and to guarantee uninterrupted gas supply to the EPPs, Lagos State has finalised arrangements with reputable international gas suppliers to deploy a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) to be moored on Lagos waters and this will be further supported by trucking of LNG from the South-South (in the short-term),” said the document.

Lagos state sabi their shenanigans, they are going International with international gas suppliers, they are even building own storage depot in Lagos.

The plan for gas from the SS is only short term, not permanent.

you are the one that likes to argue.whatever the private firms produce it goes on the national grid there is nothing anybody can do about it.Lagos state has eko and Ikeja disco that buy from the national grid.it cannot buy from the private producers of power
The Commission has in addition developed a Regulation on embedded generation which allows for power generation plants (including renewable energy) to be directly connected to and evacuated through a distribution network. It provides a window for investors, communities, state and local governments to generate and sell or utilize power without going through the transmission grid. This also offers a means for DisCos to increase the amount of power available to sell while eliminating the transmission cost component of the tariff.

Hope that clears up your confusion because I don't think you know the meaning of EMBEDDED generation....

In the arrangement, prospective EPPs will generate and inject off-grid power for distribution through the network of Eko and Ikeja DisCos. Huge investments are anticipated in upgrading distribution infrastructure of the DisCos such as 33/11kv, step down sub-stations, distribution transformers and feeders.

With this law and framework, Lagos state is doing what the FG refused to do before Fashola . Lack of guarantees, legal framework and guarantees have been keep power investors away from Nigeria for decades.

If you want investors to invest their money, you better produce iron clad legal frame work and guarantees to make sure their their investment is guaranteed and profitable.
