the mambilla power project was started during the tenure of shagari(not so sure), I don't think it has been completed sef.

And power situation keeps on getting worst where my two house are located
1. You are lying, it was on the drawing board for 30 years and previous governments ignored it even though this single project with less cost than the $16 billion PDP looted can generate 3050MW.

2. Is it even possible to start any project that money was never budgeted for and the contract was never awarded in the first place?

I understand that Nigerians are seeing improved power supply while ipobs and PDP roupies are not. Very understandable, no worries.

16 Years of PDP + $16 BILLION = 2050MW

3 Years of PMB + $5.792 BILLION 3,050MW Mambilla power project and many more.

The difference is clear.

I'M GLAD YOU ARE THE MOD/OP OF THIS THREAD AND YOU WELL CAPTIONED IT. KEMI WILL 4EVER TREASURE THIS DAY SHE HAD THIS PHOTO SHOT COS SHE KNOWS IT WAS A RARE PRIVILEDGE FOR HER TO MEET SUCH A "BRAIN"
When oil was selling for $110/barel in 2012, okonjo panicked and told us to get ready for recession

When oil was selling for $80/barrel in 2014, okonjo panicked and introduced austerity measures and told us to get ready for hardship and recession.

Okonjo was so useless that she had no clue where our money was going and coming from, all the agencies did not remitted little or nothing into the federal account in her care and she did not ask any question.

Okonjo sat like mumu when all the money generating agencies opened dozens of illegal accounts to steal our money, but the same okonjo sat like mumu and did nothing.

Oknonjo stole our $2 billion and gave it to Dasuki/ATM to share with Jona and his crooked and corrupt PDP cronies, she even wrote in her approval letter that she won't demand accountability for the money. Imagine the finance minister giving away $2 billion and washing her hands off our money as if it wasn't her business as the finance minister. Who does that?

Okonjo borrowed to pay salaries till her last day in office

......but under Keki Adeosun, she arrived when oil was selling for $27/barrel, but she did not panic, she did not surrender, she did not introduce austerity measures, she bravely managed our economy out of recession, made sure every Kobo our agencies generate ends up in the federal account in her care, unlike lazy and incompetent okonjo who looked the other way.

Under Adeosun and with oil selling for less, she still grew our economy, grew our savings and get us out of recession with ease.

Imagine okonjo as the finance minister with oil selling for $27/barrel. I see her auctioning Nigeria for pennies.

Performance and records on the ground mean Adeosun is smarter, more intelligent and capable than over bloated okonjo who presided over the largest earnings in the history of Nigeria, but still left us with a battered economy, undiversified economy, debts, emptied treasury and borrowings to pay salaries.

Okonjo was so clueless and lazy that she was paying billions to ghost workers.

Okonjo was bad news, she was a waste of time, she was an incompetent public official and also professionally corrupt.

You are not a lawyer, but you know all about rights and what the government can and can not do. Such spendings are always discretionary spending, even in America.

You are not making any sense.

By making our economy collapse?
ABUJA—The Federal Government, yesterday, introduced some austerity measures and scaled down the crude oil bench mark for the 2015 budget. In a bid to insulate the economy from falling crude oil prices the federal government announced far-reaching policy measures to deal with the crashing crude oil prices, cutting 2015 oil benchmark from $78 to $73 per barrel. Crude oil prices dropped to $77.76 per barrel, some cents below the $78 earlier proposed to the National Assembly as bench mark for the 2015 budget.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/11/fg-introduces-austerity-measures/
Okonjo destroyed our economy and she even introduced austerity measures when oil was selling for $77/barrel.

Kemi Adeosun successfully managed our economy from when oil was selling for $27 and she did not flinch, she did not introduce austerity measures and she ultimately get us out of recession. Our economy is doing better and savings is also better under Adeosun.

Okonjo was powerless and she crumbled like a baby when oil was selling for almost 3 times more than under Adosun, but Adeosun took charge like a real professional.

Okonjo-Iweala warns of economic recession ON JUNE 14, 20121:22 AM

Abuja — Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has warned of a difficult time ahead as she told the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja, yesterday, that “government should buckle up and prepare for a possible recession” in the economy.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/06/okonjo-iweala-warns-of-economic-recession/
The same useless okonjo told us to get ready for recession in 2012 when oil was selling for $111.67.

Lastly how good was our economy when okonjo was borrowing hundreds of billions to pay workers salaries till her last day in office.?

Okonjo the fake Harvard grad couldn't even account for our money, all our money generating agencies from NNPC to NPA and beyond had multiple accounts and were not remitting their generated funds, while clueless okonjo looked the other way.

You can not pull that and get away with it under Kei Adeosun.

We thank God okonjo was not in charge when oil dropped to $27 since her best option was austerity, recession and borrowing hundreds of billions to pay salaries when oil was selling for $80/barrel.

Thank God Kemi Adeosun is in charge today.

How much is N50 million grant at the end of the day with infrastructural expansion at the club, more social activities, job creation and more IGR for the state to harvest year after year, decades after decades.?

And they wonder why Lagos is fast developing and IGR is shooting through the roof.

This is money well spent, it's like planting IGR seed and in effect developing the state, just too bad that many Nigerian youths want to lead, but they are still too mentally backward, clueless and, shortsighted and immature to lead, especially the ignorant ones from the village.

You didnt add that Osun is one of the few states using formula and percentage system to pay workers salary, some get 50% of their salary, some get 75% and so on. So all the indices you listed above was achieved by Aregbe abi, if yes, with the debt he has incurred how does he expect the coming governors to perform if he's not selfish(Assuming the coming governors also want to borrow to do projects and steal the shine)Abi which organization will borrow you more money if you've not paid your outstanding debt, and since the debt payment is deducted directly from the source, Osun's allocation will remain not enough to pay workers their full salaries until you finish paying your debt. With your yeye 34% IGR, why is your clueless governor still waiting for federal allocation. Didn't he once boast that he didn't need federal allocation before he pays salary and you were all hailing him, at a point because he knew that most of you are lazy and ignorant to search for the truth, he lied that Jonathan was the one withholding Osun's allocation and that as soon as Jonathan left the office and Buhari gets there, he will clear all the outstanding salaries. Buhari has spent 3years now and your Aregbese is still owing you people.

Just for the sake of records and your fellow nitwits, let me elaborate the situation in Osun for you. From July 2015 to December 2016, every worker in the state from grade level 8 and above collected 50% of their salaries. From December 2016 after the FG gave states bail out, he modulated the salaries in such a way that workers from level 8 to 10 got 75% of their pay check while levels 12 and above got 50% up till date. So pls, before shitting from the mouth next time, get your facts straight.

Now if the coming ones don't have get capital to do any projects in the state because the debts incurred by Aregbe, people will say their performance is poor.

Now, how many states in Nigeria did over 100% in WAEC?

How many states in Nigeria grew their IGR by 34%

Bottom line, they have more and better quality infrastructures than nearly all the states in Nigeria

They have a fast growing econ0my to withstand and pay for any incurred debt even way before their maturity dates.

When you spend money wisely and promote aggressive infrastructural development, these are the kind of positive results you end up with.

Osun records 113% improvement in WASSCE performance

ON OCTOBER 26, 2016

Fresh information emanating from the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has shown a 113% improvement in the performance of students who wrote the May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in Osun state. The analysis of 10 years WASSCE results as seen in the table below, shows the increased dividends from the massive investments in education by the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
