To be candid with you, I don't know what is really wrong with average Nigerian. Even if you are so inclined to believe the pictures were taken in rainy season, and so fu.ucking what? Is this not Apapa road? Or do dry season repair roads?

Why is it that some people cannot take constructive criticism in their lives? When one criticizes the government, its simply for the government to sit-up and do her job.

Why must we turn every goddamn thing to ethnicity and religious problems? This is why Nigerian cannot be good at all and the leaders know this and they are using it against the masses.

Its appalling. - Just remember that we are first of all Nigerians and then religious and then ethnic groups
Even if this is the road in question, does it mean you must lie just to fool and deceive people?

How do you progress as a Nation with crooks, liars like the OP and anti Nigerian elements peddling rubbish on the internet.

Talk about misplaced anger and sense of judgement.

FORMER governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the Chief of Staff to Governor Rauf Aregbesola, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, former Head of Service (HoS) in Osun, Mr Segun Akinwusi, the incumbent Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Adelani Baderinwa and his predecessor, Mr Sunday Akere, among others dignitaries on Sunday night in Osogbo, celebrated the Saturday Tribune Editor, Mr Lasisi Olagunju, for bagging a PhD in Political Communication.

In a night of tribute organised by a committee of friends of Olagunju, one of the teachers of Olagunju, Chief Wale Oyeniyi lauded him for according due recognition to his teachers, just as he described him as a very brilliant and unassuming student, who exhibited hard work and commitment to academic studies.

He stated, “Olagunju always recognised and rever teachers. Anywhere he sees us, he often gives us due respect. He is obedient. When he had his First Class in English Language at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), he came to show me the certificate. Society and government should recognise teachers’ critical roles in Nigeria’s society”.

It is not a must, the Governor approached him and said he should stand up and respect him, if he doesn't stand up it's his decision, the Governor is not a Monarch and so therefore he is not his Subject. Elected Leaders are working for us, we put them there to manage our collective wealth, stop seeing them as your Oga, People chat on the street with Mayors, Governors of their states in developed countries they don't demand respect from people that elected them, you give it to them at your will not them demanding for it like its their right.

General Ironsi, an Igbo, emerged as the head of state. In his policies and actions, Ironsi did little to allay the fears of Igbo domination. He failed to place the coup plotters on trial as northern leaders demanded, and he appointed Igbos to sensitive governmental positions.

Bros, the program was not a punishment but the retaliatory coup was as it was well planned and carried out.
The pogrom was spontaneous.
And you saw no tribe during GEJ's time?
Exactly, claiming Igbos hardly blame themselves yet forgetting that no tribe has had a history of not being tribalistic IN Nigeria.
Like I said, "be truthful enough"
In the six months following the first coup, several things occurred that worsened the situation in the country. But the Fundamental Problem that occurred was Ironsi’s failure to try the coup plotters according to Manual Military Law. The failure to do so was one of Ironsi’s several mistakes that would eventually lead to a downward spiral of events led to the July Coup.

Another lie, the program was punishment for the coup and Ironsi not punishing NZEOGWU, right?
You also say Igbos can't! differentiate right and wrong yet you are here supporting the killing of over 500,000 defenseless and innocent civilians?
You See why people support a crazy N. KANU?

When your hatred beams like supersonic rays across the globe?
So, the killing of Ironsi and over 800 Igbo military officers was not enough punishment?
The progrom by the civilians of the North was a punishment for Ironsi not killing Nzeogwu and Co but jailing them (which you claim was not even a slap ion their wrists)?
All through your narrative, it is glaring you claim the coup was all about Ironsi's kinsmen and denying other tribes involved therein: bros people with this set of mentalities are why the Nigerian justice system and police intelligence is a sham!
This is why I hardly comment on. Nairaland: shallow thoughts not just from you but also from my kinsmen and other tribes too here who wouldn't even reason without bias but resort to name calling and blame games.
There's a clear difference between stating what happened and supporting what happened.

Bishop4real:
It is called "alibi" bro...! Why didn't they wait for the President (Zik) to be back or even wait till the Cyprus president left so as to also deal with Okpara? A coup that didn't kill the president - Zik, an Igbo - and had an Igbo man, Ironsi, as the immediate beneficiary speaks volumes!

The major attraction of any coup is the prime target(s) usually the head of the targeted govt & the immediate beneficiary(ies) usually the coup leader. Every other thing around the coup is cosmetic; Jara...!

In summary, who led the coup? Nzeogwu, an Igbo man! A leader must accept responsibilities. Who was the immediate beneficiary? Ironsi, an Igbo man!
And because of iboness, that ibo man refused to punish the sadistic and bloodthirsty killers, he did not even slap them on the wrist even though the standard and global punishment for what they did was death.

The North was indeed patient because they gave the military led by Ironsi the ibo man the opportunity to do the needful by punishing the killers and seditionists, but the ibo head of state was playing tribalism and refused to punish his ibo kinsmen so the North designed their own form of punishment, hence the pogrom in the North.

ibo people by nature cannot differentiate between right and wrong because they see tribe and tribalism 1st before anything and sadly, same is still the case today and this very second.

They are hard learners and they don't learn from their hystory.

Eya, it is really painful seeing all these APC zombie dreamers now shifting goal post after boasting of rigging out d governor and adding Anambra to their harem.

Now its all about PDP and not ur devilish APC party with all d federal funding and Arthur Eze 2 billion naira support being a wasted effort. If I were you, I will just drink one crate of alomo bitters in sorrow and sleep away shamefully.

For the fact that a money bag backed APC candidate and the fact that he is an Anambrarian and an Igbo fetched him d few votes he got, save for that and coupled with d fact that majority pro ipob supporters who ordinarily are ojukwu and APGA followers boycotted this election, I swear the margin APC will take lose will long pass third mainland bridge. Ask popular Ngige how far.

Again if this was to be between APC and PDP, bet me all the APGA voters will vote PDP. We did it for GEJ vs buhari and when it comes to state we vote APGA. Anambra are sophisticated voters that u can't buy with cash or mere royal father instruction like oba of Lagos did in d last election
Save your story for Nollywood.

These silly, hateful, bitter, angry and disgruntled ipob villagers are happy that they are too bitter and anti-Nigerian that they did not vote or perform their basic and civic obligations.

Who are these shortsighted and poor judgment jokers really hurting?

Common sense should tell you that instead of boycotting any election, you should organize, sponsor participate and vote for and elect pro ipob candidates to promote your views, hopes, and desires at both local and national levels.

I mean, the fact that you foolishly did not perform your civic obligations mean there won't be a winner or INEC won't announce any winner?
