The groundbreaking and the greatest achievements by the best brains and governors in the SE.

They developed Lagos, but sadly, the smartest, the most industrious and the richest people can not do the same in their villages....

This is when empty and shallow chest beating miss road.... grin grin grin

Stupidity is when you say a military governors govern because they were igbos. Do you know how many northerners that govern in Lagos and in South East. Do you know how many yorubas that govern in the North and South East Asia governor under military. Now my question to you, were they elected by the people or transferred just as northerners were transferred to the west also and Yoruba transferred to east. Average igbos are dumb in reasoning.
Huge understatement. grin grin

80% of deposits in GT bank are by SE and SS. 70% of Lagos local loans are from Diamond, Zenith and Fidelity, all Igbo banks. Come again with another excuse? Useless things!

If these afonjas have sense, they will be thanking this Igbo man for borrowing from GTB because he is paying over 15% on interest; extra money for yorubaas. If doesn't borrow it, where will your GT bank make money from? Ndi afonja ewekwa aku n uche?
Apart from the fact that you people are the best, the richest, the owner of Lagos and ABUJA, you are also very great and industrious when it comes to FIGURES AND STATISTICS

Politics › Re: Igbos And The Lagos Controversy. by deomelo: 4:48pm On Nov 21, 2017
This sad and destructive traits are not limited to just obiano because bragging, beating empty and shallow chest, loud, flawed, ignorant and undiplomatic claims are part of the igbo DNA structure.

The average igbo in his or her mind is better than the rest of Nigeria and the world in general even though this is not the case because the rest of Nigeria and the world can see the sad and horrible situation in the SE and the breath of their grossly incompetent, non productive and vision less leaders at the local and national level since and before independence.

This is a society that's very unproductive economically hence the need for their young and old generations after generations to leave that region for survival and daily bread in other parts of the country, but they still want the world to accept them as the richest, smartest, most developed and the most industrious region in Nigeria even though the economic realities in the region says it's the other way around since financial receipts, IGR and state budgets in the region are the lowest in Nigeria so claiming what doesn't exist or can be supported with credible facts and data equals delusion and self denial.

Lastly, when you have nothing significant to show from your own home or to be proud of, you needlessly claim or attache yourself to other people's land and property.

Question:: Where is the sense and wisdom in claiming what doesn't belong to you and boasting that you develop other proplr's land while yours rot and stagnate away? This is lunacy.
Politics › Re: Nndigbo: Why We MUST STOP Saying Lagos Is No Man's Land by deomelo: 2:46pm On Nov 21, 2017
GodIsBiafran:
My people lets stop saying this nonsense. Orji Kalu started this rubbish - as a political plow to distract from his abysmal failure in Abia state. If you like say this thing a million times - It does not change the reality that Yorubas run Lagos. Have you lived in Lagos? I lived there for many years, so I know what I am talking about.

We need to stop all this nonsense and concentrate on building and developing the SE. All this time we have been shouting Lagos is no man's land where has it gotten us? Biko lets buy sense! If we concentrate our efforts and divert more of our resources back home, with 2 decades the SE will become the envy of not just other regions but of the entire African continent.

Mods, Please take this to front page so I can have this discussion with my brothers and sisters. Thank you.
1. Fantasy and fantasizing is a God given right so why deny other people their fundamental human rights and the need to fantasize about what doesn't belong to you.

2. Not having anything to be proud of at home is a legitimate reason to fantasize and claim of ownership of other people's land.

3. It is a just and sane conclusion that upon the final creation of biafra, Lagos and abuja shall be joined or attached to biafraland, including all the multi nationals currently situated in Lagos state and Abuja, seaports and airports shall be moved to biafraland.

4. It is a foregone conclusion that igbo not only own Lagos and Abuja, they govern Lagos, the dominant language in Lagos is igbo, the food and culture is igbo, arts and entertainment is igbo, igbo run the corporate world in igbo, they control the legal sector, banking and finance sector and insurance and banking sector across Lagos state. Even the legislated language of discussion at the state house of assembly is igbo language.

5. All the streets, parks and Lagos state government institutions are named after igbo people.

These are the realities so deal with it.

DANGOTE FULFILS PROMISE, COMMENCES RECONSTRUCTION OF APAPA WHARF ROAD

https://businessandmaritimewestafrica.com/sites/default/files/house%201.jpg

The Dangote construction yard opposite Area ‘B’ Police station, Apapa

A visit to the construction site opposite the Railway complex in Apapa shows massive assemblage of heavy construction machines including tractors, caterpillars and other heavy earth- moving equipment. Also available are heaps of sharp sand, concrete and other materials for the job. The project which is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) had the nod of the Federal Government. It is expected to put the road in shape and relieve the sufferings of commuters who, for years, have grappled with dilapidated road network and traffic gridlock on the stretch.

The fact that I don't live on that street means there are multiple streets named wharf road in Apapa or it means that the whole of Whar road is not currently under construction.?

Awon oniyeye, common land bridge they copy in Lagos is already falling, in less than few years, little wonder they cant construct second Niger bridge and have been bleating since time out of mind. Just one simple bridge biko nu, you guys cannot build yet you have turned Lagos to eldorado, awon oniyeye.
Less than 2 years.

They want to be like Lagos by any means necessary, but their village governors lack the competence, vision and credibility to to do anything meaningful.

The village governor in anambra just hire bricklayer to build the village gather bridge. The bricklayer just use ordinary sand sand instead of cement and put plastic clippers on top to do decoration hence the rubbish falling apart from top to bottom.

Just look at the rubbish falling apart from so many points.

Danger number 1. The clipper is crumbling and about to snap.

Danger number 2. The main bridge is pulling away from the main body and could fall off on top of cars and innocent citizens at any time.

Danger number 3. The main body is so structurally unsound that part from major cracks, big chunks of the bridge are basically falling off.

This is village level infrastructure for you.. grin grin

Money can not buy class and competence grin grin

And the same poor folks in anambra village just voted for this horrible and incompetent man to remain in office and build more rubbish for them. grin grin

Besides, it actually rained on Saturday and slightly on Sunday. And now all of a sudden, because a "James Okoro" reported it, it has become ipob sympathizers at work. Dangote Group has reached an agreement with the Federal Government to extend the construction of the Apapa Wharf road in Lagos.

They have since come back to say 'We want to take the entire road network from Apapa, Liverpool, all through to Marine Beach to Mile 2 to Oshodi to Oworonshoki and to the Toll Gate, a stretch of 35km so that we develop one solution to the port evacuation problem'.
"We held a meeting on Tuesday, we have agreed that this is the route they will take and they have written back to confirm their commitment and what is left is for the design consultant to complete the design so that we then use that to determine the cost and we use this solution to solve that road network using concrete.
