Freeman Osonuga may soon become the first Nigerian to visit space!

My name is Freeman Osonuga, I am an African, I am a Nigerian, I am a humanitarian. I was recently selected as one of 30 people to participate in the Rising Star Programme, a collaboration between Kruger Cowne, One Young World and Spaceship Earth Grants which will send one person to space in 2016. I am happy to inform you that I have been shortlisted as one of 3 finalists. More than just being the journey of a lifetime, this spaceflight will help bring commercial space travel closer to being a reality. It is quite important.

For the next stage of the competition, I will travel to Bangkok, Thailand with the two other finalists to address 1,300 delegates and a panel of renowned judges at a special session of the 2015 One Young World Summit which will hold from November 18-21 next month. This session will be live-streamed to a global audience. I am a little nervous I must confess, but I’m quite confident that I’ll make Africa, Nigeria and you proud.

To show your support and help make history, please tweet #SendFreemanToSpace whenever you can

SalamRushdie:
Fashola defending his thieving DISCOS again ..If metering is not a responsible of a service provider who's responsibility is it then ? This is like saying metering is not the responsibility of of a petrol station , Fashola for your information metering is only beneficial to the DISCO so customer pay for exactly what they use except ofcourse on Nigeria where Fashola allows them to sell darkness under the guise of estimated billing , Fashola has just confirmed that estimated bills will still be around for some time
He gave the DISCOs N31 billion to supply meters and he's also preventing the DISCOs from monopolizing or sabotaging the metering system by allowing 3 parties to participate in the metering system.

The man was actually on the side of the public, read again and comprehend.

The Oba of Benin was head of the Benin-Empire which are present day Western, Southern modern- day Nigeria.
The King never obliged anyone to speak the Bini language as he believed everyone was entitled to their own choice of language.

The name Eko was given to it by the First King of Lagos Oba Ado, the young and vibrant Prince from Benin. Eko was the Land now known as Lagos Island, where the king Palace was built. The palace is called IDUNGARAN meaning “palace built on pepper farm” Oba Ado and the Warriors from Benin together with the early Bini’s settlers in Eko and the Awori people settled in the Southern part of Eko called “Isale Eko”. “Isale literally means bottom “. Yoruba people does't belong to Yoruba people, but the leaders from traditional to political are and have always been Yoruba, almost the whole of today's Lagos state was part of the western region/Yorubaland including all the industrial estates responsible for industrial Lagos were established by Awolowo in the old western region from Apapa to Ikeja and Ikorodu, streets are nearly all Yoruba named, food and culture remains Yoruba and Yoruba people even get to deport ibo miscreants and nuisance back to iboland and close down your 2x2 and markets in Lagos at will.

I also wonder why Lagos is part of Odua group, part of the SW and even using your money to develop the SW as shown in the above pic.

Btw, when you finally get your Biafra, are you going to attache or join Lagos to Biafra or any other region in Nigeria? I just wonder why you people try too hard to never make any damn sense. grin grin
