Nword22:
Igbos control Abuja besides arewa has no claim over Abuja... Abuja is not core north.
Owning a petty trading shop is now equivalent to control to our brothers. Well done. Gwarinpa, the largest estate in Africa, was developed by a company owned by a Yoruba man, we've not claimed Abuja yet, but it's one Emeka living in Masaka that's claiming ownership of the FCT.
Wotowoto awaits you from the real native of the FCT. I know your carelessness will push you to that extreme. It's a matter of time.

Rochas has done more charity than your obi , till date rochas has tuition free schools in all the geopolitical zones , which school has your obi built even privately?
I tire o. Obi this, Obi that. Why should anyone do charity and post the faces of the beneficiaries on social media? To humiliate them or what?

Oga, not everyone gives to charity and announce to the whole world for show.

Skullminers1:
This is exactly the same thing that will happen to Yorubas that have doing their Xenophobic in their region by asking Igbos to leave because the day Igbos will leave not only Lagos but the rest of Yoruba States they will eventually regret it.
Take for instance how Lagos got deserted during Christmas festival and New Year entire Lagos becomes ghost land then you can imagine when Igbos leave completely.
A word is enough for the wise and I know they will come against me like headless Chicken but I have said my own

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Vs Bola Tinubu: The Real Question Nigerians Are Afraid To Ask by DeOTR: 10:49pm On Jun 16
Obogidi:
And however did you think Nigeria will arrive at that, cos what will benefit you and I is good governance and perfect system of government, we need solutions
The current system is not primed for good governance. We need a complete overhaul of the whole system, but it appears that can not be achieved, because the people in charge are benefiting from the crooked arrangement.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Vs Bola Tinubu: The Real Question Nigerians Are Afraid To Ask by DeOTR: 2:05pm On Jun 16
Obogidi:
Nigeria is divided again.

On one side, you have supporters of Peter Obi — the man many youths call “the symbol of a new Nigeria.”

On the other side, loyalists of Bola Ahmed Tinubu — the political strategist who many say “built the system that made him.”

But let’s forget noise for a second…

❓ What do Nigerians REALLY want?

Is it:
👉 A leader with a clean, disciplined image?
👉 Or a leader with deep political experience and control?

💭 Some say Peter Obi represents hope, transparency, and a break from the old order.

💭 Others argue Bola Tinubu represents power, structure, and the ability to get things done in Nigeria’s tough system.

But here’s the truth nobody wants to admit:

⚠️ Nigeria’s problem is bigger than ONE man.

Not Obi.
Not Tinubu.

It’s about:
— Corruption we tolerate
— Leaders we defend blindly
— A system we refuse to fix

🔥 So instead of fighting each other online…

Ask yourself:
👉 If your preferred candidate wins, will YOU change?
👉 Will Nigeria really change… or will we repeat the same cycle?

🇳🇬 The future of Nigeria is not in Peter Obi or Tinubu alone… it is in ALL of us.

💬 Be honest:
Who do you believe truly understands Nigeria — Obi or Tinubu?

👇 Drop your answer. No insults. Just facts.
Nice write-up. All the noise is about person and secterian interests. On one hand, the Peter Obi people thinks it's the turn of the SE (in the deepest of their mind, they just want one of their own there, not necessarily because he can change anything), and on the other hand, we have the Tinubu people who feels it'll be an embarrassment for him to lose his second term bid. More of ego and almost nothing to do about what he has done so far.
I think what the country needs right now is for us to sit at a round table and deliberately chart a course for a prosperous future. No amount of "patch-patch" will alleviate the sufferings of the masses. You'll continue to cry, as always, if your favorite candidate wins next year, even if it's not the incumbent. Your parents complained, you're complaining, and your own children will also complain if we refuse to grow beyond putting our hope on a single person (the president).
We need strong institutions, not strong men, and so far, none of the top aspirants are saying anything in that direction, so, even if Tinubu loses next year, the only thing that changes is "the change of power from one f***l, one liar to another".

Yemmysworld91:
You people will just come here and type anyhow just for tribal sentiments.
The Yorubas dominate both kwara central and south and has produced governor since 1999. It's the turn of the kwara north who are the minority to rule the state for fairness
So APC should give their gubernatorial ticket to a Northern Kwaran against party primary outcomes? And if the opposition fields someone from the central or south, you'd still expect APC to win by which magic?

Company can produce 5000 boots a day for now. I doubt that would be able to meet local demand right now.
Government have no business doing business, but we are at the stage where promising manufacturing companies need interventions for them to grow and stabilize. China must not be allowed to ruin our manufacturing industry. Most of their products are even substandard compared to locally made. For instance, almost all electricians you'll meet would prefer to use Nigerian cable to Chinese one.

PoliticsRe: Steps NDC Can Take To Win The 2027 Elections by DeOTR: 8:35am On Jun 15

🤣🤣🤣 Peter obi is too stingy and selfish to think of doing any of the above, even if they do all of them, they're not going to win in 2027, the APC has a well grounded and fully funded structures on ground, gome are the days when religious sentiment and tribal bigotry help in winning an election, president tinubu is well prepared for you people , we don't know about 2031 but I see tinubu winning again in 2027 massively.
Well, that's supposed to be a party affair, but then they'll claim the love is organic, when we know money runs political parties all over the world.

PoliticsRe: Will Nigeria Divided Into 4? Where Will Your State Be? by DeOTR: 3:52pm On Jun 13
nobilie:
Kwara have a large population of Yorubas but will be in middle belt which is NC. Reason is, you can not get a perfect borderline. Except there's a agreement for a people along the borderline to choose their country and their land will be mapped into the other country.
There are Igbos in Rivers, Delta, Kogi and Benue but they are regarded as minority (sort of) in those states.
It takes a lot to agree on a country's boundaries
The Yoruba part of Kwara and Kogi states will certainly go with the SW in the eventual fall of this unholy organization called Nigeria. The borders are artificial and created by the Nigerian State.
How do I know? I'm from ekiti local government of Kwara State and my hometown is a border town between ekiti and Kwara State. There's nothing like agreement to choose, it's a necessity.

The SW alone is enough to bring any government to its knees and they've been at the forefront of activism, so I don't understand your tribe is even consequential in this protest.

State police shall pave the way for nigeria break up. Each state will have tha apparatus to maintain law and order. Nigeria isnt ready for state police as Jonathan once weighed, it just Tunibu has other agenda.
It's not a bad thing if Nigeria breaks up if that will end this madness. Nothing is worth the blood of an innocent person.
PoliticsRe: State Police Constitutional Framework Near Completion - Bayo Onanuga by DeOTR: 8:08pm On Jun 05
RIALITI:
Although creating state police is a good thing considering the insecurity we are currently battling in the country but at the same time I hope this won't be another war to the citizens on the long run due to police brutality.

My opinion if I could be heard, is that state policing will increase police brutality tremendously if not handled proactively and effectively by the law. Adequate trainings and mental checks must also be done routinely to those force men so we don't create another monsters.

NOTE: Don't be surprised to later hear that bandits are also recruited into the state police job eventually to sabotage the new approach. So the recruitment processes must be very rigid, thoroughly srutinized and also fair.
That's your business if you decide to recruit terrorists into your own state police force. The madness will end within your State border.

State police is a recipe for disaster.

Nigeria ain't ripe for such.
Anything to cure the current madness is a welcome development.
There's no greater disaster than what we currently have now.
Any state that's not ready should not be obliged to have a State Police. It's as simple as that.

Is it even legal to travel interstates without any known destination? Only in Nigeria.

This guy no try at all to make this voice over. The guy don go prize market. By the way,Tinubu doesn't speak that fast na.

And VDM needs to publicly apologize to PBAT for sharing that fake voice seeing that it did not emanate from PBAT.
I've always known VDM to be an idiiot, but I wasn't expecting him to go so low like this. When someone played this voice note, I immediately knew it was a deep fake.
Tinubu might be everything, but he will never ulter those statements, not even alone in his bedroom.
Even VDM should be in trouble for spreading this nonsense. People should be ready to take responsibility for what they post or share online. Ignorance is no longer an excuse.
