These minority northerners don't even know it's the grace of One Nigeria that's holding these jihadists back.
Any military take over now will be the end of the country.

A photo of Christian protesters protecting their Muslim counterparts as they observed their prayers on the road in Jos, Plateau state has gone viral.

The protesters had gathered this morning to participate in the nationwide #endbadgovernance protest.

When it was time for their Zuhr prayers, the Muslims came together to observe the prayer at the protest ground while the Christians gave them protection.

This is the Nigeria of my dream
A United Nigeria
See how hunger united them. Henceforth, I hope they'll respect their religious differences when it matters most.

We all know why they worked against Jonathan and why they're protesting against Tinubu now. They wouldn't be any protest right now if the President is from Kano State, even if people are dropping dead because of hunger.

You much be silly and absent minded...

I never said Nigerian govt should give her citizens money. I only sighted an example of how rich we are...

slowpoke ... Mind you, Dubai also depends on oil and look at where they are.

If UAE is as populated as Nigeria, they'll be as poor as we are. Maybe you don't know our national budget is just a paltry sum of 150k per head annually.
Now ask yourself if someone earning 150k a year is anywhere near a comfortable man?
You made an outrageous claim that the country is rich enough to give each citizen 1m, citing our national budget. I'm telling you the government will need more than 3x our current budget to even try for half our population.
It's a bum that'll think 30trillion naira is a big money for a population of 200million people.

I sighted an example to show how rich we are in this country, but your lil sense of reasoning took it personal till you got emotional by insulting me. Chai... School is not really a scam. Knowledge in school but wisdom matters... I never said govt should share 1million to citizens. I only said if Nigerian govt can share 1million to each citizens, we will still have more than enough in our treasury. In your response spitting trash. Grow up.

We do budget of trillions, nothing to show for it. Oponu
You're a big fool. Who in their right senses would even think of what you vomited out?
Let's even assume it's an if. Can the government even afford to send 1m each to everyone?
Maybe your maths teacher didn't teach you well.
It's only an idiot that will even assume a budget of less than 30trillion naira will go round a population of even 100m people if they give everyone 1m each.
Is that your imbecilic maths even right to you?

That's how they'll be shouting bad government up and down. Give them the opportunity to right the wrongs now, they'll do worse than people they have been criticizing.

He is completedly wrong... Let's look at it this way, what is our population? 200million right?
How much is our annual budget as a nation? That is into trillions right? If Nigerian government decides to give each citizen from 18 and above #1million, we will still have much in our reserve/treasury. But what are they doing with our common wealth? To enrich themselves...

No jobs
No good health care
No good water
No good roads
No food
And so on.

Look at Dubai, they got their oil after us, in infrastructure, they are there. In well being of the citizens, they are there.

Since we took over from the whites, we cant seriously rule ourselves. Can we say the should come back to recolonize us again?
See dumbness personified! shocked cheesy
Let's even agree it's OK to share money like akara to people.
And let's assume 100million people are above 18 years in Nigeria. 100m x 1m is how much? And how much is our annual budget?
You're talking about sharing 100 trillion naira when our budget is not even up to 30 trillion.
What can you even do with a million naira now talk more of when it'll become as useless as a toilet paper (because that's what giving free money to everyone will do)?

Now I'm very much convinced we're a reflection of the leaders we have.

It's the same thing we did in the 70s during the oil boom, giving people free money, students receiving allowances to get married, when other countries are investing in infrastructures and saving.
God forbid people like you find their way to any position where critical financial decisions are made. You'll make more mess than we can handle. Damn!

Why did China did the one child policy? Don’t you think it got to a point where they decided they need to stop?

Population without productivity is nonsense. It took China lot of years of starvation and death to get it right. Nigeria can’t even starve for one year before everything turn deadly because of our multi ethnic nature.

If I am president. Any man earning 30k that give birth to 14 children will be hanged on national television.
Thank you. I don't even know why someone earning 30k monthly will be having erection talk less of getting married.

Richtaiwo:

You are specifying some few spots where it happens in the North. Now compare it with states where it happens everywhere on the streets and the actors are even boasting about it. Whenever reports throw the reality of your activities to your face, you start pointing fingers at the North. If the report had placed more number on the North, pretty sure you will start insulting muslims and islam.
It's your problem if you think my comment has anything to do with Moslems and Islam.
There's no where you'd go in Nigeria that you won't get laid, no matter how religious they might want people to think they are. That's the reality and this is not even a few places in the North. You'll see it everywhere if you look well enough.
I travel a lot and I know much about places and people in Nigeria. I can bet you, vices and immoralities are more rife in the North. From drug abuse, theft, and prostitution. Just name it. They're are just being hypocritical.
I'm not defending sexual immoralities or trying to draw any parallel here. Heck! I'm not even from any of the states listed there.

You people think politicians are scared of southern youths protest No no grin grin grin. They are fleeing Nigeria cos there is an intelligence report that elements from Niger have been imported to turn the protest to a revolution. The north seems involved and only north can lead a dangerous protest that can shake government in Nigeria
It's a good thing that this is coming from the North. Me, I personally believe Nigeria will break from the North.
They're the only one with the morbid fear of the eventual disintegration of the country. They should be aware they can lead to their fear come true.
At least, we all can now agree to sit down and chart the course of our destiny or go our separate ways.
The President should use this opportunity to restructure the country to the way it was before the senseless coup in 1966.
