Mynd44: This is not right. I can see you are back to the old ways or whipping If a state has a population of say 10 million, how can you expect that state not to have more representatives than a state with a population of 3million? Are Reps based on the population or states? ? In the said populous cities don't you have people from other tribes? Why won't those competent non-indigenes in those metropolis represent those cities, that's if it's all about representation and not to favour some to the detriment of others? Any sincere person knows there's no equity. I wonder sometimes why those who designed the quota system did not consider the lot of someone from any of the minority groups aspiring to preside over this nation, thru general elections. But they'll talk about educationally disadvantaged states and allow a score as low as 9 when others are expected to score over 100 |

Did his decisions amount to the interest of Nigerians? When you begin to trust everything your leaders tell you rather than using your own common sense, one day they'll sell your heritage for their own convenienceto do their job and get paid while you continue to suffer the effects after they're gone. Do you think yourand gone home to wait for results to be compiled and announced? He should rather advise the president-elect to curb waste in government and restructure the civil service to gradually shed its idle workforce by introducing policies like shift work while investing heavily in the economy to generate employment and develop infrastructure so you think He didn't consider the implications? Mind you,he's privy to the true state of our economy. Anyways,it's. Up to Buhari. |

Some people go to church solely for business connection which is WRONG and some would swap churches because of a business opening like this. But the salvation of one's soul is the Most important gift any Churchgoer can get from God. pendicle: Imo is PDP, Abia is PDP.
Rochas is needed in the Federal Government for better service to the Federation.
He should leave imolites to determine their fate. See Gombe, the only saving grace for Dankwambo was the fact even the blind can smell the fact he has performed.
Ihedioha will not win his polling unit in any sane society but what do we have in Imo, A governor who provided free education up to tertiary level, built schools, built roads, gave almost SS3 students notepads, imoroved health facilities across the state is even allowed to be rigged out because he belong to a party most if not all Igbos hate like a plague.
Such is the siege mentality and hated filled idiocy ravaging the south east and south south.
Okorocha should not be bothered for his experience and expertise will be appreciated in Abuja thpeople. We have seen them behave same way in Lagos so why bother. Have you been to Imo? Don't become hateful because of propaganda. An Imo friend domiciled here in Lagos was also shouting 'free education' when I further scrutinized him and he put a call thru to an aunt who said what she was told was a slash in tuition. Please verify things first. dinachi: Amaechi lost contact with the people...Dakuku is a good man but a very poor politician and very weak personality. I saw him a few times and I was sad that he wasn't bold and confident. On the other hand Wike love him or hate him was everywhere throwing everything at APC. He sounds very convincing and delivers his arguments with great confidence and boldness. Amaechi should have looked for a very strong character to match Wike... Wike completely outclassed Dakuku as a politicianJ. As for the hand bill depicting Amaechi and Dakuku as betrayers, I still do not know why they couldn't counter it with their own that will depict Wike as a betrayer of rivers people and pursuing an Ikwerre agenda by insisting to replace amaechi. If I was in Amaechis shoes, I would have won the state elections hands down. I'm sure many never liked Wike but Ameachi took the People of Rivers for granted. He thought he could intimidate Wike because GEJ left him to do whatever he liked. My brother the vote was against Amaechi .. |

Emmaowolabia: Ameachi is a man. He has done well, standing his ground till the end of the whole exercise. He may have lost in his state but surely he has a position at the federal level. It will not be long for rivers to congratulate themselves or castigate themselves for their decision. Besides, Prophets are respected everywhere except in their own hometown and by there relatives and their family. Ameachi will always stand tall in the history Nigerian politics. I hope mistake in imo state because that man(Rochas) there, is the only viable future hope of possible Igbo president moment. Amaechi will most be remembered as a serving-governor who almost plunged Nigeria into chaos because of his selfish ambition and personal hate for GEJ/PEJ. If you have been observing Rochas, you'll know he's an opportunist. Clue:check the various political platforms he has used. APC sef no sure. |
