jasondavidz1: Congrats CanadianNurse Engineer ,
ethiopian airline has a good reputation for an african airline(cost effective too and somewhat reliable). but bear in mind that you might fly from abuja to addis ababa before you begin your transatlantic flight(waiting @ ethiopia for hours for your connecting flight). luftanza would be a sure bet(more expensive though but you would enjoy the german hospitality). egyptair is cost effective(your might wait 4-5hours in cairo before proceeding to canada with your heart pounding ).
my tots...congrats once again
use abuja airport ....lagos airport na wa(stressfulllll)... |

Ables, I need to know, if your academic referee that will write one of your appraisals does not have an official mail rather the every regular Yahoo mail, will his appraisal be accepted? Or must it be an official(school) email eg _abc@absu.com] Most times, they specify it on their website. So check if they need the ''official'' school email or just a referee email. Or you could call the school to verify. Regards DereI |

tommee: Hello mamacajah,
Pardon me i dont totally understand your response can you please break it down further!! are u saying i should state the truth that i applied for U.S visit using the services of an agent hence the denial or i can just thick yes and give a generic answer saying reason for denial not stated. Because i fear really is that i no they share infos with the U.S and the information am filling is totally different from what they will see if they view my visit application to the U.S Were you given a reason for your denial at the embassy on the day of your interview? If no, you could simply say so. |

abmendozer: Hello guys! Please i need your help on this...
After my study permit refusal in JAnuary 2017, I asked the school to refund my fees of 7545.05CAD which they processed and as at April 7, i got the wire trasfer receipt from them that the refund (5526.06CAD) has been made which my bank(Ecobank) confirmed. Now, since April till now(July) i was told that cbn has not given them(Ecobank) the naira equivalent. I just ended a call with a staff at ecobank head office that cbn has gven them the naira eqivalent and my account would be creditted tomorrow.
NB: I paid the 7545.05CAD to the school in April, 2016 which was about 1.2m Now i was told the my account would be credited ONE MILLION AND SEVENTY SEVEN THOUSAND NAIRA.
My question is... is the current exchange rate not supposed to affect the amount to be credited? because the staff that is helping my monitor the process said that the dollar rate cbn gave them is 196.
please how true is this? is there any cbn or ecobank email address i can confirm this? I paid my fees via form A through Ecobank and they charged N267/C$. They should refund you same. Unless, as at the time you made your payment, C$ was N196/C$, then you would be refunded same. |

muyem: I wonder why no one would want to assist on my post above. This is over a week and no advise.
Ko wa pa o! Respond as convincing as you can ever be with the truth. You have actually been refused both USA and Canadian visa previously of which you already ticked Yes. Did you indicate that you were refused canadian visa only? If not, then explain that the ticked Yes is meant for the US and Canadian visa. Remember to screenshot the application where you ticked Yes alongside your response. But note that if you had knowingly omitted the fact that you were initial denied a US Visa, there's no excuse for that. Warm Regards. DereI |

tommee: Hello sirmicholo,
In my own case i paid an agent who applied for U.S visit 5years ago with wrong information and i was denied because i couldnt answer the V.O confidently now am about to submit my canada study application. can i state the above as reasons for denial? can they see the infos i used on the U.S application? i am planning to tell them the truth stating (i applied for U.S visit with the assistant of an agent who gave false details and information about myself and the whole application hence the denial.) hope it wont affect my current application negatively
@Austinpee4 your professional input is required here sir But the question is always; Have you been refused a visa to any country previously? Your answer should be a Yes or No. Going into details sometimes might derail the process. Saying an agent filled in false info, do you have proof backing that statement? Was it ticked that your us visa application was completed with the help of an agent? I believe a simple ''Yes'' is all you need. Just my thought though. Gurus in the house, your input is needed too. Warm Regards DereI |
