I have been reading advises here concerning Canada students visa and all because that has been my plan to study in Canada. So I paid an agent to secure me admission in Canada and the admission letter came in on Tuesday this week. The program is a certificate program in Project Management and it starts in January 2018 and will end in August 2018.

All the documentation I'm required to bring appear easy so I will focus in the financial aspect.

The program will cost 16,000 CAD which amounts to about 4m. My

Living expenses is 8000 CAD that's another 2m.

School said you can pay half of the tuition fee but recommended that you pay all because it will enhance your chances of a visa.

I have put my sport Trac for sale at 1.5m last. in order to raise some money for tuition.....

House any heads up for me? Please I'm all ears.

WHats your current qualification? If it is higher that a Certificate, don't even waste your money and time.
The VO would want to know why you'd wanna study for less than a year but spend as much as C$16,000 for tuition.

If you cannot convince the VO the reason why you'd wanna do that, then it will be a definite refusal.

But why on earth would you wanna study for 8months and pay as much as C$16,000 when you can study for two years with that same amount? JUst thinking aloud though..

I have been on this forum long enough and this is my little way of giving back.
A family of mine has suffered from diabetes type II for over 7years and has gone through a whole lot of ordeals.

Lately, his blood sugar level has been between 390 and 420.

Today's Meal

Cabbage Moi Moi

Ingredients

Cabbage
Pepper
Crayfish
Seasoning
Palm oil and Coconut oil
Sea salt
3 medium sized Eggs
Onions
Psyllium husk

Preparation

Wash and blend cabbage, drain all the water and set in a bowl.
Blend pepper, onions, crayfish together and pour in another bowl.
Break the eggs inside the rough-blended pepper and mix together.
Pour the pepper inside the cabbage and mix.
Add a tablespoon of psyllium husk and mix
Pour in your moi moi containers and put in a pot with water.
Boil for 20-30mins until its done.

Serve with a chilled bottle of soda water or ordinary water.

Paper application needs two passport photographs during submission. Biometrics is a totally different requirement.

Question 1...............Your hometies are; Family, Employment, Investment, Property (Preferably Real property), Obligations in Nigeria (E.g Being a princess of one small village ) etc.

Question 2................If your business is not registered, ensure to submit receipts, invoices and other documentary evidence that shows that indeed you're self-employed. Indeed your uncle with same surname can sponsor you. According to Citizens and Immigration Canada's website, you're expected to have your tuition fee and a mininum of 10k Cad for living expenses for the initial (1st yr) of your proposed program. when you add these two things together, your uncle's account balance should be more than the resulting outcome after adding your tuition and living expenses; cos the Visa Officer would assumed that your uncle wont empty his account just so he could sponsor you. Furthermore, your uncle's dependents/responsibility shouldn't be too overwhelming so as not to raise the visa officer's curiosity regarding provisions for his dependents and himself. It is prudent you include your parents' properties to further show that you have socioeconomic ties to Nigeria.

Question 3...........You'd need to include your degree certificates, neco or/and waec results, transcripts from post secondary institution attended, Nysc discharge certificate and some other documents that are peculiar to you; cos apparently there are no generic documents to be submitted, it all depends on your situation and circumstance. Ensure to submit only relevant documents that will aid your application. Cos some documents may backfire. Ensure all documents submitted are vetted and genuine ! This later part is very cogent. If someone is going to arrange your documents for you, ensure to sieve through all the documents to make sure there is no fake or forged document(s) as this may affect the overall credibility of your application.


Paper route or online route.....any one of them suffices....Cos of the exchange rate, online route may be more expensive. If you will be needing your passport soon, i'd really suggest online route, cos it doesn't require your original passport just scanned copy of your passport will suffice. This does not mean that if you submit via paper route, you cannot retain your passport, there are circumstances wherein you may retain your original passport even when you submit via paper route.

Be properly guided ! You have come to the right place to get information regarding study permit.

I graduated 2014 (B.Sc 2nd Class Lower - Business Mgt) and will round up NYSC by April 4th. I applied for PGD in Business Administration - Human Resource Management and Leadership in Camosun College and I've been offered admission for Fall Session 2017.

I will love to begin the Study Visa procedure immediately but i have questions.

1. What will be my home ties?

2. I am self-employed (unregistered) and can afford to pay part of my fees (Like the initial deposit or first semester) and can also use my Uncle's (Same Surname - Dad's younger brother) SOA as Sponsor. Is there a specific amount he should have in his account? Mum and Dad has Landed properties, do I need to attach the documents too?

3. Apart from the LOA, SOP, SOA,Medicals, Family info,etc, What else do I need to add to my application.

4. I intend to go through the Online Route, hope i'm on the right track?

was a visiting visa oh which was to expire a day to the expiration date of my passport.

But wait ooo... How come you were given 4years Visa? Is it a Visitor's visa or a Study Visa?

Even Fall 2017 programs are still ongoing in lots of Universities and Colleges.

Some program offer winter admission with funding. You don't have to wait till fall 2018. But you will have to do rigorous search for them. Good luck.

The travel history doesnt really matter in Canadian Visa application. What matters is your financial capability and home-ties (What you have here in Nigeria that will bring you back).

Good afternoon. I have followed this thread since Part 1 and knew that soon, I'll be posting mine here too.

So after applying to two schools in Canada (Algonquin College, Ottawa & Camosun College, Victoria BC), I finally got an Acceptance letter from Camosun College today to study Post-Degree Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource Management & Leadership Option and this is where it begins.

I have created a profile on CIC website and gotten the Checklist of documents to be submitted.

Hopefully by monday next week, I should pay the Initial deposit for the school in order to receive the LOA.

Calm down n read before commenting. She said it was revoked not expired. Also remember that if you dont check your emails frequently, you will never see the notification for new mail in your cic profile.
